Its a super saturated Salt-Solution. You can make this yourself by getting water to boil and disolve Salt until nothing is going to dissolve anymore. It doesn't have to be Tablesalt, it can be other chemical salts.
Can the mini be sprayed with varnish to protect it after completion or will that ruin the frost. If it can't be protected how long is the frost expected to be effective for as some snow effects deteriorate over time. Interesting product.
Hi, I've looked at your website and the product description. Would we be able to tint the solution before applying, perhaps with your ink paints or food pigments? I'd like to not just use it for frost but crystal formations in caves etc.
Genial!!
The duration will be maximum, if left untouched. We do not recommend varnishing, as it will turn back into a liquid and the glass will have to grow back.
I'm having an issue with this product. A friend of mine bought one foe me and we instantly tested it as his place and it worked flawlessly. But back in my place the crystals simply won't form, my guess is it was something to do with the temperture / humidity in my room but I'm not sure about that.
Right. Too much cold or humidity will not allow the medium where the crystals float to dry and therefore will not grow. Try heating the liquid, once set, with a hairdryer for a couple of minutes.
How the heck does that effect happen?
Looks like flat out sorcery.

You guys are absolutely killing it lately. The kings of effects paint.
It's the best thing I've seen in a long time. You guys are the best thing that has ever happened to the hobby!

Until it thaws
Now I'm interested in seeing what would happen if you mixed the liquid forms of this and spider serum, then sprayed it and let it dry...
That is so cool, its probably a chemical like alum or magnesium sulfate. But the effect is so clean!
Vaya virguerías de productos que tenéis. Son una maravilla!! 😍
Muchísimas gracias!!
I am very excited to get some of this. I decided on a cold/snowy basing idea for my Necrons and I think this would look amazing on them
how fragile is it, would look awesome on some of my bases
WOWW! THIS IS AMAZING! Is this frost hard and durable? As I wanted to add this on a regular usable jewelry.. will this last?
Just in time for the new Space Wolves box set ❄️
Typical....I put an order in yesterday, today I see this. :(
You and me both 🙄
How is that bad? You can see how it works now.
So cool ! Next ? Fire effect ?
Does that stuff come by the gallon cause now you inspired me to make a couple of 4x8 tables worth of D&D/Frostgrave/ 40k terrain.
Excellent. At the 2:55 mark how did you make the large blue ice shards?
would a spray fixer or some sort of topcoat help with protecting the "crystals"?
How delicate are the crystals?
Hi, I've looked at your website and the product description. Would we be able to tint the solution before applying, perhaps with your ink paints or food pigments? I'd like to not just use it for frost but crystal formations in caves etc.
You can apply diluted ink to dye it.
Genial!!
Aunque siempre puedes volver a poner producto y reponerlo.
Amazing!!! Perfect to customize the Sub Zero ice effects from my Storm Collectibles
NECESITO 1 LITRO DE ESTO, ES UNA MARAVILLA!!!
o 25 litros :-D
😍😍😍 ¡No paráis de sacar maravillas!
Absolutely Brilliant and very Awesome looking.
This is interesting. Do the crystals form in the direction of the brush strokes?
It is random, it will grow where you can still find product without drying.
Woooh, that looks great! Always wanted to do a snow based theme. :D
How does it travel? Is it fragile?
Is it very fragile?
As much as artificial shrubs can be, for example.
Nice, this will help in detailing an ice wall/structure
This looks incredible but what is the durability like? What is the chemical reaction here? And can it take varnish afterwards?
The duration will be maximum, if left untouched. We do not recommend varnishing, as it will turn back into a liquid and the glass will have to grow back.
damn i can make frost weapons on a WHOLE new level, this is amazing
Your product works like a white wash with some salt grain after drying and creates no crystals at all. What am I doing wrong?
I'm having an issue with this product.
A friend of mine bought one foe me and we instantly tested it as his place and it worked flawlessly.

Amazing! Also, what is the model at 3:15? ^^ It's soooo cool!
I've waited years for such a product! :D
all these crazy ass substances are so amazing. Im kind of sad i dont use snow based bases but Mars based instead
Very cool stuff! Definitely picking some up
how is the structure preserved permanently? crystals formed by drying salt will degrade quickly from moisture in the air unless this can be prevented
This is magic, will the crystals hold up to wargaming use?
It's basically a saline solution according to their website so the crystals would be pretty fragile.
It depends on how careful you are in handling the minis. But you can always replace the glasses.
How much time do we have to wait for it to dry?
Better than in real life
Is the effect destroyed if you spray on a varnish after the crystals have formed?
If the varnish is applied too hard, it is possible that the result achieved may be affected.
@@greenstuffworld Thanks!
What songs make the crystals grow the best? XD
Yes we must know which more songs to add
So excited for this product!!
Amazing product!!....
Knocked the ball out the park there , just in time for my frozen north warband 😀
Do you varnish this afterwords?
Impressive, would it be possible to tint this with inks or pigments?
Yes, it can be dyed with care and fluid ink.
How fragile are the crystals?
Can be hardened using a little cyanoacrylate
how do you think that would look on, say, a red/orange sword or axe? For a heat effect rather than ice?
I broke a model years ago with a crystal base and this will help me finally fix it.
That’s super cool. I must have this.
Are you able to seal it with a varnish to protect it?
you can freeze and harden the crystals with cyanoacrylate glue
Very interesting, I'll add it to my list of things to buy
ouch u just shipped my order! I would have added this for sure... cool!
wow, truly impressive
Pure magic 😂 can’t wait to try it
Ok, that's cool. At first I was like :it's just thinned out Elmers Glue"...then I saw the result.
Wooooooo! lo quieroooo! 😍😍😍
What magiks is this?!😲
Que locura es esta
So awesome!
Can u incase it in resin or will crystals melt ,?
Sadly, they will melt.
I couldn't believe it could exist,wow
Does it need to be thinned down to apply it by airbrush?
No ;)
Whoooooooo this is amazing!
Aluflipando!!!
Is it okay if I spray varnish on this after? I don't want it to get discolored or something
The spray will make the crystals wet and disappear. To harden them, try capillary deposited cyanoacrylate.
Wow, super cool
wow very cool
Can this be thinned for a more subtle effect? If so, what with?
No, it cannot be diluted. You would lose the frost effect.
i must test it !
it is excelent
How can I get it? Any distributors in Czech republic?
How fats will competitors like AK, Vallejo copy it ;-)
Wow!
Awesome. Os habeis superado. Shut up and take my money!!
I think I may put a little colour or metallic paint in this stuff and see what happens.
Esto es brujería 😱😱😱😱😱
Space Wolves ..... take note of this !
Omg that's amazing
gonna get me a bottle of this.
Impressive
How!?
Can you lick the brush with this tho?
We do not recommend licking the brush with any product.
How much of this do I need to apply to get the effects??
A few drops are enough, my friend.
@@greenstuffworld I appreciate the response. Does airflow help with the effect? either speeding up the process or making a more pronounced effect?
what model is used at 3:10 ?
Wow.
what happened to the car ? it was cut XD
wow !!!!
👍😎💚
I wonder where this is stolen from...
Where ?
Genius
Thanks!!
That's f'in' tight!
my dream has come true
Awsome
Fucking impressive.
OMG!
