- I've been getting a lot of questions about how I got started and a few times per week people tell me they would love to do what I'm doing for a living..
So I decided to give a condensed version about my peaks and valleys into working in professional sports. Hopefully this will encourage someone who is struggling with choosing between giving up on something they're passionate about or to keep going..

I know that feeling all too well. It’s really discouraging because there’s no direct path to working in sports. It’s not like if you graduate with a degree in education you know you’ll end up with a job as a teacher.. Graduating from college with a dream is working in sports it like walking into a dark room..

My husband is scouting for free. I told him he needs to get paid, they aren't even giving him mileage. I did not watch this video yet, so you may mention it. I am trying to help him create a contract with prices for each kid that gets signed and hourly rates for attending games, phone calls, etc. He volunteers for multiple colleges. He's so humble and a Godly man, but we have a family and time away from his family, he needs to be compensated. Do you have any suggestions on rates?
