I have a 2015 R1200RT which I just bought with 61,000 miles (looks new, and runs like new) I absolutely love it, I'm selling my 2018 Goldwing DCT and keeping this one, next will be a R1250RT or 1300 when it comes out. Just a comment: As a 67 year old rider, whose two sons don't ride, I love the fact your riding with your dad, but disappointed you haven't introduced him at all in the videos, and maybe a comment or two from him. Food for thought.
I don't think my Dad would have wanted to be featured in the video - this was a learning trip for me from a video perspective, and I did my best to not let that interfere too much with the ride and experience for Dad. Maybe in a future trip...
Great trip through the French countryside! I noticed that both times when you stalled the bike and captured it on video, you were in 2nd gear. Maybe switch to 1st when doing slow maneuvers?
Eagle eyes! 😁 In fairness my clutch control is usually pretty good, but when I’m trying to juggle talking on camera with route finding I guess my brain abdicates responsibility for correct gear choice!! 😂
France is such a charming country. Thanks for filming these small cozy towns.
Love the scenery! Makes me want to go back to France, and buy a bike 😉😂👍🏻

The RT is such an immensely competent bike. I don't see myself ever not owning one, now.
Must be great to get to ride with your dad!
It is!
