- This video is a little bit different for us in the way it is presented. Let us know what you think.
We track our day through the ship as we board Royal Caribbean Quantum of the Seas for the first time.
We have added a clock/timer to most sections of this video so you can keep track of how long it takes though out the day. We start with boarding at the terminal, move through immigration, boarding, lunch, a spa visit, a stop at the seaplex and then through to dinner and an evening walk.
We tried to remove the background music as best we could from most segments of this video, as it was playing quite loud on some parts of the ship, unfortunately that means some of the spoken audio is a little wonky, so we have provided some commentary.
This was the December 2023 Christmas Cruise with stops in Port Villa, Noumea, & Mystery Island.
We love travel and cruising and hope you enjoy this video.

i'm going quantum of the seas next weekend 15 to 22 curise from brisbane is it good i been told it's so good
Hi Bailey. We love Quantum and our family does too. We will be back on #QoS in a few weeks as well. There are so many different activities on board and the shore excursions are well organised. The food is also amazing.
ok thank you so much @@debandmattchat
I’m going on the Queensland cruise Jan 2025 I hope my teenage boys won’t be bored
@chrissymasters4987 There were so many activities. Our Mr 11 absolutely had a ball, but also missed out on a lot because rhe minimum age for some activities is 12 for teenagers. We think your boys will have an amazing time.
We have a full video coming up in the next couple of weeks that will dive in to the seaplex in more details but it is amazing for teens.
do u need travel insurance from sydney to brisbane by a cruise
Hi Ash,
We always recommend travel insurance. It's important to remember that travel insurance doesn't just cover you while you are on your cruise, but also protects your outlay before you cruise. If the worst happened and you were involved in some sort of accident before you cruise, the travel insurance will often cover cancellations etc. Obviously each policy is different, but we never leave home without it.
It is also important to remember that Medicare (If Australian)does not cover any costs onboard, nor does private health insurance and if something did happen you would want to be protected financially.

Do you know if the bionic bar is working? I traveled in May
Only one of the Arms was working on the 2023 Christmas Cruise. We believe this is still the case.
You Travel in february ?
Our next trip on Quantum will be in March before it leaves Australia..
Gday folks, do you guys only cruise Royal?
Hey there. No we have a P&O Pacific Encounter cruise coming up in March. But we also have a couple of Royal cruises booked (one of which will be a Transpacific cruise) and hoping to squeeze in a Carnival one too before years end. Still have a stack of videos from our Quantum Christmas cruise we are slowly editing together though and we just posted a video of the Family Suite on Pacific Encounter a few days ago from a previous cruise.
@@debandmattchat That's awesome, where are you folks situated? we are Melbourne based.
@@HelpingHands4Cruising @Thedownundercruisers We are Brisbane based. We checked out some of your videos. We love the concept behind Helping Hands for Cruising.
