This needs to be challenged in the court at some point. Example, my step mother visited over Christmas from the Philippines, She stayed in my condo for 2 weeks. at no point was she the "housemaster" period under any definition of the law. TM-30 makes it also difficult to enjoy traveling around Thailand. Back when I was on a tourist visa, every time I extended at immigration, they had a hard time with their system because I was "traveling around" allot seeing all the wonderful places in Thailand and was "registered" in so many places... just because your required to register a TM-30.. there is no requirement to "un-register" you from that location so that messes up their system.

What if overnight bus journey to Chiang Rai or Phuket. Where did I ‘stay’ that night I was travelling. Trying to track every single night where millions of tourists and residents sleep is utter bow locks

First time I saw this TM30 after years without seeing any, was when I passed the Lao border after picking up a tourist visa in Savannakhet one month ago. Earlier we used to fill out one on the airplane before landing in BKK.

Per Bangkok immigration officer when I visited a few weeks ago, only the condo owner can complete the TM30. Not the real estate agent. Must be the owner. Take with a grain of salt but that’s what I was told.

What other country in the world do you have to contact the immigration within 2 days to tell them that your here, come on , and as for if your going away for a couple of days, if you have a Thai women with you, give her the money and let her pay for the accommodation and show her I.d card then you won’t have to bother about the tm 30

I have been doing it online on the APP. Buriram immigration have accepted a screenshot of the APP page saying where I am staying when I extend 30 days

The problem as I see it is that one needs the cooperation of the property owner. They have to give you a copy of the Tabian Ban and ID card, and perhaps authorize one in writing.
Without this documentation, immigration will not accept the TM30.
So, what do you do if the property owner refuses to submit these documents?

People need to understand that you follow the requirements and requests made at that particular immigration office. Done application a week later immigration comes to my place of residence takes pictures of wife myself and immigration person in the pictures of the house. Also picture of the witness house
Now waiting for call to return to immigration office for final interview All this being done does not guarantee marriage visa. I am confident l will get marriage visa as I have met all requirements thus far. Things are changing but remember your a guest be respectful

With the opinion if we go to another city and stay overnight, when we come back to our leased condo another tm30 needs to be done, if we are now deemed house master will be much easier than asking my landlord everytime (considering the online system works)

My wife and I try to fill out TM30 on line after travelling overseas each time, but the website just doesn't work, we gave up.

have been following this "tm30 thread" for some time. (if) i stay with my thai wife who rents a house long term - she is the housemaster? i stay in hotels only for a night after arrival in bkk. looks like am dodging a bullet by not trying to extend my 2 month tourist visa (north-american) at the provincial immigration office. instead i do a fly out visa run. i suppose in the future immigration may flag my passport & nail me departing los?

So you register your tm30...you are in a condominium for example...you then visit say Bangkok for 3 nights...you then return to your condominium that you are renting, do you have to do another tm30.???
