Hi Lift Indie Games here, one of the two devs on the game. Just wanted to say thank you for playing it, we really appreciate you taking the time. I'm sorry your experience wasn't great, we're always looking for ways to improve the game. Our intent for Early Access is not to just add levels, but to implement the community feedback as we are very, very open to ideas and changes. We are for example currently working on making the leaves blowable from any area on the map, and vastly increasing the amount of them too. It's unfortunate you didn't increase the power on the blower during your playtest, as it is a lot more powerful than the default setting which is more about subtle control. We are committed to making this the game the community wants, so all of your feedback is being taken on board. There is a 3rd person view, which is what the customization is for, but we appreciate the shop needs a lot of work, this is it's first incarnation. Other features such as the scanner are there for when you are in snow levels and it's harder to find the leaves, so it will have it's place, and we are implementing features to the bin which you win via upgrades, such as placing the bin, increasing the bin radius, and placing multiple bins. All in the works at the moment, along with drones, and other things we haven't fully explored yet. And yes, the confetti will be removed, thanks for the suggestion - it was one that bothered us as well, but we wanted to reward the player at the end of a round, but this was not the way to do it. Anyway, as I said, thanks for playing and for all the useful feedback, we are looking at all of it.
I appreciate the response here and I will pin the comment so people know your plans and when the game has more features and you’ve had time to improve it I’ll check the game out again. Good luck on your adventures through early access and beyond 👍
@@LiftGames well the i have to agree with this video just watching it is already boring -No next gen graphics (if you want this you shut already have started on this) - Leaf physics are way to stadic - locking the player to a set bound is a bad idea Also using UE5 as a marketing tool is not a good idea Because if you really look close there is not that mutch of a differents between 4 and 5 All your doing is shoot your self in the foot Ow and yes i am a environment/lighting artist with UE for 13 years so i know what i am talking about
As someone who has actually worked blowing leaves, they need to make the blower stronger and leaves floatier, they should fly all over in the air while blowing. They all look like wet leaves, which maybe they could include darker colored heavy leaves. Also needs a mechanic to pile leaves then suck them up or bag them, and I hope they intend to make maps with actual grass etc.
9:57 i'm indie game dev myself and currently making my first pc game on steam called Hell Runner a parkour game on early access. It kind of easy to solve that solution all you need to do is give player visible body. In my game you can see your arms chest legs feet. So that why i also added players customization which currently trash that i need to make it better before full release. My game also have tps mod. If you gonna have body to show in tps why not show it in fps?
Well, I'm back. Hurricane Helene swept through & there was no power for almost a week for our neighborhood. At least there was a genny handy but no hot water. ❄️ Showers 🥶 ... My dad has both an electric & gas powered leaf blower & the physics in this r way off. 😆
@@Born2Game you are correct but for the wrong reason. It's because sim gamers are braindead and don't know what an actual simulator is, nor what a fun video game is. I mean seriously, if someone told me their favorite video game is Goat Simulator or Leaf Blower Simulator, I'd assume they were mentally challenged and I'd avoid them.
What I hate about "Simulator" games is that none of them are actually simulators. They are just gamified virtual chores. And people love it? Meanwhile every simulator game is either purposefully dogshit, or unironically dogshit. Horrible graphics, boring gameplay loop, etc... What do people enjoy about these games so damn much? And I'd LOVE a game that lets me simulate running a business. But all the business sims are just horrible meme games meant for a quick buck. It's gotta be the laziest genre in all of gaming. Real simulators like Cities Skylines, Arma series, Microsoft Flight Sim, etc... are what simulators are actually supposed to be. Not a game where you go around cleaning up leaves or a game where you run around as a goat knocking people over.

I was thinking the same thing, when I saw this game I wanted to blow on pile of leaves to make them fly everywhere
Watching paint dry sim; WHEN!?!
That was released 3 years ago and it has realistic mechanics too like being able to watch the paint dry over 6 hours real time 🤣
🤣 My reply to this game was I would rather watch paint dry!😂
We're already living in simulator simulator

I'm still waiting for tax form filling simulator, a true american experience

Welcome back 👋
When I say I would rather watch paint dry I'm not joking! WTF Were they even thinking???🤣
My neighbors play this game in real life all year round, and it’s the most annoying cacophony of noise and pollution.
I’m sorry to hear that you have to put up with that all year round
If all you sim gamers would ACTUALLY do leaf blowing, roof cleaning, powerwashing, you name it, the world would be a way better place.
No it wouldn’t, it would be worse because sim gamers aren’t experienced in that field which is why we play simulators of the experience instead

why can't people use a rake and push broom?
They should start the game with small jobs using a rake and eventually let you build up to a leaf blower throughout the career
It's clear that the blowers/vacuums are not strong enough. Anyone who has seen actual leaf blowers, they are STRONG. This isn't it.
What a waste of electricity
