- Hey everyone! Today we are going through our ENTIRE quail raising process so far! We show the process of getting the eggs (from myshire farm) incubating them, hatching them (on livestream) building their A-Frame quail cage, and moving them from their small brooder to their new cage outdoors!

We got the quail from myshire farms (Jumbo quail mix) myshirefarm.com/product/jumbo...
Our incubator is from Amazon and its no longer available at the link we purchased it. It is one made in China and there isnt a brand on it. It looks just like this one so i assume its the same

We did not use any plans for this build. We just decided on a size that we thought would work well (we have 15 quail) and did an 8x12 a-frame. We just winged it and are not professional builders, but did our best with TH-cam knowledge.
It was so exciting to be part of the live stream, watching these babies hatch!! I feel totally invested in these guys, and can't wait to see how big they are. Thanks Zack and Kristi for including us in this process! And how amazing was it to watch Kristi make the cast for the little guy with splayed legs... and how he came to life!!!
I had so much fun watching those babies hatch over those few days. Never thought I could have such a good time just chatting with strangers on the internet, watching babies slowly make their entrance into the world. Pure wholesome content. 🖤

From one quail mama to the next, you guys did a great job! I'm super jealous of their coop. It's beautiful. If I can offer one word of advice for next time, it would be to put something grippy down on the bottom of their incubator before lockdown, like paper towels or nonslip drawer liners. It will keep their legs from sliding around on the plastic bottom, which will help prevent spraddle leg. But in some instances, they develop it anyways. You guys did GREAT with using the tape to straighten her out. So proud of you guys and super happy we get to go on this quail journey together!

Seriously magical, guys... I know it sounds dorky, but I really can't express what a sweet memory you created for myself and my daughter watching the quail hatch in the livestream. She'd wake up in the morning every day there for the whole process asking if any had hatched, and was so excited when there was a new baby. You did this for a lot of people, sharing the hatching like you did. Lovely update to the whole thing, as well, and lovely job with the coop.
The live stream was always so fun with everyone rooting for the little babaaaies
I love the quail coop! it’s like their own little cabin in the woods. It’s beautiful, and I’m sure the cedar makes it smell amazing.

I just want to thank you so much for sharing this experience with us. Those few days of watching them hatch, we're one of the most peaceful, breathtaking times of my entire life. I don't know what it was about that? If it was just the Joy of watching them all hatch, or all of us coming together to watch them, or all of it together, but it was just Majestic. And then watching them getting so big now and into their new home is just so wonderful.
I can't believe how big they've gotten. So thank you so so much for sharing this experience with us. I can't tell you how much it's meant to me.

It was amazing watching them hatch live and talking with so many amazing people during the process! There was so much joy and peace throughout the whole process! Their house turned out so beautiful!!! I can’t believe how big they have gotten and you can tell they are so happy. My heart is just exploding with happiness! P.S. I can still remember you guys at your old house talking about your hopes and dreams for your property and seeing that come to fruition has been so inspirational and filled with joy. From the house itself, the garden, the greenhouse, the quail and the chickens! The dreams you spoke into the universe have been coming true and that is nothing short of magical!
