Ozark has an ensemble of incredible actors and writers.... they have something very rare with this series... I'm TOTALLY addicted! Great acting and a great story line. Ruth is ruthless, Helen is scary, and Darlene is TERRIFYINGLY EVIL! They all play their parts with incredible intensity.

She is just a Legend....shes done so many genres and brings strength to every role. This season of Ozark was the best so far and I did NOT see that end coming.

All my days. She’s such a great actress. I have such a HUGE, HUGE regret. Let me set the scene. - I live in the UK. I’d gone to the South Bank to see The Recruiting Officer say the Olivier Theatre. I’d seen that Ms McTeer was in appearing in Uncle Vanya at the Cottisloe. I’d decided that I would go backstage to get her autograph. I’d managed to park my car at the back of the theatre. It is pouring with rain . She came out looked at the vain, turned around, went up to the foyer and spoke with a staff member. I thought I know exactly what she’s Ying. ‘Can you please call me a mini-cab. NOW if only I’d had the bottle, courage , gone in (after suitable time lapse )and said ‘cab for Ms McTeer ‘. BUT no, nothing of h kind. Instead I offer up my programme for the Recruiting Officer and wetly say ‘Please may I have your autograph. She smiled and said of course, I hand her my programme and she then says ‘But I wasn’t in this’. My turn to smile I say ‘No, I know, I noticed that too’. ARRRRRRRRRRRGH ! HOW pathetic am I . Aah! VERY is answer. VERY This is a true story PS - I still have my pen that she used. Sigh

In the beginning i didnt like how they softened her character when she was bffs with wendy...towards the end of the season i was pleased to see the season 2 cold hearted helen come back
Helen was all of the 3rd season hands down !! , she has a control about her that brings a seen wanting more , powerful acting. The strongest of all the cast and fun to watch. I can't imagine the last season being anything but Disappointing as they close it off.
i agree with many of the comments. Her acting developing of the character, I have to admit that I was a tad sad on that last episode of S3. Oh well, I am sure she will create more amazing characters soon.
I've only seen her in three things: Jessica Jones season 2, Damages and Ozark, and she was great in all of them (she was pretty much the only thing I enjoyed in JJ season 2). She's a very talented actress and she knows how to play low key threatening characters. Also, she's quite tall, I noticed that she was taller than most of the male actors in Ozark and I had to check.

I equated Helen to Dracula in the sense that they both exude class and imminent danger. She is a wonderful character portrayed by a wonderful actor.
