Ive been waiting for someone to make a vid on how to wrap xgen civic headlights!! Wouldve been way better if only there was more light so we could see how you went and did those 2 parts of the light that sticks out..the top and bottom...😮💨 ive been struggling with those parts!...ive cut a slit on the corner parts and kinda fold it over...hahaha
Ehh I’m the same man 50/50 but like you said it grows on you lol, always been a fan of tinted headlights! maybe when you get your fog lights and tint em as well then yea it will look sick bro!!
It's a lot easier if you start by cutting down the sheet to a couple inches larger than the area you need to cover. Rather than just using the whole sheet as shown in the video. Just an FYI.
OEM is definitely a cleaner look. Our headlights have a pearlescent look to em in the light (which I personally like). Does the tint cover that up? Or can you tell?
It would of helped to spray down the surface & the sticky Side of the tint & squeegee out the bubbles.. well at least in my opinion. I’m getting a 16’ Ex & swapping out the stock headlights for the ones you have... love em. Will definitely add the tint on before installing😂 what % did you use?
Hey Chris I’ve been following you since you got the 10th gen, I put almost everything you put on that car , but with all those bolt on, it is good to stay on tsp? Or get a tune on a dyno?
When a buddy and I did it to his older mustang a while back we just went to autozone and got a set of 8 or 10K bulbs and it helped offset the slight loss of light, and it also helps the dim the bright white/bluish glare those bulbs seem to give off.
dude that is too dark, my first vehicle i got them darker than your and i couldn see the lights on at night (candle/low bright) i do not recommend super dark but it looks sick, i been using light smoke on my latest cars including my civic. Light smoke trust me amigo, you gonna lose a lot of the headlight brightness. thx for the video
Comment if you guys like the smoked look or OEM!!
Smoked!🖤
nah it looks nicer white cuz it contrasts the black perfectly
I think it will protect your headlights from sun and element damage. Looks good.
Love the smoked. Def suits your car imo. You shoulda recorded peeling off that top layer. I love doing that 😂
Clear looks cleaner
Nah
Love the smoked look! I have this car and am going to try it myself.
Awesome!
NICE! Wasn't sold on it until I put some on my accord! Worked well. Little easier with a heat gun, but comes out well.
If it doesn't affect the lighting at night by much, keep the tint
Smoked! Helps protect and keep clean
Clear is a nice contrast!
Just watched your how to. Mine came out ok. Couple mistakes but not bad for 1st time. I'll go back later and redo it. Thanks.

Been waiting for this tbh
that blade you used scared me, definitely use a smaller blade when doing this lol
It looks good and keep up the good work

I actually like it smoked 👍🏻 looks like a pain in the ass to do it with out taking out the headlights on the car
thats what i was thinking, removing the headlights would be easier plus you can wrap the wrap around the back edges to give it extra grip
The tinted look really cool 👍
Does it affect the lighting at night or it is the same?? Can we please have a picture of the lights on at night?
Great job btw👌✌
Yea it does affect it a bit
Clear makes more sense it will not lessen much of the light output of the headlight imo
possible to tint the rear lights. I want to tint the rear. dont plan to touch the front as will impact the light output.
Yea it’s definitely possible but I don’t think I will

The tint does cover it up, I’m a big fan of that pearl look too. I think I may keep them clean.
Even though it would be for a Tahoe w/ headlights nowhere near as narrow... Man if I can muster up the patience... TO BE DETERMINED lol....
Smoked tint ftw!

Do it both brah. It looks aggressively nice
Definitely 🔥🔥🔥
Clear looks cleaner to me
smoked!!!

The tsp tune is safe but you can maximize your power with a custom tune
Tint makes it look more from future/better. But set minds on things above where christ is 👍
looks good nice car
Only takes 5 to ten min to take off the eyebrow trim above the headlight makes it easier
Honestly they look pretty much the same. May as well not tint them on my opinion. However it would work well to protect the headlight.
why dont you get a set of 2020 headlights with the black housings which give the same effect without sacrificing the light output
Why don’t you take the head light out then tint it and put it back in?
Chris, which color tint did you get? And does it cover the DRL during the day? Or lessen it? Thankss
I got smoke black and yea it does lessen the light out put
Smoked !!!
Clear
Tint the lights
clear
Smoked!
Smoked all day
Smoked 👍
Which tint did you use on the headlight light smoked or dark smoked tint?
I used smoke!
Where’d you get your rims from?
I bought them from a local guy
What front lip you got bro? I’m looking for one for one 2020 si
That’s a real fk8 type r lip modified to fit. I have a video on it, check it out!
Did you get rid of the smoked headlights ?
Yea I ended liking the oem look better
Could somebody put a type r lip / bumper on an ex or is it too different ?
Eagle eyes asia makes a kit
Does it lose light output by much?

Could you not do wet application ?
I’m sure you could but I decided to go dry
