I absolutely adore both versions in their own way. The new one sounds very 'digital,' and probably closer to what they wanted all along. This old one has a very dark and sinister edge to it. I think I like the screams on this old one better, but the new version evicts the nasally clean vocals. (Which are still charming!)

He wrote the first Rain song when he was 13 and started recording music with lyrics apparently when he was 14 with a vocalist that was dubbed Sin. Good stuff if you can find it, a few of the albums are on TH-cam. However, I do believe that Ben was the better singer.
I've been an enthusiastic fan since late 2021, and even after discovering there were only four albums from more than eight years ago, I listen to nothing else at this point. My ears and heart are in the past.

The Ethereal Watcher yeah I just found out about Benjamin being in Shadow Domain. A man of such talent and wide variety ov range it seems that he would find it very hard make music with other musicains. That is match his diverseity. I'm happy he is recording I dont think shadow domain is bad i just think he's made for a different sound.

I also like the old drummer better. His simpler approach fit better with Drop's busy guitars in my opinion.
