There was a game called True Crime; New York City on PS2/X-Box/Gamecube that was a 1:1 scale version of Manhattan (all 28 sq mi). It had every street and subway system. What's even more impressive is the previous game, True Crime: Streets of LA that featured 240 sq mi of Los Angeles. It literally took 30 miles to drive from the beach to East LA. I had the game memorized so well that I didn't need directions or a map when I visited. I literally gave street directions to people. It even had the LA convention center where I attended the computer graphics conference. It happens to be the largest 1:1 game world based on a real location.
It's crazy to think how for its time GTA IV was thought to be a realistic depiction of the NYC but now comparing it to the said Spiderman its version of Manhattan looks ridiculously small.
I thought this video was from one of the top tier channels. Then I saw you have 179 subscribers (which is still really impressive). Keep up this quality content! Awesome work! :D
This video scratches exactly the itch I had on how NYC is depicted. Never set foot in the states so I was curious to know how they generally morphed the city. The area estimations and the fact that the general geography has been kept - those points were so helpful. Great video! Can't wait for the steam download to finish and find out myself how NYC looks. :)
U put a lot of work into this. I could tell this really meant you and u didnt just make it for the sake of making a video. Its beautiful. Keep on it man👍🏻
If i was like 9 years old and play this after seing the original spider man, my life was complete. Awesome city so beautiful, the details are other level
Yeah keep uploading please don't stop you have the support of every single one of the people subscribed to you I love your content please don't stop I'm surprised that you don't have 200k
i thought he had like 200k subscribers or something. then i saw his subcount. I really liled the video dude. Keep up the great work. I hope you get more recognition. earned an sub from me :)
I wish Rockstar Games would just go on and make an exact replica of an actual New York map like this game did, their version of New York just look so small.
I think it’s just about 4 square miles at least. Wonder how it compares to size of all Liberty City islands in GTA 4 put together tho. It’s at least 4 times the size of Algonquin given the measurements in both games but i dunno if it’s larger than all 4 islands combined.
They seem to be more interested in money and consoles market share than pleasing the fans. F**k the fans should not be a way of thinking. Shame this world sucumbed to greed

Chris that's awesome! You understand what I'm talking about even more than me! I definitely will have to check those out.
Now do it with new york and a spiderman game.
Both classic games spend more time on true crime la but they both banging
True Crime was amazing, a true competitor to GTA that sadly didn't get the mainstream recognition it deserved.
This is a wonderful made videos, i was surprised when i saw it has low views, amazing job keep up the good work!
They definitely raised the bar on open world cities.
I didn't realize u have only 134 subscribers cause your content is very good...
It has to be crazy if your home city is in a video game and you may can see your apartment ❤

Man, you deserve a million subscribers.
Wonderful Commentary!
Well this video was deeper then i expected it to be! but that is a good thing, i like to be surprised.
Your POVs very much resonate with why I am into games off late.... I am trying to get to play Marvel spiderman in VR . Wish me luck
I learnt how to find my way around Shibuya in Tokyo from playing The World ends with you. They should make more games in real locations
179 subs??? underrated yet the content is better than 90% of my recommended feed, keep it up!!
That means a lot! Thank you!

Your motivational speech was mind blowing👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks so much!
You need more subscribers these videos are really high quality.
You deserve more than this.
Best Video I've seen about this topic☯️
Great video
You know, it would have been also nice if they included free roaming around Queens, just like in the Ultimate Spider-Man game for the PlayStation 2.
Wonderful video.
watching this today as pc release is near xd
your video quality is so so good
noice video❤❤
I really wish I could go to the Brooklyn in this game
i thought he had like 200k subscribers or something. then i saw his subcount. I really liled the video dude. Keep up the great work. I hope you get more recognition. earned an sub from me :)
Wonderful production! Keep it up.
NGL. I would love is they could give us a Spider-Man game with real size Manhattan. Or at least half.
I learned the NY and NJ area from flight simulator.
This video is epic and beautiful! Thank you
I wish Rockstar Games would just go on and make an exact replica of an actual New York map like this game did, their version of New York just look so small.
It will loose it's details then..
1:25 that’s unsurprising
Really good content but very underrated.. don't worry you've got a new subscriber
I wish isomanac didn't cut off the top Manhattan.
So it’s basically 3 Central Parks in real life
very good video man, im just getting this game now to spend time free roaming whislt still in self isolation. Andy
Doing a great job my man!!
You never played witcher 3 or rdr2 or gta 5 that's why you are so excited.
if the next gta is in liberty city I hope it will be like this or bigger, and with those graphics.
It’s not it’s gonna be in south beach Miami
why does this only have 94 views?
mans made me cry
Im subbed idk how u only got 150 subs and youve only donr this for 2 years?????????
I think it’s just about 4 square miles at least.
Wonder how it compares to size of all Liberty City islands in GTA 4 put together tho.

I like this video essays
How do you only have 600 subs???
First time watching your video and i'm just wow
Great job man, keep up the hard work ♥️
for the actual video, skip to about 2:35. Didn't come here for your school project for why you like spiderman so much lmao
Nice opinion!
I wish they would release this game for pc.
And Xbox
They seem to be more interested in money and consoles market share than pleasing the fans. F**k the fans should not be a way of thinking. Shame this world sucumbed to greed
@@tonichaforever Why blame them when you can just bought PS4 instead of Xbox in the first place?
@@andikoazri don’t be toxic
Nice vid
Liked and subbed
The quality of these videos is surprising for its size. I'm subbing. (69th comment woohoo!)
Much appreciated! Thank you!
I don't get it... wasn't it 4.6 square miles?
Is it possible for you to do death stranding..? Awesome work tho..
How the hell did you have less than atleast 1K subs?
Hopefully the new content coming out soon will help!
I wish there was a map of London with this much detail. Watch Dogs Legion came close but the map is just so lifeless and empty...
It's actually 6 sq mi, pretty cool right???
you have talent; this is a-grade content
Not using the map makes swinging around even more awesome
5x smaller let's see what the difference.lets test it.
what happened when you go to the edge of the map? Can you pass through it?
Is it possible to port the map into UE4, so that anyone could use it as a base for web-slinging in fanfilms?
Haha, I'm definitely not the right person to ask about that. I wouldn't know where to even start in UE4. That would be super cool though!
Yo what the fuck man! You should deserve more! TH-cam is a bitch. Don't worry I'm on your side and subcribed
Miles morales < Meter Morales
Better than gta
Swing is useless compared to dashes
What i would do to be spiderman.
