I always come back to Spider-Man especially when I am having a panic attack and turn on "you say run" from MHA and for some reason for me it's therapeutic because I use it when I'm having an anxiety or panic attack and it helps almost every single time. My favorite thing to do is go to the park and do the challenge there repeatedly until i get gold on every single difficulty. You may be wondering why I'm mentioning this, but simply because of what it does for me personally. I also enjoy swinging around trying to take cool pictures lol.
I found the boat people pretty early on. It was actually one of the very first things I did in the game. That's just because I played Spider-Man 2 on my PS2 for God knows how long when I was a kid. I easily played that game for at least 1,000 hours, needless to say, I messed around with a LOT of different mechanics. One of those was swimming, because of Spider-Man 2, I always check every Spider-Man game I play almost immediately to see if I can swim. Since you can't swim in Spider-Man 2 though and you have those missions where you rescue people from sinking boats, I got really good at swinging out and landing on boats far away. I started doing a lot of that kind of thing outside of those missions to practice and mess around. Using boats and helicopters to make it to the statue of liberty. When I first started Spider-Man PS4, I almost immediately checked to see if I could swim and started trying to land on boats passing by. I managed to land on one and proceeded to chill on the boat and sail around with these guys for a few minutes while I laughed at their design.
One thing I REALLY enjoyed when playing this game after completion was using the photo mode. I would spend countless hours creating cool shots and poses to capture. It was pretty easy for me to pleasure in making my own “art.” Just a suggestion to those who are looking for more ways to enjoy the game after becoming bored. :)

There's sort of an extra dodge move that the game never tells you about. After you dodge with circle, press X immediately and if you time it right you do a bigger dodge animation instead of just jumping straight up. Definitely saves you from getting hit when you need to create some space between you and enemies. Not sure if this is already common knowledge but as far as I know it's never addressed in the game.
@@MikeHeldTheWorld I think the 1st game teaches you it in the first fight in the street against Kingpin goons but it's also in the Moves list as "Long Dodge" (or maybe Extended Dodge).

This is also one of the 'secret' stylish ways you can get a perfect dodge. You can also get them from a jump off attack (square then X) or by doing a ground slam from mid air (above a certain height hit square and X). Most obviously, there is also mid combat web zips. I thought everyone knew these but I posted this on the SM Reddit and from the responses apparently not everyone does!
Did everyone just forget about being able to build meter by pulling off a perfect attack? Or did they not know? And I don't just mean normal attacks. I mean during takedowns and stealth takedowns as well. I've known this since it came out. All you have to do is time the perfect attack correctly. Instead of the normal attacks color, you'll get the blue attack color. It works for almost any attack in the game. And yes, as I stated, takedowns and stealth takedowns as well.

@@AstralMuffin105 Yeah. It builds meter pretty fast. It doesn't work for the web up stealth takedowns. It does work for 2 sneak takedowns. And you can use it on regular takedowns as well. It'd be awesome if in the sequel they make it to where you can actually get into a train full of people. And they could make comments about you as Spiderman. But it'd also be a great opportunity to have a hidden boss where you get on a train. You think you're just taking a ride home.. until an enemy comes out and wrecks the rails, leaving you to have to save the train before it falls down like in the Ramiverse Spiderman moment. It'd just be a nice touch.

Hopefully again!! When Spider-Man 2 is out and Venom being the main Villain this time I’m really freakin hoping we get the BLACK Raimi suit along with all the other film ones including hopefully the TASM2 Garfield suit..
Black suit is my favorite and Hollands Black suit just isn’t the same.. Imo the Gold kills it for me.
Idk how many people know about this but when you stop crime side mission with stopping the car just wait till the cops get close to you and jump high and web stomp the the ground and the cops will start flying like someone through them 😂😂😂it’s really funny trust me
I can’t do those sneak take down missions put on from taskmaster

I don't think harry will be venom
On Spider-Man for PS1 there’s a basketball court you can score a basket and earn a max health. So cool!
This was great timing because I just got my PS5 a week ago and I'm working towards getting a Platinum trophy for the first Spider-Man game then working on Miles Morales :) having a great time!
Jealous wish i could experience it for the first time again lol
It's a bit of a grind to get, but it's well worth it! Just don't forget to visit Uncle Ben 😉
Got around to playing the DLC and i was so happy to play this game again. The combat, the controls, the graphics, the writing, everything I love. Definitely one of my favourite games of all time
Mine too 🔥
Amazing game. Big respect, Gameranx and Falcon!
Spider-Man 2 easily had the most complex swinging system.
Its spiderman miles morales not spiderman 2, they don’t exactly think of it as a sequel
@@fidaniiiiii0 he's talking about the 2004 game
@@jairlacotera10 OOOOOOOOHHHH 😐
How is it complex?
@@DantesVoid had really good pendulum mechanics so you could gain much better momentum from timing your swings and were punished for swinging at the wrong time.
The Spiderman games are just great! Really enough to buy a PS5 for.
Which game is better?
The venom boost is one of the most fun mechanics of the game in Miles Morales.
Faster is not always better.
The traversal mechanics in Second Son just didn't hit that feeling like the older games and Spider Man
Agreed
It would be nice if we could swing faster tho
Tf are you saying? The gameplay in second son is pretty good, especially using neon, video and smoke to travel. Each one with it's unique ways to get you to a place

4:51 Actually, sometimes, if you’re lucky, and have the electric web equipped, if you aim at the turret, you can see that the symbol for electric web is highlighted. That’s how I found out
That basketball thing makes me wonder if you can pull an Overwatch Basketball trick, where you stick something onto it, then launch it. I REALLY wanna try it with a Trip Mine
Trick shots!! Yes!
+1 I like you
This game is about as close to perfection as you can get for a Spider-Man game
Insomniac's games are just too well done
The Spider-Man and Arkham verse have the best stories and will definitely get replayed until I die.
One thing I REALLY enjoyed when playing this game after completion was using the photo mode. I would spend countless hours creating cool shots and poses to capture. It was pretty easy for me to pleasure in making my own “art.”
Just a suggestion to those who are looking for more ways to enjoy the game after becoming bored. :)

These games are such an User friendly dream games. Making an automatic backup at EACH MISSION so you can play it differently is just incredible for this kind of open world collect em up. I love this.
When i had the infinite mega venom blast glitch for sm: mm i used it to absolutely decimate enemies, and when i used it is the rhino fight at the beginning of the game, i ended up doing too much damage so instead of triggering the cutscene and beating him, he just fell to the ground and died so i had to restart. I did this several times before it was fixed btw
Not only is this game insanely easy to platinum it makes you want to do it I love it
I started to play again just from today 😌😌
What a coincidence you guys uploaded a video today 💫
Perfect
Those two games just make me smile. They never get old!!
Spiderman 2018 is easily the best superhero game of all time for me.
Amazing game but I wouldn't say that it's the best SUPERHERO game of all time
@@keeganmayers6925 it's okay if you have a different opinion, for me it's easily the best one out there.
Im completely new to the spiderman experience and Im loving it so far.
I've been doing a trick, i don't know if a lot of people do this but to easily clear a wave of enemies, i use suspension matrix and wait for a few second then throw web bomb. Always works like a charm
nice use personally never saw use for that myself so interesting to keep in mind
For a person who to this day still does not have a PS4. I am so excited to play this when it comes to PC!
Literally just ordered a Ps5 today that comes in 2 days can’t wait for the fidelity upgrade
Dope video! I knew all of these except for the turret electric web trick, absolutely amazing
I'm so glad PS5 had a separate trophy list. Gives me an opportunity to hop back in and get another plat. I could always import save data but I'd rather do it the fun way.
These TH-cam auto generated chapters are getting scary accurate.
I just got a PS5 a few weeks ago, and Miles Morales was my first game purchased. I finished it last night, and it was amazing. I can't wait to start NG+

The game does teach you this but thank you for sharing again for those that might’ve missed it.
@@ledzeprulz When exactly does the game tell you about this? I've played it like 5 times and it's never mentioned as far as I remember.
@@MikeHeldTheWorld I think the 1st game teaches you it in the first fight in the street against Kingpin goons but it's also in the Moves list as "Long Dodge" (or maybe Extended Dodge).
Idk how many people know about this but when you stop crime side mission with stopping the car just wait till the cops get close to you and jump high and web stomp the the ground and the cops will start flying like someone through them 😂😂😂it’s really funny trust me
This is also one of the 'secret' stylish ways you can get a perfect dodge. You can also get them from a jump off attack (square then X) or by doing a ground slam from mid air (above a certain height hit square and X). Most obviously, there is also mid combat web zips.
I thought everyone knew these but I posted this on the SM Reddit and from the responses apparently not everyone does!
I never knew there was a way to reply missions in the first Spider-Man! I can’t wait to replay all the boss fights, thank you!!
coming here because of the announcement to get re-hyped.
Fun little add into the air tricks, miles can fall and skid across the ground if you don't stop tricking before hitting the ground
Loved finishing this game
👌🏼
Unfortunately, I have never played the Insomniac Spider-Man game, but I have heard it was absolutely excellent.
Idk how many people know about this but when you stop crime side mission with stopping the car just wait till the cops get close to you and jump high and web stomp the the ground and the cops will start flying like someone through them 😂😂😂it’s really funny trust me
I knew about the timing for basic attacks, but not for stealth and takedowns.
@@AstralMuffin105 Yeah. It builds meter pretty fast. It doesn't work for the web up stealth takedowns. It does work for 2 sneak takedowns. And you can use it on regular takedowns as well. Including the special 2 meter takedowns. All of the the 2 meter takedowns. Including the Gatling gun. And of course all the air takedowns as well.
@@Cloudx0x Huh. That's good to know. I'll have to remember that for next playthrough. Thanks for the info, friend.
@@AstralMuffin105 Yeah no problem. I never see anyone who plays the game doing it.
Love how you can see the avengers tower, Wakandan embassy, sanctum Santorum, and so many other marvel Easter eggs in Spider-Man. I hope they make a shared marvel gaming universe
Not really sure you can call those Easter Eggs, the game goes out of it's way to point them out to you with the Landmark feature.
Switched from xbox to PS5 just to play the spider man games, and I really was not disappointed they are amazing games!
It'd just be a nice touch.
yeah but not every time you get on a train though
Maaaan I hope these come to PC one day, but that feels extremely unlikely
This video has tons of insight and legit turtorials...wel done falcon
SM2 looks to be incredible and after the first 2 games I am super freakin Stoked for it! Harry Osbourne as Venom! Kraven coming back! Damn!!
All I’m hoping for with 2 is that I FINALLY get my freakin Black Raimi Suit (It’s my all time favorite and I was sad when it didn’t get added but all the other suits was just fanfare done right) AND Since it’s Insomniac I’m hoping for like a Mission or a side quest like Taskmasters to be there for WOLVERINE since he’s now part of the Universe.. I hope he debutes in SM2 and then His arc can lead right into The Wolverine game..
Love Insomniac for this.. can’t wait for the Universe to expand more.
Love the way Miles just swings through the city without a care in the world.

The web zip spots you'd actually unintentionally stumble upon if you do a lot of web slinging as opposed to fast travel. And also you'd discover the web zipping under water towers if you engage in any of the Screwball challenges.

awful game for not being on PC
That basketball trick is a fun thing I need to try the next time I start this game.
This makes me realize how much I actually have played and know this game.
Spider-Man has been around for a while now, and one thing I have yet to see is, the fact that you can "collect" newspapers from the red color daily bugle newspaper receptacle thing. I accidentally found that out one day not long after it came out when I was just walking at street level interacting with people
This game hits just like spiderman did as a kid as it was one my first games ever it's truly amazing this came back
Marvel’s Spider-Man was my first PS4 game and I got a platinum trophy. I really enjoyed it. Then, I got a platinum trophy for the Miles Morales too. can’t wait for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2!
Dude, I never get bored of playing Spider-Man. I haven't 100% either of them yet, but I love playing the missions, and just swinging around. Zipping around as Spidey is ridiculously fun, and this is one of the few games where I actually like finding the collectables. Hell, in the first game, my go-to Spider suit (the Dark Suit) is obtained through collectables!
Btw, for Miles, my fav suit is the Winter Suit. It's not the most visually-appealing suit out there, but what makes it my favorite is how you obtain it. It's a trio of side-missions, and when you actually obtain the suit, it's such a sweet and wholesome moment. Also, it just tickles me to watch Spider-Man fight bad guys while wearing earmuffs, a beanie, and a scarf over his suit. lolz.
Oh yes, I'll definitely play this game again just so I can spin in a different manner this time. Brilliant.
