    I liked your build. In the old days, there was no sure way to prevent silvering, so the pro tip was to trim decals very close to the design. I would usually separate those four pieces of the upper wing crosses and apply them individually. Nowadays decals and setting aids are better. You did a nice job hand painting that canopy frame. I think more modelers should do that and wean themselves from relying on aftermarket mask sets.

    If you're having trouble with silvering, put some clear gloss on the area that you know the details going this will help prevent silvering, and then you can go back over it with a matte finish

    There’s always method to the madness lol I always make a mess with a kit If I paint them on the sprues
