me and my wife are obssessed with your videos! last year when we saw this video we booked our honeymoon for this year on the quantum of the seas and we are on it next month, thank you for all your content!
Hi. There was supposed to be but we found that we had some issues with the footage when we got home. We have been going to try to see if we can make something from what we could salvage but with Quantum not being here for a while we wanted to concentrate on the ships that were here and that we were cruising on. Thanks for the reminder though, we'll have another look at what we've got, especially now that we have some more editing experience that we might be able to use and hopefully put something together shortly.
Hi again and thanks for the reminder to work on the footage for part 2. After spending a few days on this we have managed to find/recover some footage and put together a part 2 which covers the upper decks. We will be posting this tomorrow (Friday 7th October 2023). Hopefully this is what you are looking for. Hope you enjoy and please give us any comment that you have on this.
Rob and Ali ❤ We love you guys and your videos! They are fun and very informative! You two inspired us to go to our first cruise the Carnival Luminosa in December/2022 and now we are going again on Quantum of the seas the end of February! We really look forward to all your videos! When is your next cruise???😁🤩👏
Hi Lili. Thanks for watching and sorry for the delay. Hope you enjoyed Luminosa . Quantum was a beautiful ship but very different to Luminosa. Since you wrote to us we went on the Queen Elizabeth for a short cruise which was a bit different but our next week cruise is on April 2nd when we are back on the Luminosa with our girls and Ali's parents. Enjoy Quantum and let us know what you think. Hot tip, make sure you book as much as you can before you go as once on board a lot of the activities are already full.
Hey Rob and Ali, thanks for these great videos. We are coming up to our first cruise and the information you have been providing has helped our confident enormously. We have two tender ports in the trip. It would be great to see more details on the tenders like how frequently they run and how long for two day ports.
Hi Greg. Thanks for watching and supporting us. The tenders run back and forth constantly all day from the first one allowed to the last one back. The frequency pretty much depends on the port and how long the journey is. If you are at one of the Australian ports where they also use the port's ferries, such as Airlie Beach or Cairns, then it's a lot quicker. Hope this helps.
Hi, i have just found out my cabin is on deck 3. Do u know if there is much noise at night down there. Thinking my cabin is near the music hall as i can see that room on the ships diagram. Would hate to have to listen to thump, thump, thump, music every night
🛳🛳🛳🛳🛳 hello Rob & Ali There's a question. During this video in the background seemed to be an embarkation taking place in the middle of your sailing. Is this a common occurrence? Same question about disembarking. We live in Thailand where Spectrum docks twice one outside the Bangkok, second Patong here in Phuket near where we live. Made contact back in 2019 with RCCL guest service,. About boarding in Singapore and disembarking in Patong. Response was that would be OK (it was a special arrangement). Looking as if it is time to make contact again and try to set something up again to eliminate the flights to and from Singapore..... At the moment we have 15 bookings between 2023 - 2024 with rccl plus 3 with Carnival Splendor. Any information you are able to would be welcomed, if not have information that is OK too not a problem. Looking forward to all your future videos. 🛳🛳🛳🛳🛳🛳🛳🛳🛳
Hi guys and thanks for watching. I think what you are seeing is people getting off and on the ship as we took this video on a port day. Because the transfer to the island was by tenders there were a lot of people either waiting to get on the tenders or getting off them and back on the ship. It is not common for cruises in Australia to have pick ups and drop offs en-route. Sailings are round trips and you either get on at the beginning or you don't get on at all. Hope this helps but let us know if this doesn't answer your question.
What cruise was you on we are on that next week from Brisbane down to Taz then back up stopping at Sydney. We have a 11 year old boy we live in NZ but British like you both is there lots to do on-board day and night?
Hi and thanks for watching. Our cruise was out to the South Pacific Islands. There is so much to do on board all day and night. We haven't made that video yet but top suggestions are Flowrider, iFly, North Star, bumper cars, laser tag, roller skating, trivias, shows, Solarium (just really a relaxing session), gym or spa if that takes your fancy, art auction, seminars, pools, table tennis. The list goes on. Is there anything you are particularly interested in?
Wow, this ship is now on my bucket list, looks fantastic. Thank you for sharing 🎉🎉
