You've got 5 potential investors, I'm sure they are capable of understanding mitigating circumstances. Give them the figures, and then divulge the information about unreliable suppliers. If they believe in the person, maybe they give the benefit of the doubt ( maybe not for 150 grand though)

All Theo wanted to know was what sales she'd made to date. Instead of saying the sales number with a caveat w.r.t supply, she had a complete meltdown. You can have the best product in the world but at the end of the day you invest in the person above all and with an attitude like that she was utterly un-investable. If this is how she talks to people she's asking money from, one can only imagine how she talks to customers, employees and suppliers.

That still wouldn't have worked. The dragons want a definitive answer. So regardless of whether she's performed well she needed to be brutally honest and say exactly how much she has taken in sales
I don't think she wanted to say because she didn't actually know. Which is why she started blustering about different types of retailer which are totally irrelevant as it was the group sales data they wanted not a breakdown of each retail outlet.
She clearly has no head for figures and the few numbers she suggested were made up on the spot.
Or at the very least, she could've greeted the dragons when she first entered. The first few minutes that one spends with you shapes how they'll think of/approach you. Also, it's downright disrespectful not to greet the people in the room you're entering, especially if you'll be asking for their money. It just shows that she'll probably not even going to be grateful if anyone decided to invest in her idea

You're right, but if everything else seemed alright and then she makes that comment, it's probably still not worth giving up your morals to invest in her business because she could cause a lot of friction amongst her employees, suppliers, etc. with that attitude - then her company would see higher rates of employee turnover and less productivity, thereby damaging her revenue
