My parents passed away and I have been cleaning out their house. I'm taking their vcr that still works. They have videos of all of Johnny's shows, from the beginning. Can't wait to start watching them from the beginning. I grew up, first laying in bed hearing my parents laughint at the show at night, then as I got a bit older, was allowed to stay up some nights to watch, at least Friday nights anyway. And as a teen, watched him all the time. Love the show.

It's amazing that this is from 1976. More than 11 years before I was born. Just seeing the topics he discusses what matters during that time is just breathtaking. This was the same year my father immigrated from Saudi Arabia to America.
I was 7 when this aired. I would spend the weekends with my dad and I’m sure I saw this episode on that Friday night. He watched Johnny every night. I have such a great appreciation for the “oldies” like this because of my dad. Such good memories.
Johnny always had such great guest on his show, and this was truly a great show that night.... I love it when they show a full show.... It's a real treat..
This is truly a magical episode. The energy and enthusiasm from the audience feels palpable. Thank-You for including the original music with the "More to Come" bumpers. Bravo!
I was a little disappointed when Johnny only complimented her on her looks after she killed it with "Sam", one of the most beautiful songs from a beautiful year. But, who can blame him; she was gorgeous. Gorgeous on the inside, too.
Johnny was American style, elegance, and class, epitomized. Notice how all these men served during WWII and didn't make a big deal out if it. Hell, McMahon was a USMC colonel!!!! Boy how the times have changed.
I agree 👍 💯. The episodes have everything now! Like you said, original openings and closing, pretty much all the music and performances. It's finally happening now! The only thing I noticed missing is film clips when a guest is promoting their movie or TV show. Probably due to Movie Studio copyrights and licensing or something.🤔 Keep up the great work!
