2015 Triumph Tiger 800 XRX long term review 35k miles

An honest review of my tiger 800. I got the bike in early 2017 with just over 7k miles on the clock, I am now at 35k. I would say my biggest gripe with the bike is the servicing costs, I can do the 6k service myself easily enough but the 12k service is costly at dealers.
As mentioned in the video she does use a bit of oil, but this is within the acceptable tolerance and there are no oil leaks or smoke on start up. As I am used to it i reset my second trip computer every 1k miles and top with about 500ml semi synthetic oil.
Overall though it has been the most reliable bike I’ve ever owned and I trust this bike 100%. I am part exchanging against a new tiger 900 in the next couple of months but I am tempted to keep this one as a winter bike. We’ll see!

Hi Kev, I can’t remember the exact model but it is an SW Motech bracket. It is model specific to the tiger 800. 👍🏻
