#1 belonged to Max Schlossberg, and is the most expensive at $72,500. #2 is a $1,500 Olds Recording. #3 belonged to Wallace Roney, and is listed for $17,000 (on sale for $10,000). #6 is a Kalison Mini Trumpet listed for $3,500. He has a full video in his channel.
Number 4, is there any contest??? Number 6 is a close second! :-D Ok, seriously, the second is probably my fave, with the third one almost as good. The first sounded... clogged or something. Muted, almost.
The first one is actually the $72,000 one, the reason being that it's over 100 years old and belonged to a very famous player. Its age is also probably why its sound is a bit off
I was in the US Army in Germany. Sometimes we would play with a Russian Army Band - a lot of their instruments were legit held together with tape. They blew us out of the water - Motion of the Ocean and all that.
As a fiormer trumpet player myself, I can't imagine a $72k trumpet. I thiunk the most I ever paid was for my Meinl-Lauber 3 hole rig with crooks for modern and old tuning C & D (d, d-flat, c, c-flat) - maybe CHF8-9k. My Schilke P5-4 was ...maybe $5000?
#4 is the best imo
True
I’m a #6 fan myself
Such a distinct sound from it. You can immediately hear when a #4 is played from the quality of the sound XD
Yes
Fr
#4, the biblically accurate trumpet
Under rated
😂😂😂😂😂
I CANT- XDDDDD
Deep cut!
Lmao
That's not a trumpet, that's broken
No, it’s Patrick!
It's not broke,it's baroque
@@propandapower7633 No, It's SpongeBob!
A broken trumpet? No, a trumpeted broke
@Wesrets your right.my fault
Spoiler:
#1: Max Schlossberg's 1929 NY Bach 6L/6 ($72,500)
#2: 1968 Olds Recording ($1,500)
#3: Wallace Roney's 1980 Martin Committee ($17,000)
#4: "Seahorse" (Priceless)
#5: Midtown Brass Pocket Trumpet ($475)
#6: Kalison Mini Trumpet #16 ($3,500)
can you expand on number 4
Really! I thought that #1 would be cheap based on its sound. Is it steel instead of brass?
What, i really liked how number 2 sounded. Was absolutely sure that was the more expenisve one
@@joshua_minus_the_uaIt’s just old and played by someone classically famous.
I liked #3 the best
I think 2 has a very clear tone. I don't think it is the most expensive, but it sounds very distinguished.
#2 is a student model maybe a jean baptiste or a chinese one.
I'm a bigger fan of #3 it has a more mellow sound that matches the lyricism of the etude well. I also play the French horn so I may be biased
@@shaunbeakley348 i think it's more up to personal preference than bias, I'm ali a horn player but i prefer number 2
@@kaealos1066 Yeah I forgot it. Should I buy one?
It's an intermediate I'd equate it to a Bach. It isn't one but it sounds very similar. They do sound very nice but tend to run sharp.
Ngl, no. 4 caught me off guard 😂
Number 4 was absolutely the best, no questions asked 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥
4 is so good you don’t even have to play the right notes
@@Diamondback230🤣🤣🤣
yall tripping #6 sounds the best
It’s not about the size it’s how you use it
@@Kee9an 🤨📸
it’s because of the brasswitch
For anybody wondering the song he's playing Pictures at an Exhibition!
Thank you so much!

Promenade!
Tysm
Could literally never forget this for how bad I fucked up the solo in 6th grade💀
#3 sounds the best so I think that’s the most expensive
that is correct
#1 sounds the best
#4*
#1 belonged to Max Schlossberg, and is the most expensive at $72,500. #2 is a $1,500 Olds Recording. #3 belonged to Wallace Roney, and is listed for $17,000 (on sale for $10,000). #6 is a Kalison Mini Trumpet listed for $3,500. He has a full video in his channel.
Y’all actually care but I’m just here for the memes and biblical accurate trumpet
i think #3 is the most expensive, but i think #2 is equally as good
technically, Number 2 is because 1 and 3 are both historic horns. a copy of miles davis's strad is 3 and 1 is Schlossberg's 6L/6 Bach Strad.
Number 3 is worth 10k-15k USD
number one is
Nearly shat myself when 4 popped up
I think that number 4 had an antique, weathered, rustic tone 🤣
Is nobody gonna talk about the fullness and resonance of his tone quality
Brilliant test drive of all the models!
#4 goes hard
Aside from the tiny one and the broken one, they all sounded good. Different, but I wouldn’t say any was inherently better, even the pocket trumpet
Everyone:SiZe DoEsN’t MaTtEr
trumpet 5:🤠🤠🤠
heck yeah
#6
Promenade 1 - pictures at an exhibition by modest Mussorgsky
Didn't Animusic use this tune in their Cathedral Pictures song?
I also picked that song out immediately! @Ok
Thank you so much I was trying to find exactly this XD
If the instrument is good quality, the other is just a mental statement.
#2 was my favorite
We played this song for my freshman marching season. I still love the trumpet solo with a passion.
What song is this?
Man, one of those sounded a bit off.
Its age is also probably why its sound is a bit off
Gorgeous sound from #4
Ngl 2 has the best brightness and most clarity.
The second shot on #4 is actually pretty good ngl
#4, the most angelic sound I've ever heard
Picture at an exhibition, love it.
I love promenade! Hearing Mussorgsky always lifts my spirits. :)
I'm inclined to believe the tiny one was 72k
I can’t believe a colorful Martin committee is included in this. You’re amazing for that! Next just some jazz and we’ll be all good in the hood
I love the old castle
I was _not_ ready for #4. That actually kind of hurt from laughing so hard.
One sounds and looks the best and number two sounds almost exactly like it.
Ngl, #5 is the only trumpet I would buy… I’m a French horn btw, but i play every brass instrument.
The first thing flashing through my head is the trumpet player sliding his chair back for one note.
El sonido de la segunda fue el que más me gustó. Es un sonido cálido, redondo, lleno.
bruh we got a biblically accurate trumpet before gta 6 😭
I didn't even notice he was switching until I saw #4
Nice I love picture’s at an expedition
MUSSORSGKY MENTIONED 🔥🔥🗣️‼️🗣️🗣️😭‼️🗣️🔥‼️🔥🔥‼️ WHAT THE FUCK IS AN ALIVE ARTIST FRIEND ‼️‼️‼️🗣️🔥🔥🗣️🔥🗣️🔥🗣️😛
MUSSORGSKY is still ALIVE. his death was a COVERUP by the MASS MEDIA
I loved four. Its most accurate
Man this is giving ptsd from when I played pictures at a exhibition
Not sure all of those were trumpets 😅
I love pictures at an exhibition
#4 has such a beutuful tone to it itd like stareing over havvana lakes
#4 is the greatest trumpet ever made. It's so great one can't even put a price to it
i think number 2 sounds the best and is the most appealing
my winter percussion group is playing this right now!! pictures at an exhibition :)
if my band director saw my fingers like that i would be crucified
I love #3 for some reason. A lil darker tone
ANIMUSIC?! I CANT BELIEVE SOMEONE ACTUALLY REMEMBERS IT
#6 is the most expensive i suspect. those king miniature piccolos are really expensive
2 and 3 are my favorites, but that half flattened abomination is something I feel like I would have on a shelf if I had the money.
#4 Is how I would sound like on a small mouthpiece instrument.
Anyways, I A D O R E D hearing this song from my childhood.
❤❤❤
After listening to #4 I get how Jericho fell now
i love pictures i played it with my all state band
This solo was actually played in my marching band this year
1 and 3 sounds the most clear, with crispy tone. I would say 2 aswell, but it sounds airy. We not even going to mention number 4 😂
IDC bout this vid. The fact they played that one missourgsky piece perfectly is just lovely 💀
Trumpet 2 is the one I'd prefer.
You give off band director vibes
2 is undeniably the best
2/5 were the best sounding, except for 4 of course
if four ain’t me on a sunday
That song... That was in animusic... The memories...
No. 2 sounds the best in my opinion.
I didn’t even pay attention enough to realize this was a comparison until I heard 4😂
3 has a tunable slide and a ring that doesn’t move plus it’s has all the bell engravings
#3 literally the best
I know #1 is the most expensive, but #2 has probably the most distinguished sound out of the 6
#4 has a nice lofi textural sound
#2 and #3 sound the best to me
LIVING MILLENIUM
I was in the US Army in Germany.
Sometimes we would play with a Russian Army Band - a lot of their instruments were legit held together with tape.
They blew us out of the water - Motion of the Ocean and all that.
Can we talk about number 3 😍😍
I WAS WATCHING THIS WHEN I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ASLEEP AND BURST OUT LAUGHING AT 4
4 is the best sounding
#5 is if my shortness was depicted in music
This is a good piece, I’ve played it
What is it called?
I think #4 and #6 are the best
Number four got me dying😂😂😂😂😂
2 sounds niceee
I’m not sure why but watching this video feels like it works my chops
Pocket trumpet representation!
Funny to see this when us in Low Brass in my band are planning to do a Quartet of this song!
bruh #4 gave me the jumpscare of a lifetime
Him using the middle of his fingers to play hurts me
2 and 3 both sound really good. I think 3 sounds a bit too bright for a classical context though. 2 is the most expensive??
That’s a funny looking trombone.
He could make a hose and funnel sound good
Dr. Seuss ass trumpet 😂
Man, this just really goes to show that it's the player, not the instrument. Well... unless all you have is #4...
I played this song in concert in 6th grade. I knew I recognized this from somewhere😂

Супер!!! Юмор - 👍👍👍
#2 sound the same, but number 3 looks expensive
3 has the best tone for shure
