- This is my complete Mod-list or modification list as of the fall 2019. Who knows what might change in a year, or even a month..? Stay tuned!
Finally, I can say that this bike is 90% complete! I feel like all these mods compliment the bike very well. You on the other hand, YES YOU, may not think the same? What would you change?
I'm especially proud of the windshield that I custom-fitted from a 2014+ MT09. That is what really separates this MT from every other MT09SP out there as of right now. Maybe someone will make this windscreen in the future, ready to go?

nice ride sir love your statement of disinterest in anyones opinion .... i agree .... recently acquired a xsr9 and love it....MT suspension makes me a bit jealous honestly lol ive done a few common "mods" like removing that mess of a rear turn signal assembly but i dont buy aftermarket parts i fabricate my own so theyre not pretty and kool looking like yours lol

Great breakdown, ditch the tank grips and cause they almost all peel and fail, and invest in techspec grips! I like the taillight but I dont have the heart to change the stock beauty. Other than that yes to everything!!!! Glad I finally found your TH-cam again lol

Nice mods! I’ve got a 2019 MT-09, can you tell me what wires you attached your license plate light to, as you know the stock one is routed on the side of the swing arm so I don’t know which wires to use with the fender eliminator installed?
Noah Stomberg there should be plugs under the seat for the light. I bought a license plate light from tst Industries 👍

Dude sweet intro! Having an MT09 also I went with the PUIG windscreen and it came with a wind tunnel test sheet which was cool.
Whats funny is I am shopping for new gear since my stuff is getting worn out. I am looking at the gt air 2 helmet or scorpion evo corpus.
For jacket/pants ive been looking for dainese but all the new stuff doesn't have the demon on the chest. What jacket are you rocking here?

I have an integrated tail light on my fz-09 mine doesn’t look like your but it is probably the best purchase ever it super low profile and everything is built in, I have almost every mod you have except the exhaust hopefully coming soon

Tom Björn hehe I’m wearing a backpack too often and will scratch the seat cowel unfortunately. As for the grips there seems to be a hit or miss and unfortunately I had a miss it seems like 🤷♂️

Front and rear r+g bobbins, engine bobbins, r+g, r+g handle bar weights, r+g alley chain guard, r+g side stand guard, r+g rear pegs block offs, a tail tidy,, also full stainless exhaust,,, which is made by black widow,,, the bike is quick,,, light, and fast and loud,, haven't got round to sticky tyres yet, but don't care if someone don't like the bike, they don't know what their missing, awesome bike, fun fun fun fun,

That windshield looks great! May I ask you if at high speed and you going stacked on top of the tank it manages to reduce turbulence and wind bagging in the jacket?
And what kind of modification you did to mount the windshield? You used the same mounts that came with the windshield?
I'm sure it does something, but I cannot feel any major difference tbh

The Akrapovic racing exhaust is so awesome. I can’t stand the rumbling present on 2cylenders people like that is accentuated with the Yoshimura. I like the high-pitched sound of the MT09 and the akrapovic will be my next purchase!
But I prefer the official Yamaha windscreen with the V shape. It gives nasty, angry eyebrows to the lights and a faux air intake like it’s big brother. I got it with the bike used so I imagine it’s expensive.

How did you get those mirrors on? I bought a pair, but the original ends have a thread and the after market ones have an expanding screw thing that doesn't fit.
I just did as you say that doesn't work for you I guess. I used the expanding screw thing myself

2017 FC09 install the following: black handle bar powder coated $18 eBay. Front levers $25 eBay. Carbon fiber slip on exhaust with welded pipe from Pep Boys $150 rear tail light with a license plate holder $16 eBay. Front TST turn signals and relay $59. Front, engine, rear slider’s complete set $100 painted front fender painted black eight dollars.

Derek Price I have not flashed my ecu with this exhaust installed. Although, if you want to maximize power from the exhaust you probably should. 👍

You did nothing to the suspension?! That's arguably the most needed thing. Oh, and get your ECU flashed because you're leaving a lot on the table in terms of throttle control and overall power, as well as per-gear power limits.
Lifted_Above haven’t gotten around to doing suspension yet. And I don’t really want to flash the ECU yet because I’ll lose all warranties on the engine. Stupid rules here in Norway 😢

@@MrDrakenhoff I was sitting across from an FZ09 at a stoplight and his intentions were to turn left, but the signal wasnt visible from the front. I forget the exact situation and I ended up pulling out in front of him on accident. He got upset with me and we pulled over in a parking lot to talk it out. At the end he agreed that from the distance I was at, TST turn signals were invisible in that light setting and that he was going to swap them out for something new.
Protons are the only flush mount turn signals, that I've seen or tried, that have been visible from the front in the day time. It's a huge difference.
So where not gunna talk about how he’s buying parts in all different currency like one or two ok but my guy said pounds dollars euros and knots how does that even work
