Just bought one here in the U.K. Lunar silver Sport. Great spec even the entry level gets Honda sensing .Sport Touring in the U.K. Is called Sport Plus.

I just hope when the Type R comes here (I'm in Canada) we get something close to the machine that's been in the UK. (Canadian vehicles are over-regulated for a market of 35 million people... lots of awesome cars never get here because our stupid laws make it financially unsound for a carmaker to adapt a niche vehicle to meet our ridiculous regulations!)
There are 2 additional speakers in the C-pillars, they are easily overlooked by ALL TH-cam reviewers.

Yeah the Sport Touring does come in Manual 6spd transmission. My cousins will be arriving later this month here in Ontario Canada.
Thanks for adding that... I've been saying that in reply to different reviewers on TH-cam as well. I've done a test-drive on one, I know for sure it exists! Interesting that I also live in Ontario... maybe we FINALLY are getting a premium variant of a car before some other places!! :-)
You can get the Manual only in Canada with the Sport Touring. We don't get it in the US, unfortunately
Can the red lighting of the sport touring instrumentation be converted to Blue ?

I own a 16 civic touring and I think for the price that I paid it should have heated steering wheels or even cooling seats. When will Honda be carrying this? Anytime soon?

Really amazing car. I tested the sport this week and fell in love. The regular sport doesn't have the bells and whistles I would prefer for a newer car so the touring is the way to go. I was quoted $29,175 msrp then add dealer package ( tint, wheel locks, trunk tray $549) and add the tax and fees and title stuff = $33,118.83 for a civic?! I'll have to wait a few years for a used one to come along. I can't justify spending double msrp from a basic 2016 lx. No other complaints though and I look forward to getting one in a few years.

Totally agree that this price is really getting up there for a Civic, and just wait until the Type R comes out! Some ppl say nobody will pay as much for a Honda Civic as you would for an entry-level BMW (and it's getting pretty close now). I totally get that logic, but if I compare this car to a base BMW 2 Series and ask myself which I'd rather have in my driveway, personally I want the fully-loaded Civic Hatch. Two different cars, of course, but my point is I think there is at least some market for ppl who a really nice Civic.

I'm pretty sure the regular sport has the duel exhausts hidden just under the skirt of the rear fender. Too bad... I love that center exhaust. (Not sure about the moonroof... someone else can comment on that.)
Both the Sport and Sport Touring in the USA have center exhaust.

I Crav3 Your Honda Man Type R will be out in hatchback at some point this year, yes, but I thought Honda said that the Si will only be available in sedan or coupe... not hatchback for the Si. I may be wrong, and I hate to spread incorrect info (Honda Man... you would know better than I do... pls correct me as necessary), but I thought that's what had been announced...? (I want to be wrong on this... I would love to get my hands on an Si in the hatch!)

I don't understand this... every review (from both Canada and the U.S.) I see online says there is no manual transmission on the Sport Touring Hatchback. I just did a test-drive of a manual two days ago at my local Honda dealership in Ontario. Maybe the manual version is new out there, but this video is only 8 days old, so I don't get it. Honda Canada's website clearly says they've got them too. My dealer says they've had them for a couple of weeks. Maybe for a change, we got a nice car variant in Canada before it released in the U.S. (doesn't usually happen!). So, fellow manual fans, don't give up hope yet! And BTW... this car is simply amazing in the manual. (I'm sure the CVT is nice too, but I wouldn't drive an automatic if it was the last car left on Earth.) Now I have to decide whether to buy this, or to wait for the Si or the Type R. Decisions, decisions...
And just to be clear, the one I test drove was definitely the Sport Touring... I triple-checked the badge on the back, because everything I'd been watching said there was no manual. But there definitely is now! (At least in Canada... hopefully elsewhere soon too.)

Only the look is different. It's the same casting. In fact, pretty much any Civic or Accord wheel will fit, as long as it clears the brake calipers, as they have the same bolt pattern, hub size, and offset.

MT is available on the LX and Sport; EX, EX-L and Sport Touring are only available with CVTs.
In Canada, all three trims are available with Manual Transmissions (without the Honda Sensing Suite, except the ST where it's standard)
Strange that premium fuel is needed to reach full hp. Honda brags that none of their cars require premium fuel. So which is it? Premiumnor not?

Premium fuel for maximum power, the EX-L Navi does not have leather seats, or turn signals on the outside mirrors. The stereo is the same as the Sport Touring ,except less power, no Center channel in the dashboard, and the trunk mounted subwoofer
Base Sport is about $22K, Sport Touring $28-30Kish. Honda recently announced that the Type R will be $35K, so it might be there, or slightly higher. So must be between $30-35K
Note that the L in EX-L stands for Leather. (No power passenger seat, though). The audio system has Navi, but with the regular 8 speakers / 180W vs the 12 Premium speakers / 542W in the Sport Touring.
