God, Guns and Motorcycles a hard combo to beat!!! I also carry a firearm everyday CCW here is California and yes there are some counties that are quite difficult to get a permit. But I live in a free county and have had a CCW for 30+ years! I grew up on a country farm so guns were a normal part of life like any other tool. My first gun (other than a red rider) was a single shot 20 gauge at around age 8 or 9 I think. It was big and heavy for me, but I dragged that baby everywhere and can still remember that smell of a spent cartridge after braking her open and ejecting that yellow shell! I never saw you to post any firearm vid's before...I got a grin on my face a little while back when you pulled one out for show-n-tell,... I just knew somebody was gonna feel a little squirrelly. (I also favor the big .45)
No worries on the gun content…loved the shooting sports… hunting, recreationally and when I was younger (better eyesight then) in competitions. All good Smoak👌👍

Hey Shawn, God, guns, airplanes, and motorcycles...thats me. Life member GOA & NRA, AT 55 I'VE been shooting since I was 3 years old. We start young in the country. Lifetime permit to carry in Louisiana, just have to re-qualify every 5 years. I have no issue with that and believe it's a good idea. Living in Kansas for work at the moment. We're a free state here Constitutional carry. The only reason I'll get a Kansas permit is so I can legally carry when I travel home to Louisiana. All the states I pass through have reciprocity with Kansas. Keep my sidearm on me at all times. I'm not paranoid either. My sidearm is to help me fight my way to a rifle or shotgun. I think you could say we are of like mind on these things. Keep at it. You and Momma take care, I'll see you tomorrow. God bless, Rob

I remember when you first showed us your gun I was shocked and surprised. However here in the UK we cannot own a gun. I suppose many folks think the USA would be better off without them. It would likely as not save a lot of innocent lives. Of course the vast majority of good folks like yourself are totally fine owning and carrying a weapon. Having shot a hand gun and an AK47 in Thailand and Cambodia for fun I absolutely understand the excitement and pleasure they give. Thanks guys.
My wife and I love to shoot our guns but up until very recently ammo got so expensive we stopped shooting. I live in Santa Bárbara County and they just about don't let anyone have a CCW unless your in Law Enforcement or something similar I guess. Now I hear our Gov. is wanting to outlaw our AR's. They better not!. Good Vid as usual. Enjoyed the ride and topic for sure.
I grew up with firearms, my wife did not. I got my CCW in NY at 19. Lots of hoops to jump through there. Iowa and AZ were a lot easier. I never got into it with my kids so much as my wife never was interested. We grew up in the same county, but her dad was from the city and a school teacher, whereas my dad and mom were exposed to it in their youth and older. Dad belonged to a gun club and was a tailgunner in WWII. Mom was from Tacoma, but moved to NY when young and her dad was a cop(Originally from La Grande OR) and he was an avid outdoorsman. Mom could shoot well. My only thing is safety and good judgement in the use of. Sometimes the ignorance of some in the pro 2A community with regards to the use of deadly force surprise me though. My only advice is get insurance from something like the USCCA and learn as much as you can. Even when you're right it can be a travail. Anyway, enough from me. You're good.

It's hard to talk sense to anti gun people. I was raised with a hunting and competition gun family. It's a great sport and part of our history. I enjoy gun channels and your channel thanks.

As an Aussie i never got the gun thing, but after recent events in the world and a bit of education on the matter i get it now, we can have guns over here if licensed but its more of a hobby type of thing, not really for protection so much, but if governments keep heading in the same direction that could change, your comments possibly came from an Aussie that doesn't get it still.

Yes this Rotax motor sounds good. Looks like this bike has quite a bit of torque. KTM used to use Rotax motors and pretty sure Aprilia use them.
