ABOUT TODAYS VIDEO: Bone Broth Benefits For Dogs
Bone broth for dogs is an age old recipe used in many cultures for the recovery of many health conditions. For our dogs it also has many uses to aid recovery, prevent illness and boost your dogs immune system.
With that in mind here's 13 reasons bone broth is so good for dogs.
    1. Bone broth is the go to choice when your dog is off color or feeling low.
    2. It's great for dogs in recovery or need a health boost.
    3. It's great for healing dogs with digestive issues such as IBD, IBS, Leaky gut or other gut related health issues.
    4. Bone broth is loaded with nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and gelatin for healing conditions such as leaky gut and allergies.
    5. The broth will aid the immune system, cleanse the liver and alleviate joint inflammation.
    6. You can easily add vegetables your dog likes or whatever you have in the house.
    7. Bone broth is easy to freeze as ice cubes or portioned off into freezer bags and mixed into with your dogs regular diet for a super food boost.
    8. It's loaded with glucosamine which benefits your dogs joints.
    9. Bone broth aids your dog's liver to detox.
    10. It's great for enticing a dog that's off their food and won't eat.
    11. Bone broth is the go to choice for dogs with diarrhea issues and a great first step to getting your dog back onto solid food gain once the diarrhea has stopped after a 24 hour fast.
    12. Bone broth provides more moisture to kibble fed dogs when added to meals as kibble fed dogs are often dehydrated from eating kibble and not taking on enough extra water to compensate.
    13. Bone broth is a great addition to the kibble fed dogs diet, providing an extra source of vitamins, minerals, gelatin, glycosaminoglycans such as glucosamine, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid and glycine to aid digestion.

Sorry reply late, your comment did not show, found it here in back office comment held. Yes that's fine to give, actually very good to give. Is this a fatty lipoma? Add lots of part cooked and well mashed/blended veggies, Probiotics: amzn.to/3yoURqU
Give eggs and canned sardines too (packed in water).
And give greens, see this video about lipomas: th-cam.com/video/s6GRB1DkLQg/w-d-xo.html

Do you recommend something for deworming and to prevent heart worm? Also do you recommend rabies or neutering? Would love to hear about these topics from your perspective. Thanks

    • @DanScott1

Hi JoAn, yes I ceratinly do: amzn.to/35pbcio The video explaining the procedure: th-cam.com/video/2LkzSgeOpGw/w-d-xo.html (Just let me know your dogs weight?)
      Works with heartworm too.
I don't recommend vaccines. I don't recommend neutering (tubal ligation is the best procedure as it keeps the hormones intact - important)
I have spoken about fixing dogs the correct way but not on video. A method in which the dog is fixed but in a way that saves the hormones. Neutering is butchery to me when there's a safer and better way to do it both with males and females.
I also have discussed vaccines (made a free report on it years ago). Again, there's a titer test to check antibody levels to check if a vaccine is even needed. The first puppy shots last up to 11 years (from long term testing by Dr Ronald Shultz). It's shoocking that vets advocate annual vaccines - this leads to autoimmune disease. I'm personally not for any vaccines anytime, as a dog on a healthy diet is strong enough immune system wise for anything. It's vaccines, kibble only diets and all the other drugs that weaken a dog into chronic ill health and cancer... generally speaking.
      Thanks JoAn

@@DanScott1 we have a 4 pound Yorkie and 2 puppies around 15 pounds that are 6 months old.

@@DanScott1 thank you so much! So how do I find out if a vet here in the US would do the methods you mention for fixing or for vaccines. Our vet recommends rabies after 5 months of age and getting fixed at a year old. All of our dogs are on a raw diet. I purchased your book years ago. The vet recommends that our puppies get dewormed very often. We did get them parvo vaccine since they talked me into that. So far, that’s the only vaccine they have received, the 2 puppies. They don’t have any signs of worms, so how often would you recommend treating. God forbid they did get signs of parasite overload, what would you recommend to do? We do have chickens and so it’s possible the dogs could eat the chicken droppings or contamination from soil.

    • @DanScott1

@@joanstead 1 drop for the Yorkie in food once daily for 14 days, stop for 7 days, then another 14 days. This kills all life stages, eggs, larvae and adults. For tthe other two, 5 drops.

    • @DanScott1
      @DanScott1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@@joanstead Most vets should perform a titer test if requested, it does cost for the test. You may be able to do direct with vaccicheck.com/
Here's a link to a small animal hospital in the US: asah.net/services/alternative-sterilization (This explains the difference and options) Maybe ask them or search more locally to you. Please get the dogs fixed the kinder and long term healthier way - and ignore veterinary comments otherwise!
I thought I knew you!!! (was going to say in last comment but did not want to sound too familiar.. in case I was wrong).
For the worms or as a preventaive every 18 months, use the treatment I recommended in the last reply (I gave you the drop amounts in last comment for deworming and the link to a video about deworming and the natural home remedy link). Worms are no big deal, also treating is no big deal.
Don't parvo vaccinate any further. There's natural alternatives.
A raw diet negates all drugs, especially vaccines!
      Hope that helps .
I'm here if you need further help and clarification.

Hi, I have a question! I just made a batch of bone broth for my dog and separated it into jars. I put the jars outside to stay cold and they ended up freezing and then thawed. Am I able to refreeze them or is that not safe? Thanks n

    • @DanScott1

Should be fine but I don't know your dogs history. These allergies come from so much of the same thing too often. Start thinking about adding some fresh food like sardines, eggs and veg, they lessen allergy symptoms.

Chicken feet broth is great, before I usually fed my Dog with ground pork, but I noticed ground pork is fatty. So instead I made broth from chicken feet mixed with his other food, and it turns out he loves it more because of the smell and taste of it. As a human I also love eating chicken feet ❤

How much bone broth should a dog consume. Its high in fat which is not too much of a problem but on top of all the fat in his meat diet it must be easy to overdose the four legged fella.
