¡que recuerdos mas bonitos me trae este video de mi estancia en Islip!
Gracias.
I grew up watching this and your other early videos. They were what really got me into the hobby and inspired me to make my own. Thanks for the memories!
I'm so glad, Joe! It really means a lot to me! You're so welcome! Thank you for the support!
Awesome video. I almost feel that there should be a sign and a big loud announcement at every crossing that says 'DON'T CROSS THE TRACKS WHEN THE GATES ARE DOWN!"
it happened at little neck lirr station once when i was coming home from hunter college for the psal playoffs and yes NO CROSSING THE TRACKS WHEN THE GATES ARE DOWN
Thanks so much! Your videos are really well done too!
Thanks!
Thanks! Ya it was a good day for railfanning!
Ya I will sometime because that's the only crossing on the Port Washington Branch.
that was at mineola lirr yestraday around 3:20 pm
I ment to say that but at the time I took this in early February 2008, I forgot the differences. It's in the description. Thanks for the correction! How bad is 410's horn anyway?
But what I do know is that they had the same kind of WC Hayes E-bell at the pedestrian crossing in Islip.
But in 2006 i remember the signal having a mechanical bell
Yes I know. It says it in the description. I'm not trying to be mean or rude but in all of my videos the correction will be in the description and sometimes a pop up message. But thank-you though.
Ok thanks. Well it's a good thing I didn't hear 410's horn then.
At 0:09 "they sound like electronic bells." But now they have two mechanical bells. I don't remember them having E-bells
it is a e bell
I never knew they had E Bells.

What are you referring to?
i think you should try little neck lirr one day very interesting grade crossing.
Ya it does a little.
Nice one!
that was actually DE30AC 410 correction.
Cool!
at 1:03 look how close that woman came t be ran over.
Person was not thinking at all.
I know I got really scared when I saw that; creepy!
I know really!
Oh well at least he blew his horn. Well a good portion of Metro-North engineers don't blow at railfanners or at least people who wave & watch without a videocamera/camera.
plus yestraday the same cab car at the end of your video 5007, the engineer blew me away with a loud horn. are the lirr engineers always pissed off with train buffers like us? damn 9/11 paranoia -_-
It was actually a adult women but ya still dangerous.
