Also Spencer's Mountain was a great one with Mr. Fonda. Her mom, her & all of her sisters were beautiful women. I've learned so much about her & her family that I never knew until now. It won't make any difference in my life, learning so much about these amazing folks, I grew up watching. It does make me feel better though, & that's all that matters to me. maureen o hara once stated that she did not believe that brian keith killed himself she said it was most likely an accident because he was very careful with his guns . Makes you wonder about the news people telling the truth huh . what a class act this lady was .
I was just reading his daughter had recently died of an apparent suicide and he’d just completed an aggressive and unsuccessful round of chemotherapy. Several of his friends thought it was completely in character for him to take charge of his death. So it’s not so far fetched to make that assumption. But we’ll never know.
Only The Lonely is maybe my favorite John Candy movie, because of her. Sometimes you wanted to slap the crap out of her, she played the mother role so well. But I thought she and Anthony Quinn were wonderful as the star crossed lovers. They were as big of a romantic story as Candy and Sheedy. That movie was pure gold. It's amazing, when watching this video, how many of her movies I now remember seeing growing up, going to the theater, every Saturday night in my home town. There are very few, if any, actors/actresses of her caliber anymore.

Very interesting video Mr. Skinner. I remember her most from her roles beside John Wayne in McClintock and Big Jake and The Quiet Man. My grandpa was a huge John Wayne fan so alot of the older movies that I grew up watching were Jobn Wayne movies.

maureen o hara once stated that she did not believe that brian keith killed himself she said it was most likely an accident because he was very careful with his guns . Makes you wonder about the news people telling the truth huh . what a class act this lady was .
The media has a financial interest in embellishing, sensationalizing and even making up stories to sell on the street corner.
I was just reading his daughter had recently died of an apparent suicide and he’d just completed an aggressive and unsuccessful round of chemotherapy. Several of his friends thought it was completely in character for him to take charge of his death. So it’s not so far fetched to make that assumption. But we’ll never know.

Only The Lonely is maybe my favorite John Candy movie, because of her. Sometimes you wanted to slap the crap out of her, she played the mother role so well. But I thought she and Anthony Quinn were wonderful as the star crossed lovers. They were as big of a romantic story as Candy and Sheedy. That movie was pure gold.
It's amazing, when watching this video, how many of her movies I now remember seeing growing up, going to the theater, every Saturday night in my home town. There are very few, if any, actors/actresses of her caliber anymore.

Maureen O'Hara is my most favorite movie actress. She was a class act and a great actress. The Quite Man is the best movie ever made and my favorite John Wayne movie. Wish we had great actors/actresses, and movies today we had back then.

I always enjoyed your presentations of the people who have passed, you go into detail which is a good thing. Maureen O'Hara was an awesome lady like a queen with a total genuine living. She never tarnished her name or anyone it seems of the people who worked with her. She worked well with John Wayne and all of their movies I love especially Quiet Man. She commanded respect in a genuine way and got it whch is rare. She was a classy lady and Jerry you are a classy guy you tell all about these people in a soothing voice and just genuine. Thank you

thank you so much for this video on the beautiful and talented Maureen O'Hara . I remember watching all her movies as a very young child . My dad and mum absolutely adored this wonderful actress. Both my parents thought Maureen was stunning in her beauty. I was too young to appreciate that at the time . However as I got older ... boy were they right . and what a fine human being she was too.
