Those babies are not phone zombies, they are outside kids...playing outside, having adventures. So good to see.
wanna bet.
Ain't that the truth 😊 phones and computers are taking over😢😢😢 have a good one
They're lucky not to live near traffic like most kids these days.
Ain't that the truth, I love to see kids that are not addicted to their phones :)
Remember, the children have opportunities that not every child does. The influence of parenting and living environment is huge.
Home is home. A room for everyone. Lots of space for play and walk arounds. Closer to civilization and conveniences - tools, equipment, water, power options, coking and washing. Finally weather, less rain and mud.
Still watching 6 years later, nothing you two cant do... proud of u! Looking great!!!! ❤
it's been three years and I am still watching your content religiously. You're videos have gotten better and better every year!!! I wish Spenser taught classes I would defiantly fly down to TX take a course on sustainable building.
I'm a crafter...first thing I thought of, is using the taller trim on the back door as a canvas. Paint words or a design on it. In creating, you turn an oops into something else you hadn't thought of lol.
Camping is fun but home is always better
The snapshot of your babies on the toy tractor melted my heart so much tears ran out of my eyes. Thanks for sharing your family. So many wish to be able to do what you both have done so far and yet to come together. 🎉
HELLO 🤗 The outside of the cabin is so pretty - looking forward to seeing the inside transformation 😉 Beau & Cam have such a good time together 🥰 maybe could hook up their car to mower & pull them around if would work til get battery 🤔 have a great weekend 🙏🇺🇲💖
Good to see you made it home safely. Hey, the door worked and right style. Miracles to happen. Beau and Cam are growing so fast and they both enjoy the outdoors. They seem to take care of each other. Time for some rain, I imagine your water supply is running low. Ah, yes, it is also time to think about preparing for winter!! As always you're in my prayers. Be safe and stay healthy.
👏🏻👏🏻 Another great achievement and Thank You for sharing, love the kids pushing each other in their car - very cute. Take Care & well done on the Cabin getting to lock up. 🎉🎉🙏🏻🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺
First things first. The kids are too cute to be true.❤ Your cabin is looking great. Can't wait to see you move it and finish it out. Looks like the land and the cabin are going to be a great getaway. Best of luck.
Cam and Bo are such beautiful babies. I still remember when my girls and 3 grandkids were that little. Miss them at those ages. Now I'm just an old grandma but have enjoyed my life's journey. Hope to see those babies grow up as much as all of mine.
HER NAME IS SPELLED BEAU.
Why are you wearing a long sleeve shirt with a hood in 108 degrees your making me sweat
@@TheresaPowersGive it break !!! I'm sure the parents don't mind how we spell the names. They'd correct us or add the names in their bio. So stop with the capital letter corrections. It's a sickness to get that butt hurt over someone who's not related to you.
@@jhardy0786 - From what I remember, such clothing is made specifically for hot and sunny weather to protect the wearer from sunburn. The material wicks away sweat and may actually make the wearer not feel as hot.
Your kids are Hollywood beautiful.
That snippet of the video, where your daughter is driving with a big smile and your son is being chauffeured, as he stares-off into the distance...
Is priceless !!
You are so lucky to do what you do. Spencer is Jack of all trades. Also handsomely eyecandy 😊😊😊😊
I really love the green on it! Very sharp!
Awe your sweet babies taking turns pushing each other...they are adorable...your cabin is looking good
Love love love watching you guys! It makes me smile every time to see your projects and your babies playing underfoot! Thank you for sharing your life!
Looks great, love watching you guys ever since day one, respect from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧🙏
I literally need more than 12 minutes of your week 😊
12 minutes, crazy. Find a spot and Timelapse us for a few days! On average, personally-I like to watch you guys for an hour or so…
Probably need to get a life then
congratulations you got a door that fits 😀
The door hinges are supposed to be on the inside of the building that way no one can knock the pins out to get in your house
Plus it would keep them out of the weather.
I agree
Not just security, try escaping your house on fire if something prevents the door from being opened to the outside... this would not pass any code
Yeah… I was wonder this also. I was thinking if this is up in the snow country it could lead to a critical issue on getting out.
I disagree, if a thief is trying to break in they would naturally try and kick the door in not outward.... This would give the homeowner time to grab their chosen form of weapons to protect themselves.... I completely understand why Spencer and Mackenzie did the door this way and they're Bears up in their area....
I can't believe how big Cam and Bo is getting. It's so nice to see them playing together outside. Spencer can't wait for the finish.🇬🇧🇯🇲
BEAU IS HER NAME
# 1 for the day . . . From Brasil
glad y'all made it home safely and finally got the right door for the back & all dried in 🙂 can't wait til y'all start hanging drywall & all 💖 hugs to the kids can't believe how fast they are growing seems like they were both just born yesterday 💕
oh my goodness, the door is beautiful, but the children are more beautiful!❤️😘🥰🚪
I love how it all looks now, the fact you have created a home out of shipping containers is amazing! Your idea of doing these containers could be the answer to the housing crisis around the world! They could be fitted out by a charity organisation and shipped to where they are needed, so many people have lost there homes due to fire or flooding or even earthquake's. There are so many empty and even abandoned containers in ports around the world. The governments around the world should see how you've made your home and create more! Sorry if I'm ranting but people are suffering and this could be an affordable answer!
Spencer deserves a medal for his efforts
I love variety, thank you for sharing. I also live in Alaska in Fairbanks and love the information you share.❤❤
I love how you parent your kids! So many parents these days don’t let their kids do anything, which means adults that can’t survive unless everything is perfect. Your kids will be well adjusted capable adults!
Love to watch your video's. Bo & Cam are always on the go with each other, they make a perfect " brother & sister " couple to say the least. Glad that you make it back home okay from the Mnt's now it's time to fix the children's car if possible & get the cabin moved to the Mnt's . David B. , Utah .♥♥♥.
Why not wait and finish inside after you've moved. Even slight racking and jostling means potential for cracked wall, pressure on pvc leading to leaks later. Just don't see why take the risk. That's a steep narrow driveway on the new property. Just that section alone seems rugged and risky.
I'm considering setting this as my phone's wallpaper for daily cheer!
Oh boy!, Oh boy!, Oh boy!, It’s cabin finish out time! Let’s do this!
🎉❤😮😅😂
Oh that cabin is going to be so great for your family. It is I’ll be so fun to watch your journey building it out and getting it up to the land.
Hey girly!! Me from Cape Coral Florida!! What I like about your husband is he never gives up until he gets it just like it’s supposed to be no matter how many times it’s going to be or how frustrating he does it right! I love the way it looks the windows make it very unique I like the color of the trim. I love the windows. NICE!!! y’all are really going to enjoy this cabin in your new place of residency up in the mountains. It’s going to really be nice so happy for y’all got is really bless you and your family and y’all are so young.❤
You guys are definitely indomitable, and almost invincible! Watching your dream unfold right before our eyes is surely a feast to behold. May the Force be with you always!
Looking beautiful. Spencer does the most beautiful work.
You should push the door to the top to make up space for your flooring love the channel thanks for letting us be part of your life
That's an entry door it has the threshold. The flooring would butt up to the threshold. The door does not need to be shoved to the top.
I love the colour of the cabin. That will blend in perfectly in the mountains.
I had to stay out of the wood shop because of the excessive heat here in N Louisiana. It didn't rain here for 9 weeks. We have areas on the property that is actually black after the rain.
Thanks for sharing the update on the work on the new tinny country house ! 👍👍
Happy you got back home safely 🎉. Best wishes getting the cabin finished. The children have resettled nicely back at home, bless them with their toys. Good job getting the door finally sorted out, it looks good. Take care and safe🙋🏡🎉🎉
Cabin looks fantastic, love all the choices you have made. Glad you finally got the door sorted out. Your two kids are little cuties!! 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Soooo glad for you that the door debacle was resolved. The wider depth of the wood above the door looks fine & if you put an outside light on it, it would even look deliberate x
I'd put a barrier around the bottom of your new project to prevent snake from getting underneath 😮 Love your projects
I absolutely love the colors you all have chosen.
Great save on the door and frame! A lot of people would have thrown their hands in the air and given up. You are persistent!! You accomplish things, great and small!
Everytime with the music!😪😢😭
Glad you were able to relax. The cottage looks perfect!
I have never ever commented before and I've watched for a bit. I recently came across a water trapping system in the arid areas of Peru where they put up mesh nets to catch morning dew. The attaches to the mess and gravity pulls it down to pvc pipes that then run in to drums. I saw it and though hmm maybe you could look it up and see if it works for you when the dry season hits.
Such a beautiful family, may God bless and keep you! I love the way you guys build. Great job on everything! You guys need to build a storm cellar next, as you live in Texas... just thinking about your safety.
I would be cautious about how you move the cabin, once completed, onto and off of the transport trailer. It likely has lost some of its structural integrity with all the window and door openings despite the added opening framing. With all the added weight of the interior build out, it may not be wise to crane rig it onto a trailer without using some type of rigging assembly with spreader beams that ensure the lifting force is directed upward on the containers corners versus inwards which at worse may collapse it or at best break much of your windows and doors. Please consult a crane and rigging professional. Congrats on “Door #4”! 😉. Hopefully getting gravel laid on the mountain lane soon so it can pack and settle before sending a semi trailer up it. Dump trucks may get stuck too. Might have to get a load or two dumped at the bottom and bucket a thin layer on any questionable areas. All the best.
Can’t wait for the cabin relocation, please have a new generator for the relocation for your convenience. Have you considered a tractor mounted generator? Also consider building a storage building on site before your relocation.
Like a shipping container?
🤣🤣@@philtucker1224
I enjoyed today’s vlog each vlog the cabin is looking better and better.
Fun tip - you can adapt that power wheels toy to run on your Dewalt 20v batteries. With a voltage regulator in line you can choose between "fun" and "really fun".
Great progress on the cabin y'all! And such lovely kids - Beau's growing up to be a looker, just like her Mama! 🙂
Great Job You Two, Now The Move To The Mountains Once The Inside Is Done!
We live in Australia and Love your videos. The only suggestion i would have on the tiny home would be use the off cuts you have from the tiny home and make shutters for your windows for when you are not being on the mountain . Cheers Daryle
Yeah, nothing bear proof.....
What u need is a 12,000btu portable Air Conditioner to temporarily cool off the inside of the container to help make it more bearable in the crazy heat
6:40 great shot of the kids. Your daughter is like McKenzie smiling and laughing. Your boy is exactly like Spencer. Stoic and confused.
Your children are so beautiful and they got so big. God Bless
Looking great. Love it.
Good morning from The deep woods of Northern Ontario Canada! It’s beautiful on the mountain! Reminds me of home!
Looking great!
Just wondering, did you want to have the cabin door open outward instead on inward ?
Not as secure that way. Just pop the pins out and you are in...
Watching you guys from Russia since the beginning of your project. And your kids are growing beautiful.
@@Lifeuncontained12 are you spammers? The original name of their channel is different. Don't think ppl are stupid.
It looks like the doors are installed backwards. The hinges should be inside. The way it is, it is a major security issue. We've watched you guys from the beginning of your main home. Love watching you guys learn and grow along the way.
We noticed the hinges too lol
Yes, 100% this is both safety hazard for fire or something requiring you to get out of your home and something blocks the door from the outside and it doesn't open. Two, somebody could just break into your house by removing the door from the hinges... yikes!
Everyone thinks they're a carpenter. Damn TH-cam. Lol. Could you imagine how the electrical will turn out? Yikes. I wouldn't want my babies living there. No permits, no inspection. No way.
@@mikez1968 but we have to try. My husband has been a contractor/carpenter 40+ years but still willing to learn. Don't be to hard on these kids. They aren't slackers.
Definitely a safety concern for blocking yes. Someone can get into the place much easier by knocking out the pins on the hinges,
Love the wholesomeness of this channel, 👍
I know tall happy it's dried it looks so good, your children a blast on that 4 wheeler good excerise Y'all have A Bless Day ❤️😊🎼🍁🍂...
Woohoo!!!! The best is yet to come guys.
Good afternoon from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The side door project turned out great. 🇺🇸
Looking great and how did those sweethearts get big so fast They are growing like weeds. Man alive! Cute as cute can be and they are growing up like mine did, in the country and best friends and playmates. Fresh air...............it's all wonderful.
Blessings
We always look forward to your videos! ☕️🇨🇦☕️
It's looking fabulous! Quick question, Why did you install the door opening out instead of the normal inward? I know in coastal areas like Florida you do this for hurricanes, etc. Also, I know you are in the woods and all but wouldn't you want the hinges to be on the inside for security reasons? I mean, you can remove the pins of the hinge and take the door off right? It's just an observation, I guess living in Houston you learn to look for safety precautions... Thanks for sharing your lives with us and welcome home!
Dried in is good! I love the color of the door. You guys always come up with creative ways of fixing things. How is the lack of rain impacting your water supply?
When the interior is finished it will be a cool get away.
Open the windows to let air vent through the cabin.
Outstanding progress on your shipping container-turned-cabin!!! 🥰🎶😎🏡🐕🐕🥰🤗🤗
After all that, it’s looking great!
Congratulations your project is moving along. You can get cabin fever trying to live in a small place. I commend you both for even trying. But you're making a bold move. Going for your dreams. Kenzie go thru tax records and I would bet you can find out who the previous owners were and some great stories about how they came about the property in the mountains. I called one of the previous owners who owned our property and it was quiet a story.
That top door trim would look nice from where I'm at If it had been the same height as the windows beside it. But then I'm in the middle of the Pacific.
I hope you don't have problems moving the cabin. It has a completely different load stress configuration now. There will be massive amounts of rattling and bumps on the way to it's new home. Best wishes.
My thoughts too ... I fear broken windows and cracked drywall in the future (during the move)
Definitely agree
LOOKS AWESOME GREAT JOB🤷♀️❤️💯
Can't wait to see it finished and on the land! You're going to enjoy that so much!
I miss your longer video format. Still great content though. Love you guys ✌️💚
The container is coming along nicely and I look forward to following you finishing it out. Have a great week and be safe. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
I cannot wait to see the next series of your shopping container and how it turned out.✨⭐️
Job well done!😁. It’s looking Good!🥰. I see that 1.44 million!😁. Beau and Cam are Beautiful!🥰. Spencer, with all the trouble with the door, I just know you probably could of built it yourself, because you’re a Genius!🙌🏼😁. Is that another shipping container in the background?!😲🤣. Have a Blessed🕊weekend!💖
Wow ! You have such strong motivational ethics and creative abilities and I now believe their is no task you can not handle. You are such amazing role models for your absolutely adorable children who are so blessed to be a part of your family. Look forward to all you do and am always amazed and think you are an awesome family. Thank you for being kind and for sharing your once in a lifetime journey. Bless you and enjoy all you have created.
They make adapters for the battery powered toy cars so you can use your DeWalt / Milwaukee/ etc power tool batteries. Pretty neat idea.
Love what you're doing.❤
Every girl needs a Spencer 12:01
Love your videos. The two of you are amazing. Your children are so adorable.
After making my comment, some things popped into my mind.
I know a lot of the other TH-cam channels that I watch have hired camera people, and editors.
I realize you guys do all of the filming yourself, as well as the editing. And in my mind, that makes your content even more special.
I also realize through your videos what great parents you are. Everyone can see that through your kids. Instead of being tossed in daycare, they are with both of you. This is a huge benefit for your kids. And being parents I’m sure is your top priority and it should be. Putting out videos more often should never come before your family obligations. I love you guys for that reason. Don’t change. I am patient and it’s only out of greed, wanting to see you guys more, that I desire more videos. Keep up the great work.
Spencer's patience is an inspiration. I tend to get very impatient when I work projects like this, but Spencer's got it right. Take your time. Do it right. You can finish tomorrow.
Wow you guys are amazing and I love your container cabin 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Beautiful couple 🎉
Love watching you guys and your journey❤
I was just going to say that this would be great for the new property until you are ready to move the house etc and would probably be more comfortable than the camper
Hi guys great news the cabin is dryed in and the smiles on the children's faces having fun the best take care🥰🌹
Wow this cabin is going to look so good amongst all the trees in the mountains!! 🤗
I have enjoyed watching you from the very beginning. While I have watched the growth in both of you, your family, and your home, I am now very much looking forward to the growth in your home place and surroundings. May God continue to bless you all always.
Thank you for taking the time effort and your talents to make these videos for our enjoyment.
From reading some of the comments I can tell that each of us come from a multitude of backgrounds and experiences and areas yet you manage to keep us each and everyone fully immersed in your videos and visions. Keep up the good works!
Love you all and prayers for you. ♥️Grama🌹
Whenever I hear that music come on at the end of the show, I always feel sad. This family is such a pleasure to watch and learn from. Funny how you can miss someone you have never met. Excellent channel.
The door was installed backwards. It should open in and hinges should be inside the cabin.
I wondered the very same thing - with the hinge pins on the outside there is absolutely zero security. My only assumption is they didn’t want it impeding on the already small interior.
