      Glad you liked the video and thanks for subscribing. We found the key to be really helpful. We will be doing a video on that in the next few weeks. We actually have two more RCCL cruises later in the year and after thinking about it have booked The Key again.

      @@debandmattchat - Once again thanks for your msg. I am bit confused about dressing.. Do they compel us to wear compulsory specific dressing !! Also, would appreciate based on your vital experience, what would be comfy clothes to carry at this time of the year...Do v carry formal clothes ?/. We are sailing next week..

    • @debandmattchat
      @debandmattchat  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@dhavallrpatel6183 Dress is generally up to you, after all you are on holiday. With that said most cruiselines do provide guidance such as no swim suits or board shorts in the main dining rooms etc. Generally theme nights, such as formal night or A tropical night, or 70s night etc are optional. Some people love to get right in to it and we have seen plenty of tuxedos on Formal Nights, but again this is optional. For us personally, we like to dress a little nicer for dinner, but for Matt that generally just means a casual button up shirt and dress shorts. Just be mindful that some speciality dining may have more specific requirements, for example The Chefs Table experience and Restaurants like Chops Grille you will want to be dressed a little nicer. Think of it like this, at home if you went to the Food Court at a shopping center, a local Italian restaurant in your suburb, or dinner at the Hilton you would always wear something different and appropriate to that venue.
      During the day, at on this cruise, Matt wears Polo shirts, Linen Shirts and T-Shirts, with Shorts and long pants sometimes at dinner. Deb, shorts, shirts and long dresses. Be mindful if cruising that your destination could change because of weather. Cruises in December 23 out of Brisbane were diverted south instead of to the Pacific Islands and North Queensland because of Cyclones, so they needed warmer clothes.

    We had our very first cruise on Quantum Feb 2023, our next cruise is Quantum Feb 2025! We loved Quantum and can't wait to get on her again - 266 days to go! 🙂 I agree, do everything you can on line/app before getting to the port. We do Jnr suite so get key like benefits and yes boarding is so fast!

    • @debandmattchat
      @debandmattchat  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It certainly makes for a much more relaxing experience. We love Quantum. The next season will be her last in Australia, with Voyager coming to Brisbane for the 25/26 season. Great point about the Junior Suite vs Key Benefits.

    im actually concerened about the storage to be honest as there is myself and my fiance and my mother in the 1 cabin, and i hang most of my clothes and i do not pack lightly, im a big overpacker so im really worried there wont be enough room for all of our clothes and 3 large suitcases and 3 overnight bags.

    • @debandmattchat
      @debandmattchat  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For experienced travellers - we don't pack light either. We had A large, medium and carry on suitcase (3 in total). The we all had backpacks and a large Bathroom/Amenities case. We had tonnes of room. Both of sides of the main bed have hanging cupboard and there is a full size chest of draws. The cupboards also have a combination of drawers and shelves. A full length cocktail dress might possible bundle a little in the bottom of the cupboard, but its not a major issue. We just release a room review video for our cabin. Be sure to check that out. When we are back on in March we will also do a much more detailed tour. We missed a few things this time around.

    Dear , one last question- Do they have a Hair dryer in shower cabin ? 😊... as i just go an email from royal and they have asked not to carry on some electrical gadgets.. like cooking,, and allied stuffs so , bit confused if they will allow Hair dryer .

    • @debandmattchat
      @debandmattchat  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes Hair dryers are available in the cabin and if it is not there, you can ask your cabin steward for one. They will very happily assist you.
