Very educational & informative. It's great to see the full runs covered & I look forward to seeing more of these kinds of videos in the future. Thanks for sharing your time, knowledge & passion. Much appreciated!
This was one of my favorite videos you’ve done in sometime. My favorite is still the time we sat outside the comic book store and just gave away your Batman collection. That one will always be hard to top.
Did someone say John Byrne?🔥🔥🔥I love you going through the runs of these series so I can learn the keys. Some I know and some I didn't. Always love videos that inform and educate!
The Perez art on the Black Widow story in Marvel Fanfare is gorgeous but there are a lot of other issues which are worth little yet have equally good art and story; Fanfare is an often ignored title that therefore can offer the discerning fan excellent value. Super-Villain Team-Up is notorious for its publication schedule: late in its run it went to quarterly and then annually (although there was never a SVTU Annual as such) - yes, we had to wait a whole year for a regular newsstand comic (#16 May 1979/#17 June 1980, that's a hell of a cliffhanger). The Sienkiewicz run on New Mutants: big thumbs up. There's some lovely Barry Windsor-Smith art in the early issues of Astonishing Tales. Looking forward to the next video on this collection James.
Had co-owned a store when X-Factor came out..put back a lot of copies of that sure to be hit...X-Factor ! :-)....when I first started collecting in 1970s Peter Parker #1 was just out...picked up multiple copies at used book store I frequented that sold their comics at 6 cents @....good days...
As a completionist myself, I love this!!! Interested to see the grades on the Spectacular Spiderman and Eternals. I'm still trying to complete very high grade runs of both.
Hey James, i was a little kid and they called my tix number in a raffle for PP spectacular 64,....but i was too shy to go up and claim my prize at a Comic Con years ago
I read somewhere that the astonishing tales 8 is the first doom meeting mephisto. I have it but mephisto is not named. If you read it let me know if you think it is.
I have full runs in chronological order. Keys are fake, they aren't rare, people just make up reasons to ask for high prices. A real key marks pivotal shifts in the saga that no one actually reads.
New Gods > Eternals Also, I thought Bill Sienkiewicz is “sin-KEV-ich,” but even some Poles would disagree. More like “syen-kyev-itch.” Polish immigrants got anglicized in the states. It’s a Polish surname tho. The “w” is like an English “v” sound and the “cz” is like an English “ch”…
Those SPLATT books are really weird, individually they have more value than as a set. I've picked up multiple sets, all submit-able for $100 a set, its bizarre.
Love this kind of content going through full runs showing which ones to look out for. 👍

Midnight Man was actually in the show, he was the rich dude that Laila knew, but the actor died in a skiing accident before the show even came out :(
Such an awesome collection. Love the full runs! I’m working on a bunch of my own, then I’m going to read them in date order.
A lot of those Marvel Fanfares have amazing back cover art too, I think (which is why they're a part of my collection).

Always appreciate the history side to these runs - thanks my Friend!
Been appreciating the channel after coming across it earlier this month. Hope to come by the shop.
I usually find the art of Bronze Age covers too busy for my taste, but some of the KA-ZAR covers with MAN THING stories are pretty cool.
Nice video. I have a Mark Jewelers variant of several of those New Mutants issues including 86 and 87.
I'm going to be honest. I'm subscribed to few and I thumbs up even fewer....this video was a thumbs up easy. Love these types of videos.
Awesome! Thank you! I really appreciate that my friend!
Great vid dude! I picked up eternals 1 yesterday also! Not the run lol.
I love videos like this one. Thanks!

My fav of the batch is the Astonishing Tales!
Video was interesting and educational. What a great idea for a video!
If you go back I’m missing like 15 books from the silver surfer 90s run. I would definitely pick those off you
Wow! That's amazing! Congrats!
Thanks! Big videos to come later that’s for sure
did you know that KA-Zar #1, cgc recognizes it as kraven app, also has first cameo of president nixon, buzz aldrin and neil armstrong
Can’t wait to see these on the live sale
Hi James later this year I'm going to come and check out your store love what you do hope to meet you in person...keep hunting
You too man! Hope to see ya there
Just a short jaunt from England to Jersey 😂
Nice pickups. I'm still looking for my NM #98.
Go for it!
Awesome as always James!
Thanks my man!
Wow those kazar covers a GREAT!!
They really are
I'm currently looking for the books in amazing, web, and spectacular spider-man that are parts of the Kraven's last hunt story. The covers are amazing

How much did you pay ?
Good stuff!
I read somewhere that the astonishing tales 8 is the first doom meeting mephisto. I have it but mephisto is not named. If you read it let me know if you think it is.
I’d pay for Spectacular Spider-Man 98-101 before your claim sale. Wanted 101 for a minute and I’ve bought from you plenty of times
Sweet pickups
Fun fact. My first Overstreet guide, Katy Keene cover 1984, listed Marvel Fanfare #1 at $10 mint. Asm #129 at $2 mint. Lmfao
Hahahaha
Always great to see some Moon Knight love!
I've been picking up Moon Knight like CRAZY lately
@@MintHunterComics Nice!. I’m 2 issues short of a full volume 1 run now, still hoping to see Oscar in the MCU proper 🤞
Hey where do you get your key issue stickers from?
Sticker Mule
James any chance the Deadpool 1st appearance will be in the next claim sale ?? And if so how’s the condition

Does he have any DCs from the same era? I am interested in runs of Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and JLA from that general era.
New Gods > Eternals

I 100 percent agree
@@MintHunterComics
I edited this comment about Sienkiewicz’s last name pronunciation too.
Did you just custom print those "key issue" stickers?
I did!
Someone likes saying Fin Fang Foom.
FFF!
Will you do Facebook claim sales? I can never make you claim shows
When are these going up for sale?
Not sure yet. I kinda wanna keep it all hahahaha
@@MintHunterComics I’m interested in Eternals 11-19 if you decide to sell. Great pickup by the way! Always enjoy watching your videos

Sin KEV itch
Eternals need more love
X-Factor and X-Force books are pretty worthless even as a run. Still better than the Excalibur tho.
Hahaha I didn’t even show it but I have a full of of Excalibur here too!
I like Excalibur
Nothing wrong with Excalibur there just isn't anything in it worth much if anything.
