I feel so bad for Hunsucker. His competition was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too fucking high for a newcomer and the circumstances of two out of three of those fights were horrendously unfavorable to him. He shouldn't have taken any of those fights! My god!

Apex was the best tbh. No fans was such a great viewing experience. No crowd of drunken tards booing an extremely technical fight, being able to hear coaches giving advice, and actually hearing the impacts of the strikes.

I was going to add Kris Moutinho as an honorable mention, but I guess he got PPV main card billing instead of a nondescript Apex show. But he was still around the Ike Villanueva level of talent if I recall correctly.

I wouldn't hold anything against MMA on Point. The production values they put into their videos is top notch and a lot of the guys behind the channel helped us set up OBS for our preview shows. I think the difference is I choose to cover topics which are a bit more niche. Why be the 200th person to talk about Conor McGregor when I can be the first to talk about Big Nog etc.

Apex was the best arena imo. No crowd noise, you could hear every strike and hear the coaching.

The worst I saw I can't even remember his name. Fight was about a year ago, muscular black guy with cornrows who fought a Russian dude I think . He did not throw a single punch and was a walking punching bag for three rounds. Also barely moved and put zero effort.

Where is Alan Baudot? The French heavyweight. He was the fattest sloppiest bum to ever fight in the ufc. That's a VERY distinguished title but he’s earned it! He’s a light heavyweight with a gas tank of a sumo wrestler. Make a part two for this video and put him in it!
The apex era was wild
The beginning of the apex era was still very fun to watch even if half the fights were eh or “who the fock is theese guy”! I love the use of the apex for contender series as well. The silence in the apex was scary too you can hear everything including the commentators.
There are so many bad fighters at heavyweight. I don't know how Dana White keeps hiring those types of fighters.

Lukasz Brzeski
Augusto Sakai
Alan Baudot (lost to Porter and Parisian) HORRIBLE.
The UFC should put some kind of filter for hiring fighters.
The heavyweights are going through a bad time in terms of talent.
Sakai was slightly better then everyone else on the list, but on the whole I agree. Fat guy brawlers.
For me Jailton exposed how bad modern HW is. An undersized guy with zero striking was able to become a top five threat using only athleticism and wrestling.

Some fights were awesome because of the fights and how loud the strikes were. Poirier vs Hooker, Holloway vs Rodriguez and Oliveira vs Ferguson were all awesome
