Like every good Sybreed song, it gets better and better with each listen. :) I like the range Jon Howard is hitting here. Some of these notes I haven't heard him hit with Threat Signal.
Sybreed disbanded litereally 3 weeks before i was going to see them live. I was fucking devastated,but this.....i'm so fucking happy right now! YOU HAVE NO IDEA!
It is SO nice to hear those Sybreed vibes after such a long time! I love this kind of industrial-style metal, and I never thought I'd be able to add more of such music to my playlist when Sybreed disbanded.
While I do miss Ben's iconic cleans, I think that Jon's growls bring the harshness that matches Sybreed's style, and it's showing here. Looks like it's time to amp things up! All in all, I'm just glad that the world's best cyber-industrial metal band is back!
I wish I was a little older, I've been working on my technique so I can do the harsh stuff for a full show etc and honestly, I naturally have a voice like ben's! made me happy when I found sybreed because I found a band I could sing along to very well!
They've said they're planning on releasing a few singles every year. They might unite all the songs in a physical issue, but they won't be releasing a full album at once. At least not in the foreseeable future. Cheers! :D
I did not discover Sybreed until 2015 and part of what led me to love them was the vocals blended into the cyber style metal. While this musically is essentially the same as what Sybreed offered, and that's awesome, the vocals just aren't doing it for me. They aren't bad or anything, it just isnt what I had hoped for. Would love to hear and instrumental version.
