Imagine 30+ hospitals getting wiped out but it’s 3 deaths that is apparently “too far”
So true and so sad 😢
Very true.
Why does a state that has only existed for 75 years have the right to exist yet the one that was there for 1000's of years before somehow does not James?
lol I see your trying to use logic here
Yes, the 7th century settler colonists need to get the f out.

The Irish caller was on point. IT IS COLONIALISM, and colonialism does what it has always done; doesn't matter if it's 1824, 1924, or 2024.
@mohsin So you can spell colonialism. Anything else to offer or is that it?
It is absolutely colonialism. Even the very early Zionists (that is how they identified themselves as well) made it explicitly clear that their venture was a colonial venture. There’s plenty of academic work on this available in bookstores and the OUP, including in the UK.
It really is as simple as that. 🤷🏾♀️
Why is it that only Jewish sensibilities and their generational trauma matter, but the 75 years of absolute terror inflicted on the Palestinian people only an afterthought…
Why is it so many people who actually experienced the holocaust were so dead set against the actions of the Israeli State? Why do so many Jews, orthodox and otherwise, stand against Zionism?
You're ant-seme...hold on, that is a valid question...
Sad that it’s taken innocent British people dying for people to finally wake up. This should have been dealt with months ago…….
I agree had Hamas returned the prisoners
33,000 vs 3
They may be tory voters so we don't know if they are innocent 😢
It is tragic . But Hamas said they'd do the same thing that they did on Oct 7th over and over again. So it's difficult to have a ceasefire as they will just regroup. Hamas don't really care about the Palestinans no more than some of those IDF soldiers do.
The IDF said the priority would be damage rather than accuracy before the bombs even stared flying. They had no intent in targeting Hamas even if they could.

It's putting names and characters to those 3 whereas the masses of murdered Palestinians is just a number. If you remember masses of Syrians dying. I was sort of desensitized it was just numbers til I saw the picture and child was named and other pictures came through named Alan Kurdi lying face down washed up on a beech. Heartbreaking. Just think there are many thousands like that at the moment. The cruelty is unbelievable.
The (likely misattributed) Stalin quote "The death of one man is a tragedy. The death of a million is a statistic" is in full force here. It's like a kind of selfcare not to think too long on what it means that so many people have perished.
We should care about all of them. They are all human beings. Racism has got to stop. I well remember My late mum telling me colour is only skin deep we are all human beings and how true that is.
@louieberg2942 The human psyche cannot comprehend thousands of deaths (many of us struggle with just one death among friends and family), but it can understand an individual loss.

Or the investigation into Israeli hostages shot dead while waving white flags? Or the investigation about the massacre at the flour roundabout? Not holding my breath about the 'independent' investigation into the deaths of these seven humanitarians/associated workers.
Perhaps if you're looking at a more objective style of investigation, independent journalists would be able to verify those credible claims from the PRCS. Could it be that the reason this is difficult is because Israel has killed at least 95 journalists as of today (CPJ): the highest death rate in a war for journalists to-date in the 21st century?
Would be interested to know what your thoughts are around that, rather than just throwaway comments casting doubt on evidence. Are you able to question the evidence of both sides in this conflict, or only one?

Dispossessing a nation-state that never existed in recorded history is not a crime.
Dispossessing Palestinian people of land owned by them and for which they had legal proof of ownerdhip is a crime.

There is no such nation-state called Palestine. It is a myth, a lie, a nonsense, a scam, a sham, a fabrication, a deceit and a myth.
This nation has:
No King
No Palace
No Capital
No Native Currency
No set borders
No constitution
No reality
No history
No nothing
Moreover, not only that it did not exist, it never will.
And then completed by our 'great' wartime PM, Winston Churchill as a reward for funding the war effort. Churchill once described the Palestinian people as "barbaric hordes who ate little but camel dung". This country along with France were the root cause of what has happened and is happening in Palestine in the past 75 years. The chickens are coming home to roost!!!
The question that should be asked is why the death of so many Palestinian civilians had not provoked the same reaction as the death of 7 aid workers? Firstly the Israelis have not been able to spin it by claiming they are Hamas and that Hamas have been using their trucks to move about Gaza. Though give them time and they will probably come up with that lie.
You’ve nailed it as far as I see it.
This situation is different because of the following;
There were British killed
They were white
At least one of the vehicles had the missile dropped straight through the WCK logo
They were in killed by drones
Drone operators are seen as people that have a gamer approach to war
That the mere proximity to a supposed person with a gun is justification to make you a target
Have we ever heard the truth coming out of Israel?
@wendy Depends if you want to hear it...if you don't...then nothing ever changes...and perhaps that's what you want...who knows.
@chatham43 The truth can only be heard if it is spoken. The truth also calls for humbleness and a realisation you are part of the problem, together with willingness to compromise and find a solution that works for all involved. The rest is self-righteousness and hatred.
Only when Netanyahu says he won't work towards a two state solution
How is James neutral if he says he supports Israel? 🤷🏽♂️ When and how can Palestinians defend themselves? He has never mentioned anything like that.. Lol Neutral 😂

_To learn who rules over you, simply find out who you are not allowed to criticize._
James, I understand that, as a white man, you may not fully grasp the significance of whiteness and the privilege it carries, especially coming from a powerful and imperialist country like Britain. Your perspective may not intentionally overlook the realities of this privilege and its profound impact since you have never been anything but white. Whiteness often provides a sense of protection and security, which can lead to (sometimes unintentionally) underestimating the challenges faced by those who don't benefit from it. Brown babies were murdered and no one powerful enough cared.
The deaths of these three heroes have highlighted the systemic advantages that come with being a white man, particularly in positions of power. Many influential and powerful people like judges, politicians, and journalists, who happen to be British white men see themselves and their family members. It hit close to home. And now, what we're seeing is their power and influence in their narrative makes that drastic shift. It's just how the world works. The powerful do run the world. In any case, my heart goes out to their families. They were there to help.
I think he has been very obtuse about this. because he can see the privileges in other cases, but i think it might be too hard for him to process because it will change his prescribed view of the country he loves. That will be painful for him
