Karate Champ was a game that I remembered when I was a kid. It was hard to find a way to hit your opponent. It was a hard game to play and win.
I only came to watch Mike get wrecked at Karate Champ.
Worth it.

That wheel of fortune game for NES was the first time I can remember hearing a recorded voice in a video game. It says “wheel of fortune” on the intro screen.... as a kid I was like “NO WAY”! Haha
I used to play pirates for hours. I had no life.

And some point you're going to play this NES game I've been looking for for years, and I'll be so happy you helped me figure it out.. 🤣🤣. The only part I remember is you start in a house then when you leave it you have to clear a minefield directly behind the house with a metal detector. I have no idea what happens after that, was a childhood rental..
Just by when I could have rented it, it was rentable between 1989-1994 based on the ages I was when we rented games.. (pretty sure on date, who knows though)..

In Karate Champ, the fighters are so fast that they are creating after images of themselves. That's why their punches and kicks are going through their opponents' bodies. Or the game just sucks.

It's not bad at all. I have Wheel of Fortune on the Switch now but I love playing the NES one too.

Karate Champ is one of the dozen NES games I had when I was a kid and even back then I knew it sucked ass.

So, I'm very new to this whole Raspberry Pi & RetroPie thing. I am not very knowledgeable about it at all. Recently, I purchased the LABISTS Raspberry Pi 4 4GB Complete Starter PRO Kit with 32GB Micro SD Card (4GB RAM). I was finally able to get it set up and I was able to play a few games on it last night (5/26/21). The main reason why I decided to go with a Raspberry Pi was because I'm a child of the 80s and 90s. I wanted to have a system that let me play retro video games such as arcade games and console games (Genesis & SNES) from that time period. The problem I've run into now is that some of the roms work fine and others don't. I can't figure out why this is happening. I have heard that arcade roms use MAME, etc . . . Some of the arcade and 16-bit console roms are working, but other ones are not. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix this latest issue that I'm facing? Thanks.

Prince of Persia for TG16-CD , is "THE Best" version / port of the game. Best backgrounds, and, of Course they did the soundtrack proper !!!!!! :-) .... LOVE me some TG16.

This morning I had a very unsetteling dream. Mike was cutting of his arms and legs with big knives in my aunts bed (?!) while streaming. He was talking sarcastically and kind of laughing. It was really horrifying, but I couldn't help thinking it was something cool and admirable about it, like he was sacrificing himself for authenticity. I know this comment is completely crazy, but I've been thinking about that dream all day, and just felt like I had to write it
