Paris, Texas is something else. Since I watched it for the first time a couple years ago I haven't been able to find anything remotely good. It might've set the bar too high.
My Top 10 would be 10. LA Confidential 9. The Man Who Wasn't There 8. Django Unchained 7. The Departed 6. Inception 5. Oldboy 4. The Shawshank Redemption 3. The Green Mile 2. Memories Of Murder 1. Memento

@@YoshiEgg0000 I think this is a good list though I have to disagree with 2001 at 4, Its good I feel like Eyes Wide Shut, The Shining, and a lot of other Kubrick films far surpass it. As for my list if you dont like it thats fine its your opinion ig, though theres no real reason to be a dick about it? A decent amount of my list has changed though its still pretty similar with the main changes being the inclusion of Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, and Eyes Wide Shut.
some movies I really liked are Mullholand drive, rosemary's baby, napoleon dynamite, 12 monkeys, to kill a mocking bird, good will hunting, the thing, the big Lebowski, unforgiven, night of the living dead, true romance, the girl with the dragon tattoo, gone girl. Also, I watched election because of this list and thought it was a great film.
My top 50: Jaws, Tootsie, The Manhattan Project, The Manchurian Candidate ('04), Searching For Bobby Fisher, Little Man Tate, End Of Watch, Prisoners, There Will Be Blood, Terminator, War Games, Valkyrie, Whiplash, 50/50, Flight Of The Phoenix ('04), Aliens, Pleasantville, Quiz Show, White Water Summer, Matchstick Men, Stir Of Echoes, The Village, Tombstone, Stargate, Nothing In Common, Stand By Me, Terms Of Endearment, Hoosiers, A River Runs Through It, Goodnight And Good Luck, Amadeus, Amistad, The Color Purple, The Deer Hunter, Shawshank Redemption, Krippendorf's Tribe, It's A Wonderful Life, Rain Man, Enemy At The Gates, 12 Angry Men, The Truman Show, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, Wish I Was There, Young Frankenstein, Clue, Dead Poets Society, School Ties, Scent Of A Woman, The Graduate, Good Will Hunting. Honorable Mention: The China Syndrome
I haven’t seen some of these but I have heard of most of them and agree with a lot of the ones on here. I kinda guessed Sideways would be on here and I was really surprised when I saw CMIYC as #1 cause we share the same favorite. It doesn’t have that much foreign films here but I don’t even watch THAT many and this is a list of your personal favorites so I try to keep an open mind when I watch these and as should a lot of people on here
Good list, The Social Network, Willy Wonka, Breakfast Club, Goodfellas, Back to the Future and Catch Me If You Can would probably make my Top 10 too honestly
It's over a year since you've posted now. But I take it based on your love of oldschool nostalgia/feel-good films and Sideways by Alexander Payne with Paul Giamatti being in your top three... you must've loved The Holdovers

Paris, Texas in the thumbnail. One of my favorites as well
Wenders Version of THE SEARCHERS.
The music had me thinking Call Me By Your Name would be number one haha
Now that would’ve just been TOO obvious, haha.
Me too I love the music in Call Me By Your Name and then that horrible person Armie Hammer turn out to be so rotten !!!
Loved your choices!

I love to see Sideways in third position, great pick! A lot of great movies btw. I suggest you to watch, if you didn't, "Nebraska" and "Frances Ha" :)

Great list. I don’t see Catch me if you can, Sideways, Elction, Training Day, and Collateral in enough lists.

What a list, Bryan! Catch Me If You Can is so utterly incredible. 20 years old this year, ain't that crazy?
Great video as well, Just subbed!
When I saw "the descendants" on the list I instantly thought will "sideways" be on there. Woohoo it is such an awesome film, one of my favourites too
A fellow Whiplash enjoyer!

My top 50 would be....fifty other movies besides those.
Wow you’re soooo cool
A lot of film school 101 choices, but having Sideways in your top 3 makes you alright in my books.
Nice top 50
I'm glad I'm not the only one that considers Licorice Pizza one of the all time greats

Awesome list!
Nice list. 😊
Love your taste, looks a bit like me list
Hot Fuzz 7th... Finally, man of taste
30/50
Hot fuzz such high rank why ?
would add Papillon.
I was super pumped seeing Children of Men on the list. Though 50 is too low IMO. Still, a great list.
goodfellas is the only one on my 13 favorites
A weird Taste I must say 😃
Nothing wrong with this list. I like every film on it.
It would not be my top 50, but it all is a matter of taste.
Yes sir!!!
50%
Nice to see Midnight In Paris' in a 'top' list. Would be in my top 50 also.
Nice picks
This list was unique and great.
This not in any way unique
@@j_montt I haven't seen some of the movies that were there on the list.
I agree, School of Rock is better than The Godfather.
Beautiful list!

Catch me if you can, as the foundation of your list, makes the whole list crumble, in my humble opinion
Very original list.
this list is so braindead
5 great films and a lot of dross
I saw two I really like.
Very poor, just western stuff
Well you did say favorites not best films

Hmm, clearly not a student of world cinema. Nice try.

We don’t need to be jobless to enjoy some movies you know 😉
