Very happy to have found this. I've always played this game casually and I'm wanting to break into PVP. It's been a little daunting and frustrating, so this helped a lot. Thanks!
Glad it could help! Take it step by step, PvP is overwhelming at first but if you take time to master the pieces then it all comes together very nicely. 😊
Thanks, this has been really useful. I've *just* managed to hit Veteran this season thanks to Catch Cup, so I'm going to leave it there for this season, however I will definitely start to use this content to help plan for next season, and hopefully have a bit more joy. Incidentally, I had a great run in Catch Cup with Abomasnow, Tentacruel and Crocalor, which doesn't have a great rating when you build that team on PVPoke, but I guess that point you made around context, and what was available in the catch cup meta at my ELO range helped me out!
Don't apologize for being verbose. I think your attention to detail was great, and this platform allows viewers to playback at higher speeds, so the length of the video is largely in our control. =) Thanks for the help!
Hi! First thing to do is go to PVPoke team builder and add Weavile as your first Pokemon. Rate your "Team". Check the Potential Alternatives section at the bottom and that will tell you the best things to pair with Weavile. Keep in mind Weavile is very glassy so it would be best to give it some partners with high HP and defense.
I'm about to hit Ace ranking in PvP. But whichever team I bring in they have hard counters for my team. Can you help with this problem, what should I do to climb the last few ELOs.
Because the game is a blind 3 rock paper scissors type if format, it is likely to get hard countered at times as well for you to do the same back to someone else. First make sure your team is solid, no team is perfect but try to use something with safe pokemon that maybe don’t get as easily hard countered. Aside from the team, work on move counting, move timing, and those will also help a ton!
The same overall concepts apply to all leagues from this video. I do try to come out with videos like this when I can, but I need to make sure I can properly present it first. 😅
@@XehrFelroseGO it was presented very well thank you! I’ve been struggling for some time now to get past 2200 and your video might be the push I need so thanks!

I'm glad you found it useful! I hoped it would help Trainers so I'm happy to know it is. Hopefully you keep reaching higher!!
Love this kind of content, thanks for the lesson!
Huge! Super helpful
Great video Xehr. PvPoke is something i need to use more often, seems alot more user friendly on a desktop.
That's weird it doesn't include shadow by default. Never knew that
I found that out randomly a while back, glad that it helped someone else learn it too!
Thank you so much for this!
Gracias amigo!
You are awesome!

Thank you so much 😊
The list is for 1 or 2 shield scenario? And can you change it?
Defaults to 1 and can be changed in the advanced section if you want to see a different one.
@@XehrFelroseGO what do you prefer?
@@tompabompan I always look at the default first and look at individual matchups for that context.
I would like to build a team around weavile
Can you plz help me

Can we get some more of this? Its great content! Maybe try ultra league? I’ve never been able to make a good UL team that works well😭😂
