Neat Room! Thanks for the mention of my art and I am honored to have a spot there. We all miss the co-host but you have a growing family and I’m sure they will love spinning records with grandpa. God Bless You All. Thank you for sharing!
Wonderful music room. Fabulous! Love the lightness and lighting of the room and how you've stored your music. Thanks for sharing this with us. What a delight.
Thanks for the room tour. It was great seeing the picture of Bill and all the other VC meet-ups. You'll spend a lot of quality time in that room - have fun!
The room came out great Randy, I’m quite happy with it. The pictures are my favorite part of the room for sure, so many great memories. I hope to keep expanding this
Hi Steve! Loving to see the new space grow and evolve with the collection. As before, two thumbs up for the Pioneer 850, a simply amazing amplifier. Like Kris, I'm also honored to be on the "wall of VC fame"! What a great idea. That really shows how much you value each friendship made. I still remember meeting up at RPM records. Hopefully we'll meet up again sometime. Let me know when/if you're in the midwest again. Box sets: I get into mine. I work them in. I use the dining room table to lay them out and at least try to listen to all or some of the records/cds that I can. Recently, I've listened to the David Gilmore in Pompeii, Tool Fear Innoculum, Metallica Ride the Lightning (very cool to give the posters some air and read through the pages of the booklet. Amazing stuff), Jaco Pastorius Truth, Liberty & Soul, Sabbath Anno Domoni...Take care~~
Yes Corey, you are definitely on the VC hall of fame wall, it was such an honor to get to meet you. Those pictures are the best part of my room as they are all great memories. I like what you’re doing with the box sets, laying them out and really digging into the music, good suggestion. They are up high and I tend to bypass them. I don’t buy many anymore though I really do love them
Hi Steve. Room looks great 👍. The music is the ❤️ of it all. Love the chair. Keep Kat for posterity. Besides I have that mug with him on it 😊. I'd send you an autographed picture but I might have warrants out for me 😅. Lots of wonderful pictures of the VC. A charmed life indeed 😊.
I was sure we had done a picture Greg but I couldn’t find one which was disappointing. I had a lot of people that I have met and didn’t have a picture. The pictures are all about great memories
Hi Steve Great seeing those photos of your VC friends, nice to have on the wall. Some of that hifi kit you have in your storage cupboard looks decent. Kenwood stuff is quality, I used to have a Kenwood tape deck back in the early 90s...( Great for mix comps but not mixing food..lol!!). I agree, boxsets are a tricky one..Great to have and behold but cumbersome and take up tons of space..I have several but rarely dig them out these days. Aww, I still think about Kat and do miss his shenanigans!!. Thanks for the tour Steve, I think you've done a great job with the available space.
Thanks Rob for the kind comments. I am very happy with the room also. It came together nicely I do need to get around to testing that stereo equipment and see what I want or don’t want. It does take up a lot of space. The VC wall is filled with great memories ! Someday I will visit the UK again and get a lot more pictures for the wall
I've this week heard we have to move house again so I'll be watching more room tours though am dreading having to lug all the records somewhere. Good to see you have managed to sort everything out. It's refreshing just having one album artwork (as it is to be shown) one per cube rather than 'oohhhhhhhhh look at all my records' 😮😅 I sometimes will do that but generally not. Cheers Steve have a good weekend. Regards, Martin.
Martin, I feel for you for having to move. In another year or so we will buy a house in Denver and have to move again. I’m not looking forward to it. I hope you find a place where you can set up a great record room. I look forward to seeing it
One of the first videos I watched of yours was the Mr. Roger’s and I really enjoyed it and many afterwards. Then the horrible flood that you survived and started to rebuild with the help of the vinyl community. Now the new adventure in your life that you really didn’t know was around the bend and the great new record room. I know that I, as well as many others, are so happy for you! I have just moved to a new state and I’m currently working on my new record room and it’s exciting isn’t it? The process of moving isn’t fun; luckily I only had about 24 boxes of records…it could have been worse🤔 All the best to you as you continue on your journey!😊
Thank you for the very nice note Christopher. The Mr Rogers opening was so much fun to do, I need to pull that out again for an introduction lol. When I was looking for our new place I had two things, double sinks in the master bathroom and a large room for records lol. After that it didn’t matter. In a couple years we plan to buy a house so once again I will need to move, not looking forward to it. This room is great and the wall of VC members it my favorite part, so many great memories.
My my my how it has grown. Great room my friend. Thanks for the tour. I tell ya, with that closet and those shelves....clear that baby out. get those cds and more vinyl set up in there. You know me, I see every inch at set up space lol!!! \m/
Brandon, I think you are called a vinyl enabler haha. In a year we plan to buy a house so we can move again and I can work on a new and improved record room. I plan to some day hit the St Louis area and hopefully have the pleasure of meeting you
Hi Steve! Moving sucks but you’ve had a nice landing. If I make my way to Steve Carlson country, I’d take that second chair. Flipper! Wow! I loved the photos Steve from the VC channels.
Man I feel for you Mike. In another year or so we will move again but at least it will be close. I hope you got a great new record room. I did just have someone ask me about a channel that talks about country western. I sent him your way.
great room steve...i feel honored to have my photo up on the wall there... i wish you many hours of vinyl enjoyment in your abode..great health as well my friend... peace to you and yours always..rocky
Awesome, I built my small record room with homemade plywood flip bins instead of shelves.. It's become a bit of a piled up junk room lately but I hope to clear it out and bring it back to glory!
Steve, your room looks great. Everything is so neat and clean. I really like the white shelving. Great selection of box sets. I do make time to listen to a lot of them. There are some great photos of family and friends. We really miss Kat. Why not take a few of those receivers to your local record store and get some credit? You might want to consider adding a few more albums to your collection. 🤣 I also love reading. I can't seem to get rid of them even after I've finished reading them. Thanks for the tour. I hope you're having a great weekend.
Mark, when I moved I got rid of 100s of books that I brought to the library. I did not get rid of any music books, art , architecture or books from classic authors like Steinbeck. I just had too many books to move and find a spot for lol. When we move again I will try to set up a couple stereo systems. I will then get rid of the rest of the equipment- takes up too much space
Oh my goodness those vinyl community trading card artwork are amazing! Great to see your record room. How sweet you have VC meet up photos printed! 🥹 even a flood picture lol
Good morning Steve, very cool room man, you seem really happy and that’s really all that counts right? Love the Pioneer receiver, love the first frame with VC members drawn… We all have too many records, it’s a good addiction to have, at least I think, or not… Have an amazing day 🎶✌🏼
The VC member trading card was very special There is a lot of talented people that collect records. So true we all have to many records but oh the enjoyment they bring us
Sending a photo of myself 😂. That’s a beautiful picture of the Sax Guitar Piano in the center of the room. World Party and The Waterboys made my day! Very nice set up, Steve. It must be a relief to finally be settled in.
It is very nice to be settled in Steve. In another year though we hope to buy a house and then move hopefully for the last time I hope we can meet someday and add you to me wall, I really love that spot
@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 Four weeks out of the years we’re at our home in Taos. It’s a lot closer to you than California. Maybe we can make it happen some day. You’re always welcome at our home in Taos or we could meet half way at a record store.
Loved the tour! Thanks for sharing Steve. I think if I were over and sitting in your future second chair, I'd ask you to pull something from those three Africa/World music cubes to play. What a tribute to the VC with all of the pictures! I'm really touched to have made it. So many members I miss are represented. RIP Bill Young. I miss Andre and Chris's videos. I haven't finished the Podcast episode on prog yet. I'll try to finish that up this weekend. And I'm looking forward to your own prog video that you teased. Thanks Steve! Take care!
I’m trying to appreciate Prog Bill. It was fun to do that podcast on it. It got both me and Jim thinking a little differently about it. Still is a confusing genre. The VC wall is packed with great memories and I’m happy you are one of them Fun to have a Covid photo
I always like facing out albums on the front of my record cubicles, especially for videos, but I always seem to forget to do it, so it's never done. Your record room is definitely a happy space, and quite well organized. Mine is probably about the same amount of space, but the cabinets don't go up to the ceiling yet. I also had to lose the small closet in the room to make space for my shelving because the room is an interesting shape. Yeah, it's square, but has an entryway that is useless. I like the way your room has no space that has to be wasted. So sad about Kat, but I don't think I would ever get rid of that sign, it's iconic.
Mike, yeah others have said to hold onto the sign with Kat. He did cohost for many years. It is nice to have so much light in this room though one side is hard to use for records because of it. That’s okay though , helps keep the collection under control…I hope lol
In the US it’s all about big! We have the room for big houses. In a few years I will buy a place and start this over again Andy. I like having it in one place as I spend most of my at home time in hear
When I look your room, it makes me thinking that I should put my albums in some kind of order. You have met so many VC dudes. Nice Vinyl boardgame! Wow. mr. Finglish (Bäd English Recs)
Mr Finglish, I have been missing you my friend. I guess I need to email you to see what you have been doing. I have been lucky to meet a little of people. I also had the huge pleasure of meeting you through zoom. That was a true honor
@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 Yeah e-mail is best. Or iMessage. I guess you might have my connection. I think I have sent you iMessage. It feels that I don't find energy, time, space videos. Same time I should because. That is part of my hobby.
Thanks Dave, in another year or two I hope to buy a house and then we have to move again sigh. I hope I can find even a bigger room but not for records, more for art work and decorations
One of these days, Professor, you're going to turn on the national news, and there'll be a human interest story, and Kat will be front and center - "How did this cat find his way all the way back from Denver to Midland? Find Out Next on Action News!" LOL! Fantastic tour, sir. I hope mine will be that good when I get it done, still hoping for the end of this month, we'll see. I could make some organizational suggestions about your closet to make it more efficient, but then again, mine is not a walk in and is hopelessly cluttered, but man, I'd donate all that equipment to a thrift store - someone getting into music could use it if you're not able to - you can spread the love, sir! And those awesome classic games - don't hide them, spread them around on the tops of your shelves where there's room, show them off, man! I saw a couple of real classics in those - Dealers Choice and Booby Trap - wow, I remember both of those, we are OLD, ROTFL! And Kim would love the D&D books, although we haven't played for years, we did, and loved it. You should put together a "best of Kat" video for new people, and always keep Kat as the mascot, even though he appears to have blown you off, which I"m sorry about. But it wouldn't be the same without him. Have a great weekend, sir!
If I could do the editing on my phone I would do a Kat video. Yes he could still be on the way back home lol. I love D&D but it has been several decades for me also I am patiently waiting for your tour TC
The room came out great. Lot smaller than my previous room but I no longer need all that inventory I have found a smaller collection is better for me though it still seems to be to large lol
Hello Steve; A tour of the new record room, looks good! In a White Room with dark curtains near the mountains. Multicolored lighting & a disco ball should complete the room set up, then you can display the old Disco jumpsuit with the platform shoes. Like the VC member/family pictures, along with Billy (MRC). Take care, Tina & Pat!~
So great to see the growing back of the collection after the big disaster a few years back. Nice set up. I've got some general plans in mind for a redo of my music room, adding shelves, moving to a new room, etc. but may be a few months off, as we're talking tearing up carpet and putting down new flooring before all the heavy shifting.
Jeff, our collections continue to expand don’t they. I really want to keep mine contained in this room. In another year we hope to buy a house then I have to once again hunt for another record room.
You really maximized the room pretty good, you even have walking room, hopefully you can get that other chair in and fill it w a body. Nice collection too btw 👍🏼
Steve I love your new room man I’m with you I can’t stop buying and my room is running out . When when love so many genres we’re doomed. I really love your collection Steve and OG Nirvana In Utero very hard to find these days . The VC photos was outstanding and that one with Buddy Guy amazing me and my wife was front row seeing Buddy in the early 2000’s he saw us and gave me his guitar pick which I still have he so amazing live. On Boxset i like them I definitely stop buying because of the running out of room killer Mancave Steve.
Lovell, always a pleasure to hear from you. I saw Buddy Guy around Xmas a few years ago at his club in Chicago. My family was staying at the Hilton for and early Xmas It was late but my youngest son convinced me to go to Buddys Club. We walk in and I heard the music and I knew it was Buddy! It was fantastic. I was the first at his merch store and he came over and we talked and invited his picture and a bunch of autographs that sadly most got destroyed in the flood. The picture is very special to me
@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 that was awesome that picture you have with Buddy sorry to hear you lost the autographs your memories are treasures you will never forget. Have a great week to come Steve.
Room is looking great. A lot of work getting it all together but now you have it setup for your own personal musical nirvana. I’m a firm believer in organization but I can’t help you on the ever growing collection and space requirements. I took over an adjacent room for expansion a while back. My wife is the best. 😊 Enjoy.
lol, you have a very patient wife allowing you to take over more space! I will have to do that for CD thought people did mention using the closet. I thought about setting up a cabinet on the back wall. Maybe I will do that.
Congrats on the record room! I miss having a dedicated room for my collection, but such is life. Of course you've listened to every one of those bootleg CDs, right? I will never forget Kat biting your face on camera and drawing blood.
Yeah, the cat bite was classic YT TV haha. I wish I had listened to all those bootlegs. There is a lot of jazz and blues in there along with favorites like VU and Talking Heads. Doc was very good at finding things I would enjoy and pushing my boundaries
Nice music room! Great place to chill out! Wow, you have enough stereo equipment to start your own shop! Also enough records! Vinyl is a great hobby! I think after your first year is up and you’re ready to buy a house, you’ll need a bigger room! I don’t see you downsizing anytime soon.
Nice pad Mike 👍I have no tips Mike, my stuff has moved into the spare bedroom. I don't think you need to be wider, I think you're perfect the way you are. Working in a library I appreciate your filing. OG Flipper OMG! Buddy Guy is in the VC! Wow! Looks like we gotta reader. That rock theft will catch up with you one day Mike. You know what they say, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you. Thanks for the tour. Cheers...Mike
Pretty sure my face is on wanted posters in most national parks , sometimes you just have to have a rock Mike. Dewy Decimal System kicks ass, totally a big fan of it. If you had come to Denver instead of Canada you could have had a picture on my wall. Also you could have bought a gun, is the American way
Wow you got a lot of stuff! I love room tours and yours is so cool. Thanks for sharing! So, what do you think about maybe moving all the games to another room or closet, and getting some ikea cd shelves/towers, and just lining the closet walls with em. Floor to ceiling. The entire closet. Then you can just swivel your chair and see em all. No wasted space, boxes gone. Win win.
I would but I got no place to go with all those games. Since we are renting I got no basement, just packed closets ! I was thinking of moving the boxes against the back wall of the closet and set up some CD cabinets.
Nice setup. I had everything nicely displayed a while ago but now, the entire basement is buried in boxes. Too many records. I just picked up 250 more today (purchased as given). On the upside, I've been going through some of the countless boxes and I found 6 or seven records that weren't in good enough shape to keep. Progress!
lol Darrell that’s excellent progress 6 records couldn’t make the grade, wow. Judith has the patience of a Saint. You must be known far and wide in Canada as the man to give records to
Wow that is a great new music room Steve! Soooo many records. I love the family and vc friends pictures. Good point about box sets. Sure they’re awesome and all, but how often do you ever listen to all that extra stuff?
Gary, that wall of pictures is my favorite part of the room, lot of great memories. 2020-2022 I worked in Ohio a lot. I just did not know about you or Michael up in Cleveland. Would have been great additions to the wall. It will continue to grow I hope
Steve, I have zero self control. I went almost a month on a no spend. Day 28 I caved and it started over. I had to go to all the local stores. That Onkyo receiver is cool. I’d probably hook it up. Awesome room tour. You are busting out already. Move Patty out to a she shed and take over the whole house. Lol Peace ☮️ Namaste 🙏 the Zonkman
You would make a great marriage counselor Steve, just move the wife to a shed lol. You came so close to making it to 30 days and then the addiction took hold, so sad my friend. Congrats on making my wall of Fame!
@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 Steve, I got my Carlson personal greeting from Chance today at Noble Records. He said he was on a live stream with you the other night. Cool to meet concert buddie. Great to be on your wall of fame!
This is great. The VC playing cards are fantastic. Rather like youreself I have a variety of vinyl cleaning accesories..which I love buying..but frequently succeed in making my records sound worse (sprays..anti-static brushes) The only thing that seems to work is my trusty spin-clean. I love those Realistic turntables. I think they were sold through Radio Shack...but theyve got a lovely sound...you never see them in the UK.
Yes Harris, Spin Clean is where it is at! I’m not going to spend $1000 for something where a spin clean will do the job. If I had a dog I could just have him lick my records clean, very cheap way to go! VC cards were wonderful, lot of talented people in the VC
Fantastic,Steve...Very impressive..... Getting into the spirit of the thing,I would like to send you a surprise album to complement your new Record room/..I would just need to get your new address... Cheers
New space looks good Steve! I forgot Andrew Jones had played for the White Sox. I'm just relieved your stash of clothing-challenged covers was edited out of the tour. Too much skin can upset folks. 🤣
What a lovely and fully equipped record room, Steve. Obviously I could go on and on about my disappointment in the fact that the picture I sent you with Uffe Lorenzen and little old me somehow didn't make it onto your walls, but I won't, as that would just be pathetic, right? 😉😁
I love you picture with Uffe but I have not met you. Now when I do make it back to Denmark and I then meet you we can go hang out with Uffe and get the picture lol
Lovely wall of photos and memories, that is a real centrepiece of the room Steve. Where is Corey, not heard from him in a long time. He was already only intermittently active when I started I think. I have those Welcome To Zamrock CD boxsets as well though I didn't pursue the genre as far as you have. I ended up pulling all my records slightly forward so they stick out of the cubes just a bit, makes the spines easier to see but then if you want to display some sleeves like you do its a pain to push all the records back in so you can do so and then pull them back out again afterward. Have you listened to all those CD's? That would bother me if I hadn't gotten around to them. Cheers and thanks for the tour!
I have not been able to listen to all those CDs. A lot of people sent me CDs. I am not even sure of everything that I got I plan to work on finding space for it. When we buy our house I hope to have room set aside for it Once in awhile I hear from Corey. Family life was a lot of what made him slow down. A lot of people just burn out doing it
Yes Don, congratulations on being on a trading card. I believe I have your address so I can send that to you. Glad you’re back making videos again. I need to drop a comment
Ron, that would take a long time lol. Lots of jazz but also bands like Led Zepplin, Velvet Underground and Talking Heads. It is amazing what Doc sent me
Say Steve. I see you've stored your albums using the Dewey Decimal system. I approve.... Only one and a half cubes of Blues? It's a sad day when I hear stuff like that, sniffle snuffle snort... I like the picture wall a lot, cool.... Still tons of stuff on the floor huh. Some things never change even with brand new digs. LOL .... Well after watching your video Steve I can tell you for a fact you need to purge some stuff. If you can't display and use something and have to put it away in a closet because you got no room or use for it it's clinical behaviour for some kind of mental disorder I've read..... I'm like that with fishing gear. LOL
lol records and fishing gear, what are we to do Bobby. I worked in the library for 4 years in college, I am well versed in the Dewey Decimal System lol. I love to organize things Even my books downstairs are set up by category and then author haha. It makes me happy. My VC wall is my favorite feature. Great memories my friend
@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 need to try Forever Young Records the next time you’re there. In Josey’s They have a Bill’s Record section. I have been to his store prior to his passing. Interesting character. No prices On the records. Told you what they cost at the register
Rodney I got that at my local store when I lived in Michigan. I have seen similar crates in different home stores and some other record stores. It really works great
Except love! I was lucky after the flood so many people helped me to start bringing my collection back. I never asked, people just helped. It shows how wonderful record collectors are, I never could have done it otherwise
Are those shelving made out real wood? Looks like IKEA assembly material. I hate shelving that you have to screw together and stack to the ceiling. Not good especially if you live in the stae of California like I do (Silicone Valley). Nice collection by the way. Myself I have 3500 vinyls and 2500 cds. Like to know how I store them? Send me a comment - thanks (from 976-CREOLEMAN).
Marc, they are IKEA. I needed to go floor to ceiling to fit everything in. It also gave me a nice uniform look. Please let me know how you store your collection. My first collection before the flood I had two large rooms , one for vinyl and one for CD. I had about 12,000 total. Now I’m trying to limit the collection to only 3000 so I have to purge periodically.
@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 How you doing Steve and I thank you for your comment. The way I store my collection is I have two rooms in my house one for vinyl and the other for cds. All my CDs (last count 2500) are all in real wood bookcases in my living room. In this house there are long walls inside in every room so I have 11 bookcases and 2 are for DVDs and VHS tapes. I had to make extra shelving for these bookcases to fill completing for CDs and movies. All my vinyls are stored in the other room in real wood room dividers that I built myself and they are 8 feet long (4 all together). Every cd and vinyl are all in alphabetical order. The dividers are only stacked 2 for each and do not touch the floor. Use 3 long heavy milk carton binds that you can find at grocery stores and believe me these can hold over 1000 pounds or more easy. 8 feet and 13 inches in height. All together the height is 41 inches. Still have a lot of wall space in my house. Well that's it so keep collecting and happy holidays to you (from 976-CREOLEMAN).
Henry, I love photography and have entered various local contest with some good success. Janis Jackson did an album called Control. Collecting and self control, do they really go together lol
Why not show us the other room where you keep your Osmonds, Partridge and kids on the block. And what about Ali your pet alligator. Are the photos of people you have assassinated or are next. Bidens new law says for every record you buy you have to have a garden gnome. A small one for singles up to a life size model for box sets.

Rocky, your picture is very important to me, it is a true treasure along with your album. I am honored to have be given it from you
Awesome, I built my small record room with homemade plywood flip bins instead of shelves.. It's become a bit of a piled up junk room lately but I hope to clear it out and bring it back to glory!
Those flip bins look really nice and makes it much easier to pick an album. I just needed to go from floor to ceiling with my records lol
Monie, my favorite part of the VC is meeting people. Each picture is a happy memory for me It really made my room special for me
Good morning Steve, very cool room man, you seem really happy and that’s really all that counts right? Love the Pioneer receiver, love the first frame with VC members drawn… We all have too many records, it’s a good addiction to have, at least I think, or not… Have an amazing day 🎶✌🏼
The VC member trading card was very special There is a lot of talented people that collect records. So true we all have to many records but oh the enjoyment they bring us
Great video Steve. Nicely set up room. Great photos.
Thank you Peter, I’m very happy with it
Awesome to see all those photos together.
Yeah each of those photos are a happy memory Dave. It was an honor to meet all of you
Sending a photo of myself 😂.
That Rain Parade record is one of my very favourites, great to see it there.
I had an IG before the flood, it took awhile but I finally found an OG again. Super happy to have that back, such an important album
A nice room, Steve. I don't have a record room as such. No spare room with big enough wall space, so my records are spread around the house
In the US it’s all about big! We have the room for big houses. In a few years I will buy a place and start this over again Andy. I like having it in one place as I spend most of my at home time in hear
Thank you for the room tour Steve 😊
Morten, it’s always fun when the room finally comes together
When I look your room, it makes me thinking that I should put my albums in some kind of order. You have met so many VC dudes. Nice
Vinyl boardgame! Wow.
Cool music room, Steve. Thanks for the tour!
Thanks Brian, like all record rooms, it is our happy place
Looking good!! It’s always hard moving and setting up everything from scratch but room is looking great!!
That's a super fun looking room with some killer albums displayed.
The room came out great. Lot smaller than my previous room but I no longer need all that inventory I have found a smaller collection is better for me though it still seems to be to large lol
Awesome room! And Stratego is one of my favorite board games!
I loved playing Stratego as a kid then with my boys. I love games
I do love the wall of VC members I have met. That is really special to me and I hope to add more to it in the coming years
So great to see the growing back of the collection after the big disaster a few years back.
Nice collection too btw 👍🏼
lol, I need a chair and a second body in the room! When I was house hunting a proper room for the records was high on the list. Thanks for watching
great set up Steve, very bright room too, looks great. Let me know when you ever have that second chair set up and i'd love to come by!
Thijs, I would love to have you over. Now I need to get that chair! I’m looking forward to Sunday
You "new" place is looking great! Take care and keep it up!
Thank you so much. It is fun to get a new room, especially if it is bigger! Now the goal is to contain myself!
Finally! Been waiting for months now😊
Something’s in life just take a little time lol. Basically I just had to say Get Er Done!
Looking great. I'm expanding into the family room at my house.
Richard, you keep finding more treasures to fill up the house. I’m trying to contain myself, not easy
Nice music room! Great place to chill out! Wow, you have enough stereo equipment to start your own shop! Also enough records! Vinyl is a great hobby! I think after your first year is up and you’re ready to buy a house, you’ll need a bigger room! I don’t see you downsizing anytime soon.
lol, Michael you are right. When looking for a house the record room is a top priority for me. I still need to work on containing this room !
Hi Steve - nice room. You definitely need a second chair - hope to help occupy it one day for an hour or so! Like that Decemberists record!
Love to have you visit Mike. I also did not get a selfie with you so need to get you on my VC wall
Also you could have bought a gun, is the American way
I miss Linda Legg's videos. Thanks for the tour, amigo.
Andre was great and he became a very good friend. Once in a while I still hear from him.
Almost every album you are displaying is ace
Thank you, I do enjoy looking at them. That is some of my heavy hitters
Hi Steve
Great room tour so sorry about Kat! Trish
Yeah Kat could be difficult but he was a good cohost Trish
Forgot we took a pic. Think your room is now bigger than mine. I need to continue with my purge and reorg.
Yes congrats on making the wall of fame Jeff. You were my first VC picture ! I am getting ready to purge again also
Cheers
Isa, drop me an email at roadrunner112@att.net. I thought I had hit email but I can’t find it. Nice to have the room done, I’m very happy with it
New space looks good Steve! I forgot Andrew Jones had played for the White Sox. I'm just relieved your stash of clothing-challenged covers was edited out of the tour. Too much skin can upset folks. 🤣
lol, I should do that with the soft porn album
Jackets lol. Sex sells Chance! Just waiting to get your picture on my VC wall!
A lot of people just burn out doing it
WOW I made it to a trading card!!!!!🍻 And no, not too many records just too little of space. I think my room is half that size.
Yes Don, congratulations on being on a trading card. I believe I have your address so I can send that to you. Glad you’re back making videos again. I need to drop a comment
Like to see some of those CD boots. I know it's a lot tho,
Ron, that would take a long time lol.
Nice room tour, Steve. How do you like that Silos - Cuba record? I showed that one in the Vulgar Boatmen video. I love those first 3 Silos records!
I love that Silos album. I had it on CD and was shocked that after the flood I found it in vinyl form. Great albums
Move those speakers off of the cabinet to stands - will sound so much better
I did have those speakers on stands but it was too dangerous for me grandson so I moved them off
What stores did you visit in Dallas? I like you have multiple box sets ( vinyl, cassettes, cd’s, and yes 8 track tapes)
We went to Josie’s and one other store that I don’t remember. I went to Dallas twice for meetings so I arranged time with VC members
@@stevecarlsonvinylcommunity9147 need to try Forever Young Records the next time you’re there. In Josey’s
They have a Bill’s Record section. I have been to his store prior to his passing. Interesting character. No prices
On the records. Told you what they cost at the register
lol, one of those stores. Don’t show excitement when you find an album as the price may jump up when you get to the register
Where did. You. Get the box’s. Hold your record s. In.
Rodney I got that at my local store when I lived in Michigan. I have seen similar crates in different home stores and some other record stores. It really works great
Money can buy you anything.
Looking good Steve!
I’m pretty darn happy with it. In a couple of years I will buy a house and start all over again
Self Control? I thought that a Laura Braningan album. You take good pictures, I do not.
Damn Peter, that is going to be a lot of garden gnomes. I may need a bigger yard. Someday I will show my secret closet, but you will have to wait
