I think it's anti tech - as in anti Social media, and how the tech we all love so much today, is actually a nightmare because it has divided society like never before, you are constantly tracked and not to mention the shit China is doing. - Its a nightmare in disguise cause it all seems very harmless but once you learn more about it, you understand that it is a nightmare. - That's my take on it anyways.
Once again I'm not blown away by the vocals, and it isn't just that it's not Ben (which is obviously what everyone wants). It sounds like growing pains or something, like the vocals are off pitch again in certain parts of the song that should have been re-recorded or fixed post-production. I hate tracks/albums that are just instrumental but it may be the only way I were to listen to any Obsydians stuff. With that say, maybe try using the lead singer from Subliminal Fear. He sounds like he'd be right for this music (and coincidentally he does sound quite a bit like Ben).
Keep them coming boys. Btw, will you guys do a collab' with Remy from The Algorithm, the art style sounds are somewhat similar. That would make for one HELL of a banger track.

For the first time ever I'm disappointed by the synthwork. Seems kinda goofy at particular moments of the song. I mean, it's not that bad, but I was hoping for a darker vibe. Same goes for the vocals/lyrics, even tho I'm a Mnemic fan. Still better than 98% of metal today and music in general. Never stop doing what you're doing guys!
Miki Vukovic yeah exactly. I love Sybreed and Mnemic and I love the vocals and instrumentals but yeah the vocal melodies are off and the lyrics are weak.
Get someone who can present the same vocals as Sybreed did fulltime, and you basicly will strike pure gold. The lyrics are a little meh guys. Everything else is fkn good
I like the general sound since it reminds me a lot of Sybreed in the old days. I never liked Bideau though! I stopped listening to Mnemic when he replaced Bøgballe... Hes vocals just throws me off.

Agreed, vocals on both released tracks are rather disappointing to me. Sad to say I'm debating passing on Obsydians even though I greatly enjoyed Sybreed.
The vocals are great to my ears, I love Mnemic and One Way Mirror tho. The fact the song structure/riffing connects/corresponds to older Sybreed is something I appreciate really really much since I miss Sybreed and can't find any "substitution" to it; this is a great continuity imo.

Pleased as always with your sound Drop, and Bideau's vocals fit better with your sound than Jon I think. The lyrics definitely need improved though.
