Fanatec Steering Wheel Comparison: Clubsport GT with Universal Hub vs Mclaren GT3

In this video I'll be doing a comparison between the Clubsport GT Alcantara wheel with Universal Hub and the Mclaren GT3 wheel. For reference, my experience is mostly based on Assetto Corsa Competizione. Product links:

This is a Great wheel, but I went with the club sport V2.5 wheel. Because the offerings for the V2.5 is a bit more with respect to customization especially for ACC

Are you talking about the formula V2.5 wheel? I was actually debating between it and the GT3 wheels. I like the construction and the potential for customization of the formula V2.5, but wasn't sure about going all the way down to 270mm diameter. I could totally see myself getting one down the road thought.

Not to mention, the McLaren wheel is plastic which that's a deal breaker for me

Very nice video but you are wrong about rotory encoders, they dont work left right but also as multiposition Switch So you can map each TC level to specific position.

Thanks for the info! Unfortunately by default they don't work that way, there might be a setting somewhere I need to tweak.

@@tm21simracing You can do that in fanalab by setting it to pulse. But i think you might know that after 11 months.

Nice video. I have the CSL Steering Wheel P1 V2 and think it makes to many noises, how are those two in regards to flex and noise?

The Mclaren GT3 wheel is slightly more flexible, but it's really not that noticeable. I don't think I've had noise issue with either of them.
