I appreciate your channel and the review, but I had one constructive criticism if I may? With specific regard to Jeremy Ethier and his programming, so much of his channel and this program includes concrete references to specific scientific research or studies. I love your reviews, but this one in specific falls a little flat because each one of your rebuttals was "it's not bad, I just don't like it," which is a direct quote--I like your channel so that is generally fine for me. But going forward, especially when you have someone like this Ethier guy citing study after study, it doesn't help me determine the worth of this program when, for example, your opinion of his inclusion of HIT workouts was "...it's not bad, I'm just, again, not a fan of HIT." In this case, you didn't add any reason for or against it. Rather, you didn't like it for any reason ranging from a scientific study showing that it will reduce muscle growth to perhaps you just don't like the letter H...who knows. I don't expect (or want) you to go into insane details in these reviews, but I'm going to need more than how you feel. Your experience, anecdotal evidence, studies, anything will work, just something more than a shrug and a "eh." The reason being is at this point I have no reason to think you are in a place to critique this guy if you don't know why did included something nor why you dislike it, y'know? Again, I don't say this to disparage. I like this channel and your reviews but this particular review didn't sway me either way on the program because the things you didn't like, there was no reason, which makes me wonder why you liked the things you did like, y'know? Best of luck going forward bud, you got this!
Did you ever decide to try the lean program? That's why I'm looking around at reviews. I want to purchase so bad, but im afraid of one more program that doesn't work for me. 💔
Maybe there is a bit more pushing than pulling because: Maybe because it’s compensated with the added mobility routine and prehab routine? Looking forward to your opinion.
Hey.. I've been lifting since a year and I am actually looking for an aesthetic physique.. anyways which fitness program would you suggest be best for my goals? (Jeff Nippard's hypertrophy program or The intermediate build by Jeremy Either)
Hey. Good review. Advice: If are going to say that, you don't agree with something, it is probably best to justify your claim. Give people a reason for your difference in opinion
Question for anyone that may know, but after following the program for four weeks I updated the sheet everyday and on the fourth week my macros were to adjust automatically through the google sheet however the calories I needed went up not down when I was trying to lose weight and cut deficit I was at Calories 2159 Protein 153 Fat 53 Carbs 250 Now it’s telling me Calories 2389 Protein 158 Fat 61 Carbs 317
great review! really clear and gave a good idea of what to expect for the program, I think i’m definitely going to purchase it lockdown hasn’t been kind to my physique 😂 (any other program recommendations are appreciated)
Thanks, appreciate it! Yeah, lockdown wasn't kind to any of us! I have a bunch of other reviews on my channel that go over other good ones if you want to check them out!
@@flamefox5450 I went with the beginner build program and if i’m honest he’s done a pretty good job I love how clear his video guides are on each exercise, and he provides a lot of research behind each section of the program so you know the information he’s giving is factual the nutrition section is really good also, I did struggle with his calorie deficit spreadsheet I couldn’t seem to get my calculations correct. I would say with the beginner program being this concise I imagine the intermediate program being even better so if you’re looking for a little extra guidance or inspiration i’d recommend 👍🏿
It's based on your lifting level. If you've only been lifting less than a year, then you're more a beginner. If you've been lifting longer than that and feel that you are competent in your technique, lifting knowledge, and other factors, then you're more towards intermediate at that point.
I have his program and there actually more pull exercises as push so I don't understand what you meant when you said it needs more pull volume? Theres a full day of pull plus half the upper day are pull exercises.
It's not that pulling movement like lat or row will compensate for push move. Only scapular external rotation I. ę. Corrective excercises are only real excedxises which can reverse rounding. Means devil angel, Face pull etc are key pull excercise
His mini cut is explained in his testosterone video. Simply put, the higher body fat % you are, the more aromatase in the body converts testosterone into estrogen. Now how much of a difference in a ratio of body fat in correlation to estrogen that gets converted I'm not entirely sure, but imo the time it takes for you to cut the fat (assuming that's your goal) from bulking can be spent instead by lifting heavier weights since you'll be in more of a fed state along with having higher natural testosterone levels because you've been "mini-cutting" the entire time
@@LiftingExplained Fair enough. Essentially his work out plan is probably the same as his other set up plans, but with a live person over a video call who kind of helps/guides you. I think his Jeremy's methods could work if you're either already thin and want to have muscle, or have been in that position and want to get back. I was an over weight guy and their solution to getting that super ripped shredded body was to eat more. Unfortunately all it did was make me lose weight. The only benefit was me getting physically stronger, while my looks seemed to remain. Or get worst.
