both a proud Arianator and Lovatic but I got to with Demi on this because of how powerful her voice is. Ariana's voice is so sweet and serene and belt her heart out but Demi's is more powerful. Only good thing is that they're both able to hit the whistle register

No on can even deny that Ariana has an amazing voice and she rarely, close to never sings off key, but Demi's voice is just so raw and pure... it's so strong, she's a powerhouse vocalist so I prefer her, and she's such a badass 😍 but they're definitely two of the best young singers in this generation!
None of them are better. Both of them are strong and beautiful women. People should stop comparing beautiful people with other beautiful people. They both have amazing voices and I cry whenever I hear any of their voices cause their voices are strong and beautiful. They are both winners!
Thank You!! This video shows that 2 women of different vocal ranges can still sing their asses off. You don't have to have to hit notes like Mariah Carey or have a soul Shaking voice to be a good singer. You just have to know how to use the voice you were born with. I really love both singers! They are both really good! But, TBH Demi is better live because she has good stage presence. She tries to connect with the audience. But Ariana is also really, really good!

why nowadays everything's about high notes I can't understand why it is the most important thing for a singer to be really good
I feel you especially when they are literally straining. Demi can't support anything over C5 and Ariana has occasion support up to C5 as well anything about that they are straining. It shouldn't be how high you can go it should how well the high note is executed with proper support and openness which determines who's the better vocalist.
DEMI
Demi lies a very strong foundation for her to release a powerful array vocal runs. She's far more experienced than Ariana and has way more control. Demi also has incredible range, doesn't lack power in chest and head voice. Though she sometimes sets her larynx up high which makes it seem like she is screaming though this is usually when she can't hear herself.

Ariana vs Demi vocal battles are always the hardest ones... They're both so amazing it's incredibly hard to pick. Demi's voice is soulful, can hit high notes as well as low notes, and is beautiful. but Ariana's is also soulful, high, and beautiful. Ariana's is more clean and sustained, Demi's is more natural and rough around the edges but can also sustain beautiful high notes. To me, the two are completely different and hard to compare. Honestly this one would be I decidable for me if Ariana could do what Demi could do. It all comes down to what each singer can sing. Ariana only has one kind of music and sound she can sing, but Demi can do many and sound different so I pick Demi.

Few years ago i didnt even take their singing seriously. Now they have improved so much and i cant agree more that they're one of the few of excellent young singers today.
I prefer Demi, i think she has more vocal control and a stronger range. Also Demi gives more emotion. Ariana can go higher than Demi and she has good range but not as big as Demi.
They're both great singers anyway :)
