Alondes has to be the STRANGEST transformation from 40 something % minute role player on a decent tournament team to all around SUPERSTAR on another, slightly better tournament team across the country who scores efficiently at 3 levels and has unbelievable court vision/passing execution. It makes zero sense to me. I keep wondering when he will come back down to earth, but his game film is too unique and impressive to really come back down to earth. He’s executing NBA lead ball handler reads to all areas of the court like it’s nothing to him. I have no clue where to rank him. I just know I love watching him play.
With his athleticism and efficient scoring abilities, he's going to do well alongside Ben, Kevin, and Kyrie (Despite the summer time gossip the media is pushing)🤥
Extremely high BB IQ on the fly. Seems to be always in the right place at the right time, seems to know what to do with and without the ball, sometime surprising explosiveness. Only uses his explosiveness at the right time. Reminds me of a developed Spencer Dinwiddie, although Spencer has better speed agility, and range. Alondes doesn't always display those traigts, but seem to show when needed. He seem to play with extreme poise. Very impressed. He will play very nicely along side Cam Thomas and Ben Simmons.
You got the subscribe from me on this one. The guy who could be the sleeper in the draft or undrafted. But you hit on his best skill, his playmaking. He wants to get teammates involved and since he can get his scoring done at will, he gets his teammates into a rhythm before he starts his scoring. Very unselfish player and always has a smile on his face.
I think it’s because he came from JUCO to Oklahoma and the transition was probably a little bit tough at first but as soon as he got comfortable and in the right system it was go time, you can have all the talent in college but without the right system you can easily go under the radar. This is a great example he’ll be fine in the NBA. And his game will continue to polish.
Rafael, considering that the NBA game and science have evolved and players can extend their careers, should the teams re-think their stand on drafting older players ?
Win now teams don't see it as a problem since they need role players and help immediately. That's why older players feature in the late stages of each draft round.
Can’t trust no analysts that says “some say D.Will better than Cp3” and don’t compare bro to D will they not at all the same Alondes has potential to be wayyy better
Why did he not play in Oklahoma? Did he have disciplinary issues? He seems a bit fiery and was taunting some of his opponents. That is not necessarily negative but I'd be interested to know why he did not get PT? Aside from his flat free throw shooting and turnover rate, he looks like a complete offensive player this year. I bet he gets drafted somewhere in the second because of just one good season and being 23 during the draft. Could be another Malcom Brogdon type sleeper pick IMO.

I mean WOW the dude looks really really good. Love stories like that, hopefully he's able to showcase enough for NBA teams draft him. Nice video, Raf!
Thanks! I hope to find more similar stories
two way contract with nets.
he looks real good, this video is really impressive. his age is probably the reason i haven't heard much of him. What do you think of him defensively?
Crazy athletic with great playmaking skills
How tall is he?!
23 on draft night with that size and talent? Sounds like the perfect Thibodeau point guard. Knicks.
They got too many PG’s lol.. Rokas Jokubaitis is hoopin in Barcelona
Welcome to Brooklyn

1st round pick IMO

This transfer from Oklahoma to Wake Forest is a believer. This kid has big goals.
And big game!
He's more of Baron Davis to me💯
Alondes is a beast

I like how he play ang pass
bring him the Boston Celtics🍀🍻
Can he defend
Can he shoot 3's ?
Red was here. Much support. God bless
Nice... I like his game too! After this breakdown though, I'm moving him up 1 tier on my big board.
I feel like there is a little bit of Mitch Richmond to his game just how crafty he is in the middle area and around the paint.
We'll see if and where he gets picked. He's a great pick.

Yep. Crazy to think teams think someone 22 is old

@@arceus54321 I’ll turn it down. Thanks for letting me know
What happened between Oklahoma and Wake? He looks like how Kyrie did at Duke

Alondes the 🐐

He's a 2 guard not a point. He's going to punish people in the paint 220 lbs.
Triton college!
