@@CaptainProx if they made the lightning ball overhead I would be okay with it being like minus 12 on block as well rather than being safe like it is now
Rain main here. Rain may seem kinda poopy at first but once you get his combos down you can combo most anything into geyser and if you practice his air game you can get some pretty big damage off with the cyrax cameo. He's really a lot of fun and worth learning.
Rains issue is hes a zoner but a slow zoner lol if they buffed the start up on that low pool hed be nasty. With cetrion she had that hell fire which was tough to deal with and ground pound. Rain doesnt have alot of tools to actually keep u off of him so hes more of a space control versus zoner
Tbh I want his standard projectile to be faster instead. The low portal and sky bubble don’t come out if rain gets hit. But his BF1 does every time, it’s just a matter of getting the move out The Portal is supposed to be a slow move at 54 frames, but Rains standard projectile being 34 frames while most other characters having 19 frame projectiles is where he really gets out classed
I don't think he's bad just needs to be a bit faster his strings have some gaps in them. Mainly his long range needs to be faster as currently despite being a zoner he gets outzoned by majority of the roster
@@phantomyt1791 that helps a lot but still, if Rain is advertised as the main zoner of the game he shouldn't be outzoned by anyone with a projectile. I can see his zoning being sped up a bit all around but the gaps in his strings will probably stay to keep it fair.
@@Tyrineal his water shield on paper is what gives him the edge over most characters zoning abilities The only problem is the moves that don’t count as a projectile like Kenshis full screen overhead, also Reikos 3 hitting Shuriken completely counters Rains 2 hit absorbing water shield

0:26 right off the bat, the name for his 1-1-2 string should’ve been given to Peacemaker for obvious reasons. Why they gave it to Rain of all characters is beyond me.
RAin with SUb-Zero Kameo is great, he has the Ice Shild for projectiles to stop counter zoning, the shoulder is good for getting distance, and Freeze can setup longer combos and also with getting some meterless damage too.
Im a Rain main, and his biggest issue is lack of good hit confirms and, most importantly, slow moves and buttons. His forward 3 is so slow that doing it point blank is a death sentence. His best ranged string is forward 2 3 into special but once people realize they can block low almost exclusively against Rain because his launching overhead is so reactable, he struggles more, his strength is his unfamiliarity to most people. He does have good kameo synergy and set ups, so while i dont think he’s terrible and is pretty good, i do think he’s INCREDIBLY match-up heavy and will lose more often over time. He’s easily outzoned and armor just destroys him
@@WWMK05 Sub Zero is really good with Rain, as is Frost for 50/50’s and easy extensions. You can also use trap mid combo against an opponent frozen on the ground. Cyrax is really good too. Stryker is decent with Rain for pressure, but not damage or anything else really, easily the weakest of four mentioned
@@Henry-iz7iv I might have to try them. Do you think Jax would be good with ground smash and his grab? Out of all the years I've been an MK Fan, I've never been so interested in Rain as I am in this game, his movement and animation is unrivaled, has good mixup combos, good damage with the right kameo and has good zoning moves, aside from his slow startups and below average damage, he is a super fun well rounded character worth trying
I don’t know what the average damage is in MK1 but I doubt Rain is below that Even if he is he gets a lot of his work done via hard to block setups so to me at least it’s like he has 60+% damage combos
Y'all are thinking of him as a normal player playing him. if you spam rains best moves and mixups you get an easy 100% combo for free that a braindead pinecone can do 💀
10:06 I haven’t played the game yet, so I’m scouting who I want to play when I eventually get it. Currently Rain is my number 1 pick cause of his portal setups and drip, but I have a question for the rain players though. Can you do an overhead while the puddle is setting up on knockdown to get a true overhead/low mixup on wake-up?
If rain is bad, then sub zero, tanya, havik and katana are atrocious. Rain is not bad, y’all need to stop saying everyone is bad just because they aren’t the best character in the game like smoke or kenshi.
I've been maining Rain for the last week or so and basically what I've gathered from multiple youtubers and just general experience is that, while a zoner his tools are a bit on the commital side since they're so slow. A sub zero Kameo can cover him by granting him anti zone armor (rain's water shield is on the slower side and gets stuffed by certain projectiles) Sub zero also has the ability to offer Rain a difficult to block set up as well. Dash cancelling his projectile in strings offer some form of pressure up close. You can kara cancel the first hit of his overhead into a throw (something I hope they don't remove) but this, as well as the overhead in general is slow and can be interrupted by a quick d1. On certain occasions if you've placed an ancient trap in front of rain and recover in time to block an incoming jump attack you've gotten yourself a free combo. A full charged waterball garuntees a j 3 2 or a rain god. You can special cancel the first hit of the 211 string, this can change some combo properties depending on your Kameo. I.e. cancelling the first hit into a sub zero freze leaves them grounded for a free f 32 but canceling the second hit if 211 (the ocerhead) will leave them frozen in the air, you can set up a fully charged waterball from here. Some of the best Kameos I've seen work with Rain include Stryker, Cyrax, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero, but most options work with him
@@SpecialOrder935 yeah I agree, his biggest weakness if his stubby strings. That being said his d 3 has some pretty good range and decent speed. Otherwsie I know some rains use raw geyser to poke from mid range
Hey Underdawg, I’ve been a fan since late mkx days. I really would like you to cover the glitch between P1 and P2. Using Sub Zero you can only get ice clone to catch out of the air if you are P1, P2 just won’t combo. The first huge bug that left me sour.
For anyone that thinks rain is bad try him with goro or motaro. For goro his overhead grab summon compliments rains low strings to start combos. During combos you can setup a unblockable stomp and end the combo with rains air projectile to threaten any movement if the stomp hits you get a free whirlpool hard to blockable setup You also get the same setup off a back throw goro stomp set up. Lastly you can cover your water port with goros ambush for plus frames this also applies to ending any string into geyser goro ambush for plus frames compliments Rains slower frames. With motaro you're able to use his portals more often due to MOTARO ambush being a teleport that places you behind your opponent. Also you can't get zoned out with MOTARO having a projectile reflect. Ending any combo into geysers motaro teleport leaves you with very plus frames. You can combo off his standing 4 with a motaro ambush without charging and his air projectile with motaro teleport. I know this is a lot but basically GORO covers rains weakness MOTARO double downs on RAINS strengths
Scorpion and Sub Zero are rightfully his most popular Kameos, they do about most of everything you mentioned and more except give him plus frames… Rains not punishable but he doesn’t have many moves that give him advantage to continue aggression. But the setups and neutral advantage Sub and Scorp provide outranks everything else imo
@@zuberi17 scorpion is absolutely one of them, you don’t even use him for the overhead that’s just something that’s nice to have You use scorpion to combo off his armored move, get meter less combos, and to initiate his hard to block setup like you get with SubZero. The Setup is the main thing that’s too good to pass up on Max combi damage alone you can get about 42% with him
@@CaptainProx my thing is he doesn't give you tools to open his opponent up combos are only as good as when you can actually hit your opponent and scorpion doesn't seem to do that you get the same setup with goro and you can can actually call goro mid combo for the unblockable or from a THROW. I'm not saying neither of them aren't good but goro is the best imo
From what it looks like, I think Rain is supposed to be a little slow in some areas but it’s the pushback that makes him feel safe on block. The only thing I would like is making his whirlpool trap come out faster, it’s a cool trap but the start up doesn’t make it viable for combos outside of having a kameo assist. Maybe his water bubble can stay out a little longer but I think it’s okay.
He’s supposed to be slow with his projectiles, that’s why he has a water shield. The only problem is zoning attacks that don’t count as a projectile like Kenshis full screen overhead His bf1 and F3 could be a bit faster imo
The trap is meant to be used as a setup after a knockdown and not directly in kombos. After any kombo with a good knockdown, set the trap under the opponent and go for his overhead on meatier... Instant 50/50 situation on wakeup and breaks armour too🤷
@@michaelu3055 okay that’s a valid point, I guess I’m still trapped in the MK 11 mindset of all projectiles are either fast or have a lot of block stun.
Even Scorpion allows him to get those consistent hard to block setups. Plus Scorpion gives him 20% on his armored reversal and an overhead to mix with!
Been trying out a few different characters and Rain is defo one of my favorites. I love the mix ups he has and with sub zero kameo, the combos are really fun to pull off
He’s not bad at all actually. The problem is most people are comparing to the insanely good rushdown rain in mk11 that was high tier in that game even with the nerf. In this game people try to play like that and when it doesn’t work they instantly label him as a “trash character” he’s not trash he’s just different and takes a bit of getting used to. In this game, rather than being a rushdown with explosive damage he’s a ranged based mix-up character. Rain tips: before laying a combo try using the teleport move todo a hit and run cause his combos aren’t very safe so you want to get out of the action pretty quickly. You should also take advantage of his whirlpool move, it has a long start-up but it’s very difficult to react to and it’s a pop-up so you can do some sick combos with it. (I just wrote a whole documentary about this character for you, please use these tips🙏🏻😭
Rain can get 41% with Scorpion for 1 bar and half the kameo gauge. Also try using him as a rushdown. It sounds stupid but it catches the opponent off guard very often
I actually like Rain, but it takes a lot of time to get used to. I am still used to Skarlets moveset from MK11, which means that I always do the wrong move with him, since his special moves are a little different. I also don't like that he doesn't have like a slower forward projectile, like Skarlet did, but I get that they didn't just want to do the same thing. He is fun to me (as a casual) but I still have to get used to his moveset and play him more. I also miss Ermac, I hope he'll be released not too long after Omniman.
I feel like if you want to zone with rain, Water Shield needs to be your best friend. It has a 1 frame start up. Honestly, that means it should be used on reaction. So, shield up then zone offensively. His water shield doesn’t need to be quicker, because water shield can act as a buffer .
I just started to learn rain because water mage idea is sick… and I accidentally found out him and Darius make a 50/50 nightmare. I even got an overhead low on the same frame
My biggest problem with rain is that why do low projectiles hit him while he’s in the air for this thunder move. Especially things like sindels, liu kangs and especially things like scorpions hellfire move.
imo his biggest weakness is absence of advancing normals (outside of f2, and it's not one of the best in the game). like in mk11 (just in slightly another way) Rain has issues with pressing, maybe gimmicks with projectile/portal can work a bit, but again you have to work much harder than all other characters
2:10 that is for 50 50 setups end close combos with it then do your overhead combos they block low overhead they block standing flushed down the toilet
If it is -6 or below it is safe. The fastest button in the game is frame 6 and frame 6 buttons are incredibly rare in this game. Standard is 7 frames so anything -6 or below is mostly safe
Rain/scorp is A -A+ imo. His zoning is okay but for a "premiere zoner" he can still be outzoned by certain characters. He lacks a quick mid and his portals are really gimmicky. Ive got a setup with a portal but can be countered once someone gets use to it.
I like to use Scorpions Ambush Assist to act as a human shield for Rain and then counter with low portal for full combo😂 it’s surprisingly effective He has a decent Mid at 13 Frames, it could be quicker but I just wish it was a bit further reaching
Honestlt he seems like the fun kind of zoner. He's got some tools up close but is way better far away. And many of his projectiles stagger the opponent and you can start a combo which seems fun. I need to learn Rain but for now i'll play some more Liu Kang
We need Prince Rain's redemption arc in mortal kombat 2 and he needs to be playable in story mode 🙏🏻💯 I'm really happy Rain's mother Amara is alive in this timeline 😱🥺🥰 👑💜👑💜
Underdog, you read every comment right? I hope, did you know that Africa currently has no online for mk1? Server fixes are needed there and the devs haven't even given not one response to the many times they've been tagged. Isn't that great
Rain isn’t bad but he needs a kameo to enable his zoning. While his charged projectile is decent for catching jumpers, it doesn’t absorb when you meter burn and it’s still a high. His whirlpool can’t be used in combos, you can catch people with it and get combos from it which is fine but it is really slow. His shield doesn’t last long enough and I think it only destroys one projectile. So rain can then be out zoned by sereena unless you decide to pick a kameo that enables your zoning. He’s not good with crumples bc of the weird hit boxes and gravity scales a lot afterwards. His portals are ok I guess but having to set them up just feels like a lot of effort for a move that doesn’t last very long and has a slow transition. But he has good damage, you can get mix with him, his down 3 is ridiculously good, and he has a cool set up with sub and frost. Like I said, he’s not bad but he really relies on his kameo to help him out.
@@mixtapex7319 yeah I think water shield should last a bit longer, it’s so hard to make use of it and your zoning when it goes away so quick EX projectile does considerably more damage but yeah it’s not really worth a bar…I think it should either come out super fast or maybe reduced the amount of charge needed for the combo extension

@@CaptainProx The BF1 is 35 frames on startup. I think it should be more like 25 and EX'd should be like 15 if it's going to remain a high. For example, Tanya's fireball is 15 normally and is a mid when EX'd and destroys incoming projectiles. I honestly think his Rain God lightning ball should be an overhead as well. It's slow enough on startup that I don't think it would be overpowered but as it is now it doesn't feel super useful in his overall kit
@@CaptainProx if they made the lightning ball overhead I would be okay with it being like minus 12 on block as well rather than being safe like it is now
Your projectiles shouldn’t be unreactable, that would make him broken.
Lol. True you are blowing our (rain mains) cover we dont want people to know he is actially good! Then everyone will use him lol
Rain main here. Rain may seem kinda poopy at first but once you get his combos down you can combo most anything into geyser and if you practice his air game you can get some pretty big damage off with the cyrax cameo.
He's really a lot of fun and worth learning.
Yea a lot of people saying rain bad but I most people that cross my rain take fat Ls his combos are easy and his mix up game is strong.
Rain main here too, scorpion is an amazing kameo too
I recommend Stryker. Them restand then corner pressure is chefs kiss. And the projectile cancel combos.
His watershield needs a big buff. Needs to stay out longer. Either that or make it so it adds meter if it absorbs a projectile.
I agrée with this 👌🏾
This is buff and maybe make his stand 4 a mid
That's what I said, if someone is just spamming their life out, this shield would not be helpful
I found shield has another purpose when I was fighting rain. I couldn't see what buttons he press clearly when he used it
@@kaktwozx1819 What other purpose?
Now this is the content I subbed for 5 years ago😊. Great job dawg
But his BF1 does every time, it’s just a matter of getting the move out
The Portal is supposed to be a slow move at 54 frames, but Rains standard projectile being 34 frames while most other characters having 19 frame projectiles is where he really gets out classed
I don't think he's baaaaad, but cwertainly needs some buffs. Some speed on his low projectile would be nice.
.............................................Bruh. He is so damn strong. I have no idea what anyone is talking about.
@@ralphwarom2514fr bro I’m not understanding the hate on rain. Maybe he’s just a harder character to play maybe that’s why
@@Cyoppsthey want everyone to be braindead

@@Cyopps naw he's my main, it's literally just his speed and low damage without a Kameo.
Love your videos. I like being able to see everything possible for the characters. At first glance I'm not interested in Rain, but he looks fun now!
I don't think he's bad just needs to be a bit faster his strings have some gaps in them. Mainly his long range needs to be faster as currently despite being a zoner he gets outzoned by majority of the roster
THIS
Using subzero cameo for ice amor helps
@@phantomyt1791 that helps a lot but still, if Rain is advertised as the main zoner of the game he shouldn't be outzoned by anyone with a projectile. I can see his zoning being sped up a bit all around but the gaps in his strings will probably stay to keep it fair.
Rain doesn’t have a lot of long ranged normals, which wouldn’t matter all that much if his projectile and normals weren’t so slow
@@Tyrineal his water shield on paper is what gives him the edge over most characters zoning abilities
The only problem is the moves that don’t count as a projectile like Kenshis full screen overhead, also Reikos 3 hitting Shuriken completely counters Rains 2 hit absorbing water shield
Thank you for not just parroting what everyone else says. It's refreshing to see someone do their own research.
Rain is so awesome
👑💜
the ppl that say Rain is bad are probably the same people that don't know his f3 overhead is cancellable into a throw.
People that say Rain is anything other than decent are the same people that hold block when he is doing all his fake portal pressure gimmicks and dont know anything about the character.
@@Exeeter1234 just sayin, u know...
I'm not sayin he's OP or anything. ;)
0:26 right off the bat, the name for his 1-1-2 string should’ve been given to Peacemaker for obvious reasons. Why they gave it to Rain of all characters is beyond me.
Bro your a genius why did they do that it makes so much sense
RAin with SUb-Zero Kameo is great, he has the Ice Shild for projectiles to stop counter zoning, the shoulder is good for getting distance, and Freeze can setup longer combos and also with getting some meterless damage too.
I’m 96-70 as Rain. But I can feel how bad he is up close, it’s rough
He’s easily outzoned and armor just destroys him
Yep Sub-Zero and Mataro Kameo will complete screw Rain pretty bad. I’m still trying to figure out the best Kameo for him 😢
@@WWMK05 Sub Zero is really good with Rain, as is Frost for 50/50’s and easy extensions.
I was thinking about him and I was definitely also thinking about Shujinko but he’s the biggest wild horse considering it all depends on the character the opponent is playing and what he takes from them but then again Shujinko is always going to take a long time to use for anyone starting to use him
Out of all the years I've been an MK Fan, I've never been so interested in Rain as I am in this game, his movement and animation is unrivaled, has good mixup combos, good damage with the right kameo and has good zoning moves, aside from his slow startups and below average damage, he is a super fun well rounded character worth trying
I don’t know what the average damage is in MK1 but I doubt Rain is below that
Even if he is he gets a lot of his work done via hard to block setups so to me at least it’s like he has 60+% damage combos
@TrueUnderDawgGaming please make a buff sub zero one. Lord Liu Kang knows he needs it
Y'all are thinking of him as a normal player playing him. if you spam rains best moves and mixups you get an easy 100% combo for free that a braindead pinecone can do 💀
Got a notification that u released a video and it was the best thing ever
10:06 I haven’t played the game yet, so I’m scouting who I want to play when I eventually get it. Currently Rain is my number 1 pick cause of his portal setups and drip, but I have a question for the rain players though. Can you do an overhead while the puddle is setting up on knockdown to get a true overhead/low mixup on wake-up?
It is a unblockable set up if timed right the 2 kameo that are good for rain are sub zero and cryax.
Rain will fall upon you like daggers from the sky
💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧💧
I LOVE ALL your videos.. I play both reptile and scorpion. Your reptile guide was AWSOME.. Please can you make a scorpion guide??
some cool rain tech shown! You can also cancel you forward 3 into a throw + you can do an air combo out of teleports!
Sonic fox just won the east showdown with rain the statement is invalid
If rain is bad, then sub zero, tanya, havik and katana are atrocious. Rain is not bad, y’all need to stop saying everyone is bad just because they aren’t the best character in the game like smoke or kenshi.
I've been maining Rain for the last week or so and basically what I've gathered from multiple youtubers and just general experience is that,
while a zoner his tools are a bit on the commital side since they're so slow.
A sub zero Kameo can cover him by granting him anti zone armor (rain's water shield is on the slower side and gets stuffed by certain projectiles)
Sub zero also has the ability to offer Rain a difficult to block set up as well.
Some of the best Kameos I've seen work with Rain include Stryker, Cyrax, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero, but most options work with him
He does get some nice damage , but I didn’t like his buttons , not enough advancing strings for me
@@SpecialOrder935 yeah I agree, his biggest weakness if his stubby strings. That being said his d 3 has some pretty good range and decent speed. Otherwsie I know some rains use raw geyser to poke from mid range
@@kameronnguyen9077 2112 is a good string by my fingers don’t like it 😂 , I’m weird not very adaptable

😂😂😂 I don’t know why my mind went there but it did.
Scorpion and Sub Zero are rightfully his most popular Kameos, they do about most of everything you mentioned and more except give him plus frames…
Rains not punishable but he doesn’t have many moves that give him advantage to continue aggression. But the setups and neutral advantage Sub and Scorp provide outranks everything else imo
@@CaptainProx sub yes scorpion not so much because his summon overhead is easy to react to
@@zuberi17 scorpion is absolutely one of them, you don’t even use him for the overhead that’s just something that’s nice to have
You use scorpion to combo off his armored move, get meter less combos, and to initiate his hard to block setup like you get with SubZero. The Setup is the main thing that’s too good to pass up on
Max combi damage alone you can get about 42% with him
@@CaptainProx my thing is he doesn't give you tools to open his opponent up combos are only as good as when you can actually hit your opponent and scorpion doesn't seem to do that you get the same setup with goro and you can can actually call goro mid combo for the unblockable or from a THROW. I'm not saying neither of them aren't good but goro is the best imo
"when it rains it pours" is probably a 50cent reference
You can kara-cancel the start up of F3 into a grab for a 50/50 also.
From what I've seen he's an overhead water machine.
His projectiles need to be faster that’s the only problem with him honestly
I don’t know if rain is terrible because I’ve lost to a few amazing rains
you can also cancel his first overhead ( centrifugal force) into grab iirc
From what it looks like, I think Rain is supposed to be a little slow in some areas but it’s the pushback that makes him feel safe on block. The only thing I would like is making his whirlpool trap come out faster, it’s a cool trap but the start up doesn’t make it viable for combos outside of having a kameo assist. Maybe his water bubble can stay out a little longer but I think it’s okay.
He’s supposed to be slow with his projectiles, that’s why he has a water shield. The only problem is zoning attacks that don’t count as a projectile like Kenshis full screen overhead
His bf1 and F3 could be a bit faster imo
The trap is meant to be used as a setup after a knockdown and not directly in kombos.
After any kombo with a good knockdown, set the trap under the opponent and go for his overhead on meatier... Instant 50/50 situation on wakeup and breaks armour too🤷
@@michaelu3055 okay that’s a valid point, I guess I’m still trapped in the MK 11 mindset of all projectiles are either fast or have a lot of block stun.
6:12 I love that we’re still making jokes about classic vines.
Let’s not forget his nearly 80% unblockable restand combo (requires sub zero kameo)
I did learn something! I learned just how bad I am at fighting games. Thank you
your way better at explaining things than the actual devs in the kombat kast!!
Please do Baraka next 😁😊
I wish he had the hydroplane move back from mk11. I loved that move for punishing and was surprised how I never saw it in high tournament play
Can you play as shang tsung because i am training with him in game currently and he is pretty difficult to play.
Am I the only one who got rekked by him in story mode...?
Rain is amazing he's also the only character that his overhead can animation cancel into a throw and his projectile cancel extends combos
My biggest problem with rain is that why do low projectiles hit him while he’s in the air for this thunder move. Especially things like sindels, liu kangs and especially things like scorpions hellfire move.
hey can you make a video about “the most fun fighters netherealm ever made” sounds like a fun idea
After you complete these for everyone will you make your own tier list???
There is so much sick and creative stuff you can do in this game. It's so much fun 😊
He can cancel his overhead string into a grab
I think he’s pretty dope
When you're getting bodied in the corner it's entirely impossible for rain to meter burn anything out
How do you time air combos i keep dropping them. You make it look so easy
Pleaaase do one of these for Sindel! :D
imo his biggest weakness is absence of advancing normals (outside of f2, and it's not one of the best in the game).
like in mk11 (just in slightly another way) Rain has issues with pressing, maybe gimmicks with projectile/portal can work a bit, but again you have to work much harder than all other characters
2:10 that is for 50 50 setups end close combos with it then do your overhead combos they block low overhead they block standing flushed down the toilet
The projectile is so slow tho. Need cameo to help it seems
Do one about recent Sub-Zero plz
I see you saying -5 is safe and similar things quite often. What's the threshold between safe and unsafe?
If it is -6 or below it is safe. The fastest button in the game is frame 6 and frame 6 buttons are incredibly rare in this game. Standard is 7 frames so anything -6 or below is mostly safe
Where's the Fatal Blow? 😅
Rain/scorp is A -A+ imo. His zoning is okay but for a "premiere zoner" he can still be outzoned by certain characters.
He lacks a quick mid and his portals are really gimmicky. Ive got a setup with a portal but can be countered once someone gets use to it.
I like to use Scorpions Ambush Assist to act as a human shield for Rain and then counter with low portal for full combo😂 it’s surprisingly effective
He has a decent Mid at 13 Frames, it could be quicker but I just wish it was a bit further reaching
Do people actually think rain is bad. He’s my favorite so far but I’m kinda biased cuz he’s always been my fav
Underdawg hit us with the 50/50 special moves/strings and we fell for it
Honestlt he seems like the fun kind of zoner. He's got some tools up close but is way better far away. And many of his projectiles stagger the opponent and you can start a combo which seems fun. I need to learn Rain but for now i'll play some more Liu Kang
Who's better. New or classic Rain?
I like rain really fun especially with air kameos like Sonya
We need Prince Rain's redemption arc in mortal kombat 2 and he needs to be playable in story mode 🙏🏻💯
I'm really happy Rain's mother Amara is alive in this timeline 😱🥺🥰

Hes not bad, just needs a speed buff. Anything else is fine. And i played a lot of Rain 💯
I don’t mind. I love #Rain.❤
Rain is op as hell, I don't even know how to deal with his wake-up 50/50's
"He's a zoner, he's not meant to be good up close" - meanwhile JP in sf6
Underdog, you read every comment right? I hope, did you know that Africa currently has no online for mk1? Server fixes are needed there and the devs haven't even given not one response to the many times they've been tagged. Isn't that great
I've been a Rain main since day 1. Mage characters have always been a favorite of mine, and MK1 Rain is just perfectly that.
A very evil thing you can do with Rain is that you can cancell the overhead into grab to trick people
Rain isn’t bad but he needs a kameo to enable his zoning.
All he needs imo is his BF1 projectile to be faster and F3 to be a bit quicker…that’s it
Also his Water Shield absorbs 2 projectiles
@@CaptainProx decent changes but I would include a better ex waterball. Either a mid or it absorbs or both. And also a slightly better water shield.
@@mixtapex7319 yeah I think water shield should last a bit longer, it’s so hard to make use of it and your zoning when it goes away so quick
EX projectile does considerably more damage but yeah it’s not really worth a bar…I think it should either come out super fast or maybe reduced the amount of charge needed for the combo extension
