I LOVE your Superman haul! 🎉 I'd buy these all day long just because the covers are so fun and the stories are outrageous. I agree - the 20 cent covers are something extra special, for Superman, Supergirl, Superboy and Lois Lane! ❤
Great pick up! I Love vintage comic books of any title! They just bring Me back to the simpler times. Thanks for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😀 👍 ❤️ 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 ♥️ 📚📚📚📚💯💯💯💯💯✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
One of the things I like most about the Lois Lane and the Jimmy Olsen series is the zaniness of some of the stories, like all the times Jimmy has been altered into a human/animal hybrid and all the times Lois has fought another woman (whether fictional or historical) for Superman's affection. Superboy #182's cover: one of Nick Cardy's best, he was a superb illustrator. Superboy #189: try getting that cover approved by editorial today - you'd have no chance. And the same with Superman #221 though for different reasons. This is a fantastic group of comics James, loved seeing all the wonderful covers.
Wow pretty cool new old comics I definitely saw a few 10 cent issues! Find those keys James or super cool covers that are different like the one with Jonathan Kent hung in the shadows!😮😮
The Action Comics #251 is actually the 1st Supergirl (unpopular opinion). Many consider it just an advertisement but it's the beginning of the story ark and has a full page dedicated to Supergirl
Super nice find!!! The Lois Lanes look incredible and anything from the Bronze Age seemed high grade or better. As a Marvel Guy I really enjoyed seeing these DC books!
SUPERBOYS ...UNTOUCHED??? UNREADABLE. James I love your passion for DC books. Outside Batman, Detective, Green Lantern and some JLA I find DC incredibly hard to read. Maybe comparable to your Marvel knowledge of keys(X-men).
I know you buy to sell, but man imagine the value on all these if you were to save them until after James Gunn's Superman movie comes out in a couple years. The condition on these is gonna make them probably triple the value after the movie!
Mint Hunter Comics,if you get AMS#129,let me know cause the punisher is my favorite character and it's the main book I am after besides TMNT#1 or X-Men#1 which now it will take me at least two months to get the money I lost saved back up.
That Action Comics 445. What grade would you put that at? That was my first ever Comic Book. And I am always looking for a great looking copy. Please let me know or was in the first box the 25 cent issue.
You’ll find as you continue your deeper journey into comics that finding Superman or jimmy Olsen or superboy in high grade isn’t uncommon. It’s all generally a tough sell at a price to make a profit hence why many people are just happy to unload the stuff. Although some issues in high grade do fetch money because of some periods of low printing. Best of luck selling it!
I recently picked up an Action Comics #314 (Sups becomes the Flash) because I never saw it before and wouldn't you know it was one of the first issues you fanned through. Lol. I also picked up a Lois Lane #76 (bikini cover). I didn't see that in there but that Lois Lane #111 was def another one I'd snag if I found in the wild. Good stuff James!
YES! This is what I've been waiting for, especially high grade silver Action (FN or above), but the whole collection looks great! I hope you can fit some of these in on Sunday. Supes and his family might not be widely collected, but I think these will sell well in your claim sales.
I've never understood jimmy Olsen. Like I get they needed a young sidekick to make superman more accessible. Same reason why robin showed up. But jimmy Olsen wasn't special in any way. He was just another reporter...never understood that.
@@MintHunterComics I brought them on OfferUp and they blocked him but I am not sure I will get my money back and so for now own I am only buying off eBay or in person so I can see the books. Once I get AMS#129, TMNT#1, X-Men#1,Hulk#181 and Batman#1 I am done collecting unless I find keys cheap in the wild. I am kinda scared to buy any comics online after I lost my money and I kinda feel like I willnt get my money back and this kinda makes me wanna just quiet collecting all together.

I don’t know, it’s pretty believable that Jimmy Olsen of that era would go untouched ;)
🤣I tend to agree with you.
Big keys or not, this is an awesome collection. The condition of most of them seem pretty good for books that old.
Great finds, I tend to see more people collect only the Keys from Superman instead of full runs.

Neal Adams (including the book you thought was Nick Cardy; it was Neal.) and Curt Swan did the vast majority of these covers.
OH !!!!!! Superboy and the Legion of the Superheroes, I am looking for those

Nice haul James! Maybe you can make a huge run of Superman from the bronze age
What a Super collection you have there!👍

Love the videos man! Have you ever done a step by step video on how to submit to CGC? Would be very helpful!
Now that's a collection that I would love to go through, wow, love it
Very nice... thank you for sharing!

Nice collection. Most of those books are primo looking. Can’t wait to try to claim some.
What did the collection cost? I mean superman isn’t really an expensive title for the new stuff but some of the older books they have lots of value
Fantastic books. Enjoy.

When selling off a large part of older books I kept the Supes and Jimmy Olsen and Legion runs ....just a favorite of mine when younger.

Just saying, but that Action Comics 313 has one of my favorite covers of all time, that look on Supergirls face just kills me

Although not a fan of Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, Superboy, Action Comic, World's Finest or Superman but those are really nice comics. Great buy!

Super jealous!
You got a of nice comics i only collect certain issues of Jimmy Olsen and Lois Lane and Superboy
How do you come across collections?
Ohhh boy, what I would give for that whole lot!
0:37. Action Comics 445 is Flash 123 homage cover.
I hope you read some of these before shipping them out. Man, look at those covers! How can you NOT want to read them?! 🍦
I work 100 hours a week if not more so I just don’t know how that’d be possible!
@@MintHunterComics Keep some in the bathroom! 😉
Based on your region, I am guessing they were pretty cheap. In Canada, to buy that would be expensive.
Where did you get those superman comic books from.
Like the video
The early Action Comics are cool. I see some low grade of the other stuff for a buck, on occasion.
So totally jealous.
Great find on those Superboys !

It may be ALL I do on Sunday lol
Do you have a Jimmy Olsen 139?
Damon what a haul dude!
Well how much?
👍👍👍👍

Did you have a full run of iron man for sale?
Ironically I actually do
I’m potentially interested. I thought I saw a video you mentioned it and you may have included a price but I can’t find it now
Cool
I am done with comics cause the ams#129 and hulk#181 I got are reprints and I am out alot of money,I am so pissed off.
Oh no... contest the payments! expose the liar!
What an absolute scumbag to do that to you, sorry that happened
