    Thanks for another low stress look at Australia. I do have one question. Do you go through more coffee than petrol on your trips?? 🤔

    Sturt's desert pea. Same explorer as the Sturt Highway. Great trip. Look forward to your next video.

    What a great trip mate! Well shot. Birdsville is on my bucket list for this year. Was up in Winton last year, beautiful country and no end of cattle trucks. I think Middleton is where they shot Mystery Road. My kinda landscape. ATB Jason.

      Yeah, it's a whole look of open space out that way.... there's still some of the set from Mystery Road just out of Middleton that's worth a look at too... You'll have an awesome trip out that way 😎👍

      Yeah it's a great ride... Almost like riding across Mars in some places, a whole lot of nothing, very surreal and peaceful... 🤠👍

    Great video! What kind of tent were you using for motocamping? Which is your favorite tent?

    Love the video, I have 1 question, Who makes that tent? or whats it called? I really like that style

      It's called the Kakadu. It's sold by Anaconda in Australia and it's made in China has been a good tent.

    Hi Brownie
    Great video - I’m thinking on buying an F800GS Adventure - how did you find the vibrations on your bike on long highway runs particularly on the handle bars? I’ve read the vibes can put your hands to sleep after 30mins - did you find this?
    Many thanks
    Peter

    Great vid Brownie....Very interesting insight. Are those Michelin Tyres you running?

    • @brownies-midlifeadventure5333
      @brownies-midlifeadventure5333  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Macca... Yeah
      Michelin Anakee Wild's - they are the best I've found so far in all my years of riding, the only con is the back tire doesn't last too long if you ride too hard on them.

      @@brownies-midlifeadventure5333 Ahhhh ok....Carrying all that weight won't help the longevity either. I'm thinking about getting them once my current tyres expire.

      @@kiwipilot407 and the fat rider ;-)
      Do it I say... I'm on my 2nd rear one now, the first I got about 5,000 km out of it about 50/50 road/dirt, I'll let you know how long the new lasts, with the pros being it's a dam good rear. The front is superb too and just goes where it's pointed all the time.

    Hey Mate.
    Just wondering what seat you have on the bike.
    Mine must be the most uncomfortable seat ever made.
    Cheers

      Hi Greg... at the moment it's just the OEM seat that the bike came with, it's softness is okay (I can sit on it all day) but the shape tends to roll my hip/pelvis the wrong way... On my DRZ400 I had a Saddleman seat and that was freaking awesome... I might looking into another one of those for this bike saddlemen.com/seat-advtrg-f800gs

    How is your gps mounted?

    • @brownies-midlifeadventure5333
      @brownies-midlifeadventure5333  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use the Quad Lock system...
      Then I just added the QuadLock sticky adaptor on the back of the Garmin GPS mount....
