I could see after 200yds that you liked it! You’ve really nailed how to convey how a bike makes you feel - reminds me of Harry met Sally - ‘I’ll have whatever she’s having!’. Congratulations on delivering to us a very exciting review - fantastic. Get your c/card ready Kate…
I have had this exact bike for about 5 weeks now. I am extremely happy with it as it replaced my rs660. Great review Kate as always! You are one of my favorite to watch for sure
Hi, I traded my RS660 few weeks ago and this 765Rs is one of my furure tips as well. RS660 was precise, easy handling and quite quick bike, but the performance of the engine was too linear for me. I am also considering 1200RS, but it’s probably too powerful for my needs. Could you please compare these two bikes for me? Thanks a lot! 😊
You're 100% right about the new RS being a much plusher ride than the previous models, I had the 2020 RS and it's amazing that Triumph could make the 2023 bike handle sharper but simultaneously make the comfort better, usually one has to suffer to improve the other, IMO this is the bike of the year, I absolutely love mine!
The suspension is exactly the same. Excusing geometry it's probably just set more softly. My 2017RS came horribly crashy. So bad I got really awful pain in my wrists eventually from riding it. Once I had softened the suspension it was perfect. Still firm but it didnt feel like there was no suspension.
@@sacredgeometry I think you're right, both the original 2017 765 RS and the 2020 second update were harshly sprung and Triumph have got the standard settings spot on this time.
Addirittura! Noterete parecchie analogie...
Amazing views on that road you've picked. Gorgeous! I lived in the UK as a teen and fell in love with Triumph motorcycles. Now back in the USA, I bought a 2015 STR RX 675, the first model with the Daytona rear end and a quick shifter. I upgraded to a 2018 765RS when they came out over here, and just this week traded up to the cosmic yellow 24 year model 765 you're riding here (in the US it's 24, not sure why). The powerband comes on so much smoother than the 18, and the quick shifter is 100x smoother. A definite upgrade in just a few years. I cannot for the life of me figure out how they got it to handle better though,, it was already perfect. You said it so many times, how well they've done with this model, I can't wait to get her broken in. Great review vids!!
Thanks for the enthusiastic review. I cannot wait to recieve notice from my dealership when my street triple rs in cosmic yellow finally arrives. Have a lovely day and greetings from Austria!
That bike hits that really nice sweet spot of tons of power, but still light and nimble. Not the bezerk power of the modern 1000's just the right amount of power. People (young men) get obsessed with "more power less weight, more power less weight" they forget that really magic bikes find that sweet spot of power, weight, handling, stability etc. I think its a real winner.
@usernamekate I like your review videos and your detailed walk around. I am happy to see someone my height reviewing the bike. I'm actually awaiting mine to come into the dealership. I'm very excited to be getting one. Im going with the Silver Ice because I feel like everyone is going after the Yellow. The wait is killing me. LOL!
So, there I was tootalling along the A6265 in my little car on a quiet Bank Holiday afternoon when all of a sudden....this yellow flash and whooosh !!!
What a beauty Kate! Ive recently added a '19 RS to my RS1250. Oh boy, lightweight and giggles. I see in the manual that there are softer suspension settings from stock. Will explore as I am also a petite rider!
I’ve had two Street Triples in the past, including a 2018 RS. They’re amazing bikes and I immediately went to look at the new one in yellow. So tempted, but I’m too knackered for a sporty riding position, so I’ll just have to enjoy watching vids like yours to experience the nostalgia. Oh and “oh my nads” had me roaring too, so thanks for that! 🤣
Just taken delivery of a 2023/4 Triumph Street Triple RS in the Red thought i mite regret yellow colour later on anyway I get the feeling you like it a lot from your video first impressions 😊😊
The current Street Triple is a cracking looking bike, especially in the yellow. I really hope the Speed Triple 1200RS gets a paint makover soon with some fancy colour options. I could see me selling kidneys if they sort the paint.
Hey Kate, great review on this bike, and I loved the other two as well. I’ve been considering getting one for a couple of months, and this review sold me. My cosmic yellow 765 is landing in Dunedin, NZ next week and I can’t wait to get on her. I’m looking forward to hitting the Central Otago roads over summer. Thanks again for your informative content. Triumph owes you some commission I reckon!!!
I've just bought one these in red, 2024 model 765 RS big jump from the benelli leonchino 125, i have to say even being 5ft4, its a perfect fit, its fast still running engine in, cant imagine the performance bump when the run in rev limit is removed! (first Cat A bike from a CBT as well)
I love it when I get over the guilt of knowing my CBR has been sat in the garage for a year with a flat tyre, and finally allow myself to start watching usernamekate again guilt free 🎉
When you're presented with a package that rivals the Daytona 765 in looks, performance and handling, it's only money. This will be a classic bike for sure.
Cracking ride Kate! What a beauty the RS is especially in yellow. I really enjoyed your spirited and controlled ride and the sound of these bikes always brings a smile to my face too. If I didn't already own a '21 R I'd be very tempted but I really don't need the "upgrade". Ride well, ride safe. :>)
Hi kate those roads you were on are my stomping ground not far from where i live yes my dads street triple suspension is very hard i have backed it off for him but its not perfect enjoy the roads in yorkshire dales.
HI Kate, Thanks for this review and the great video of the moors. I came across your site as I was reading up on this bike and the Speed Triple. I'm considering buy one over here. I guess I watched the whole video as I'm from Leeds and the route you took made me a bit homesick- I have been out here in the SoCal for many a year. Used to ride that area- Appletreewick, Pateley Bridge on so on. It was a while back on me Speed Twin, in the days when a cafe racer was some you built your self and took out to Sherburn for a cup of tea. (Is the transport café is still there?). Anyways, I had a 955i two years ago and it was a blast but not too comfortable. This one looks like that wont be an issue and I have a test ride this coming week. Thanks again for the review and scenery. Subscribed.
My 2020 was harsh too I changed the springs to a 75 instead of the 95 made a huge difference. I’m going to do the same on my Moto 2 although nowhere near as bad as the 2020 lol
Good video Kate, if you're saying the riding position is good I might go check one of those out because I don't like to put weight on my wrists either....... but I have to say that black helmet is just not you lol.... you need some thing with more color
Fantastic video Kate, enjoyed this so much the countryside everything......if your worried about the go pro falling off put a safety wire on so it can only dangle.....the sound of this bike is intoxicating ❤ I would be buying this machine too.👍😎😎😎😎😎
Hi Kate. I've followed your channel for a long time now (all the way back to when I think you had about 5K subs) and I have to say this is one of the best reviews you have done. I felt like I was on the bike with you. This bike is my dream machine and you have just confirmed this for me. I love your reviews Kate and think you are just wonderful. Love and light from Australia, Danny. x
I used to have a 2019 Speed Triple RS which has the Ohlins front and rear - same complaint as yours re suspension; it was like a brick with almost no give. I think the trick is to get that suspension professionally set up on a bespoke basis which I never did but in retrospect wonder whether that would have improved things
1200 is fun but it’s heavier. Has a lot more power and that power isn’t as usable. To use it you’d be in license suspension territory. The street does everything below 100mph really well. Also the Speed is $6k more than the street.
Oh my, love, LOVE the 'proper Yorkshire' review! Was that Toft Gate Barn you started at?? (Oh, JUST replayed the video and saw the sign as you set off 🙂) Superb stuff - from a Scarbourgh Lady Biker ❤
Try and get your mitts on the 'R' version. It's meant to be a bit more road friendly, and £2,000 less, so it would be great to get your thoughts on the differences.
Thanks for this enthralling enthusiastic review, your genuine love for the 765RS really shone through 👍😀 One thing which stood out for me though was the sound, or rather lack of it. " "Listen to that induction roar, it's intoxicating" sadly with Euro regulations getting tougher each year that's all were allowed out of the box. I could hear the triple whine which is always endearing but what use is that without a bit of a rip from the exhaust to accompany it.
I had the 18, and it was intoxicating. The power band was crazy ! I just new I’d loose my license if I kept it longer. Now I’m actually missing it again. The problem with having a motorcycle is you need more then one
Not so much a review as a ........oh ah ye ha..... "oh ma nads :) funny ! I rode a yellow one last Saturday and it was a blast - the acceleration is pretty nice for passing those tin boxes on wheels and something no one else has mentioned but it slows down really nicely when you throttle off - i guess due to the high compression engine. My first triple ride and like you, i think i am in Love !! I WILL get one - silver for me & RS !
Triumph always made great looking yellow bikes.... thinking on the Daytona 1200 from the 90's. Really liked that one. Wondering how this Street Triple compares to the XSR900. Two nice engines. 🙄
If this bike is a pair of tweezers then the XSR is a pair of pliers. The engines are very different on them as well. Where the ST is a ride to the top of the revs the MT is a lot happier with punching you from low rpms. Where the ST is a cheetah, the MT is a lion. Very similar bikes but very different at the same time. Honestly I probably prefer crosplane twins but these bikes hold a special place in my heart
If you had to choose this over a ZH2 ( I know totally different bike but there’s loads around and at the same price so obviously the ZH2 is more bike but will it be no more fun or a waste of time because you can’t actually use the power ? Great review Kate 👍🏾
Hi Kate, Nice review, I sold the previous 765 RS because it was way to stiff for the country roads I ride. What have they done to change the suspension in the new one.

@@UsernameKate thats good to know, it's a daft decision they put electronic suspension on the RR and not the RS, charge a little more but give a choice, im sure more bike trials would then translate into sales, sadly that does not seem the case. Although to look at the 1200 rs speed trip looks incredible, as does that gorgy yellow beast your riding.
Love the yellow but the one thing that got me about the bike is that the dash is sooo low it’s like it’s fallen off. Not ridden it but sat on one at a show as I loved it as soon as I saw it but that’s the one thing that made me go why have they done that?
I have the 2019 Speed Triple 1050RS, and Ive had the rear shock toned down a bit by Mick Gander Racing in Barnsley and its a lot nicer ride now, still firm but not making my vision bad now, also a little pet peeve with Triumph with the heated grips, when you switch them on it would be a lot better if the little symbol changed colour instead you get tiny little pips under the symbol so very hard to just glance to see what setting you have it on. Apart from that brilliant bike and love the power delivery and handling.
I’ve previously made a tongue in cheek comment on the tailpiece … it was from the rear but have to say on the side profile and in that colour the ass end really looks 👍
News Flash. A young lady was at a Triumph dealership trying to trade in her better half for a yellow street triple rs.

That's a good point about the grips! Just a green yellow and red would be better 😊
Nothing better than hearing you being happy!❤
Bought a used 675 R and i hasnt have that fun since i sold my Hayabusa. Great bike and my first English bike. 😄👍
8:26 Both hands off the bars !! Bloody 'el Kate !!
A "spunky" "nads" and a "wowsers". Come for the bike, stay for the commentary 😂
Kate were are those roads look amazing nice motorcycle still love my speed triple and i would miss the power lol 😀😇🤪
Just got my full A licence. Still on a 125 until i save up. Not sure what to get as a big bike. Think i want a sports tourer but not sure which.
Track ready (rs & moto2), great breaks(Brembo Stylema) and Cosmic Yellow 💛
I swear one of these days Kate you're going to end up have a When Harry Met Sally moment on one of these rides ;)
I haven't ever watched that film lol
@@UsernameKate Haha look up 'When Harry Met Sally restaurant scene' and you'll see what I mean
I’ve previously made a tongue in cheek comment on the tailpiece … it was from the rear but have to say on the side profile and in that colour the ass end really looks 👍
Your success is awesome
처음보는 케이트에 사랑에빠져서 구독하고갑니다~
I like your jacket. Is it waterproof. And what is it
What are your thoughts on this bike for touring?
Fits you like a glove !
