We're growing Providers and they are still producing. And they are delicious and no, they can't ever grow too many. Will grow more of them next year 🙂

Hi Tina, I managed to get my Bush Beans planted in August. Hopefully I will get something from them before Old Man Winter arrives 😊.

With your help we are now harvesting a 2nd strong flush of our pole beans.
After our 1st flush the top 2-3' of the plants were decimated from Japanese
Beetles and no blossoms anywhere. We hit them with some bone meal
about 3 weeks ago. Blossoms all over and have already harvest 6+lbs
additional beans and still coming. You gave us the tip on using bone meal
to promote blossoms 2 years ago. YUP, and still works! TY

Sounds like you hit them just right, letting them flush after the beetles moved on rather than giving up... Great job !

We are looking at adding a few of those "containers" to the bucket garden.😀. My carrots were a bit flimsy this year, not sure what we did or didn't do to cause that.

I absolutely love your videos. I live across the mountain in Burnsville, NC. Is there still time to plant more beans here? The groundhogs got our last crop.

Thank you Tina, for the video. We just moved last year from NJ and we try to adjust to the new type of Gardening zone -7A. I assume that we live in the same area...If you would be kind to tell me when is safe to start the beans this year?? When is the best time to start planting outdoor. Thank you. May God bless you and your loved ones!

Wondering if you were planting two seeds per hole? I've seen it reccomended to plant two beans per hole and then thin out the weaker of the two if both germinated. I planted a fall garden of both beans and peas. I'm hopeful that I will have a better harvest than I did in the spring.

We only plant 1 seed per hole, then replant only where seeds didn't
germinate. You'll use far less seeds this way. They grow fast and
will catch up. This way your only using a few more seeds, instead of
snipping 70-80% of what you originally planted. Hope this helps. 😀

How is it that your garden never seems to have too much potassium? I used a balanced fertilizer and the soil test showed not to put an potassium for 5 years. I used the same amendments you use.

    • @BumbleBeeJunction
      @BumbleBeeJunction  2 ปีที่แล้ว

I am not sure why your soil would be increasing in potassium... Your fertilizer should be in a ratio of 2:4:3... The numbers may be higher, but the ratio should remain the same...

love your channel but you never show the progression of different plants like the tomatoes you planted
