Frank and Dean, two kings of entertainment. How I laughed watching the two of them tell their stories! I miss these great artists!

Johnny Carson is the great programme host here. He'd delivered his parts perfection every time.
A great man. He'll always be remembered.
The Tonight Show is Johnny Carson.

This was from the fall of 1965: the Dodgers had just won the World Series and Dean Martin had begun his NBC variety show. Apparently the show had done a week of shows from Burbank- years before the 1972 move!

Gotta love that huge ashtray on the desk. You could smoke a carton’s worth of cigarettes and not fill it up. lol.

April 10, 1965 fell on a Saturday, so this must be from some other day or some other year. I think that set was used for all TONIGHT SHOWs originating in Burbank going back at least to 1966, and it was the first set used after the show was relocated there.

It was October 4, 1965. Sinatra makes mention of the World Series and the Dodgers victory.

4-10-65 means DD-MM as in October 4, 1965. Hence the world series and Dean Martin show remarks. I wasn’t born for a few decades but it’s obvious! :)

Mentioned @ 31:49 Dave Tebet, was in charge of making the 'stars' on NBC happy for many years.
He was left the net to run Carson Productions until Johnny retired...
