French motorways (and service stops) are not bad as these things go. French Toll money is spent on the roads, which is why they are excellent condition. I remember going down one at 130km/h (legal limit) as a tractor cut the central reservation foliage from the fast lane, French didn't even slow the traffic let alone cone it off- we do it all wrong in this country.
They are superb roads, and I don't mind paying to travel them. Easy motoring for sure. In this country, a driver only has to break wind and they're closing the road 🙄
Thanks 😁 I didn’t do anything to the headlights. Never got flashed either on two separate tours through France and Spain 🤷🏼♂️ My bike has the standard lights rather than LED, so I guess they are less bright anyway.
Hello Mr. C.G.Rides, happy holidays from Canada,, Merry Christmas (if you celebrate it, apologies if you don't) and all the best in the new year. I recently discovered your channel and enjoy it very much. I am seriously considering a new BMW 1250 RT, mostly because of the weight and the fact that it has a music system with speakers, which few lighter bikes have. Do you have any comments about the performance of the speaker system at speed? Secondly, I see your dad rides with you on many road trips. Would you consider doing a walk around/road test video about his Honda 1100 sometime? Best Regards!
Hello from rainy UK 😁 I don't have the stereo option on my bike, so I can't comment on the speakers. I'm sure Dad would let me borrow the Honda for a road test, so I'll certainly add that to my to-do list... if it ever stops raining!!!
Do you meticulously plan the route or simply pop the destination in Google/Apple Maps? Ohhh should have watched the video before asking as all was revealed at 20 minutes 😎👌🏻
You're having a great trip, thank you for taking us with you. What a sad sky you have....
Just found your channel very enjoyable, France is an awesome place to tour more so once you’re away from the major cities.
Thanks for posting. Good to see you are getting straight into touring on the BMW. 👍👍.
Nice clear video. Have a good trip.

The French landscape was great. Thanks for sharing and taking the time and effort.
Cheers,

😁 thanks for watching
Enjoyed Part 1, looking forward to the next chapter. There's plenty of troglodytes in the UK - visible in any city centre after chucking out time! 😉
Great video. Thanks. Did you adjust the RT’s headlights for the continent? If so how?

Hi good video can lower engine noise can't hear you very well.
Regards barry
Will tweak it a bit more for next episode 👍
Why dont you put the card in the small compartment below the handelbars?
That would be sensible! Mine has my disk lock in it, but I could have done that 😁
I have the same bike and was thinking the same thing.
Interesting Vlog. What time of year was the trip?
It was at the end of April this year.
