I love love love analyzing and dissecting quotes from a book because, imo, isolating sentences from a book is a pretty good indicator of how good and skillful the writer is at encapsulating themes and ideas. I personally haven't read The Handmaid's Tale but I really, really want to!
Great job, Jasmine! You are so good at this. You also make wonderful tea, I just got my first shipment today and it's beautiful and tastes great. Thank you so much!
wow love you analyzed this and relate the quotes from a classical to today's themes! even tho I haven't read the handmaid's tale, I do feel (for what I know it's about and context) it still has some issues that even today can be relatable
This has made me want to do a re-read! I loved this video, it works so well to analyze the book! Also, please can you make the 'let's get critical' dance a full-time feature?!
Your opening was amazing lol I have this for my English exam for A level tomorrow, and this really helped thank you !!!

"Better doesn't mean better for everyone" reminds me a lot of Animal Farm's "all animals are equal but some are more equal than others".
Right?! It's an eerie quote!
