      My mate is doing just that. He brought the 1200 R/S last year, but it’s just too much for the roads, so he has a deposit on the 2023 Street R/S 765. He tested the 2022 Street R/S, and immediately looked more confident and comfortable in the twisties.

    Triumph is the only bike manufacturer today that make tangible improvements on their entire product lines. They just don’t put the sp tag, put some brembos, and fancy colors and Jack up the prices. This street triple, though a bit too much for the road, is the best refined middle weight naked money can buy. What a bike!

    • @kimw200blaze4
      @kimw200blaze4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I disagree. All the big name Japanese manufacturers make tangible improvements to their bikes. Triumph doesn't have a monopoly in this area. Japanese motorcycle engineering continually learns from what it has made and how they can improve it.

    • @RichardsModellingAdventures
      @RichardsModellingAdventures ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DaleMt09sp You have a point. in defence of Kawasaki, the Z900 SE has Brembo's ( front) and Ohlins.( on the back) Same price as the RS. I like the engine on the Kawasaki better and the dealer support is way better than Triumph in my area. Buying a bike is more than just the Bike. It's the long term durability ( or short term even) and the support network too. I have been let down by Triumph too many times in the past.

    Still a beautiful machine. Think Triumph have made the RS just a little more sporty and more nose down with the spacer in the rear shock. Just wonder if the R may still be the choice for the road??? Trouble is you go for the R and you don't get the nice dash.
    Triumph certainly are producing some desirable bikes.

    • @JelloThatsMellow
      @JelloThatsMellow ปีที่แล้ว

      The nice dash actually sucks according to other reviewers. There's no standard round tach, something the r actually has ironically. Plus honestly, looking at the road is more important than looking at the screen!

    • @Englishbikerdan

      @DatOldeBiker ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Brian Williams I don't like that it's where the "flash lights" usually is on bikes , I prefer the main/dip switch to be towards the rider on the bars, and not right at the back which is a bit awkward. I don't have a problem with the dash or suspension which people are saying here.

    I take it that that is the old model? calling it a 2022 model would be more accurate I would say.

      It’s first available for sale in 2023. The US would call this a 2024 MY - all a bit confusing, but a NEW for ‘23 for me. Other reviews have mentioned the many engine/gearing changes - it’s not just new colours.

      This is the new model as tested at the Jerez launch by MCN and others. As its March 2023 I'd call it the 2023 model.😊

      No it's the brand spanking new 2023 model, as per the description and explanation at the very beginning of the vid. I think 2023 model is as clear as I can be. 😁

      Great reviews but could do without the smutty remarks. Quite like a giggle.
