And I couldn't even finish this one. I stopped somewhere late in the movie and I just never tried to watch it again.

Funny how Wrong Turn 5 used “Bloodlines” in the title yet had a random old man we’ve never seen before bossing around the Hillbillies. Wrong Turn 6 uses “Last Resort” when it’s obvious they intend to make more.
Cody, I agree with just about everything you said, but I can’t help but enjoy this fucking movie! (I know, I’m going to Hell! 😅). And since you wondered, yes, I could possibly defend this. However, I would NOT say; "You're wrong, this is a great movie!" because I don't think it is.
I COULD however say; "This is cheezy and (s)exploitative hokum that is entertaining by sheer excess." I found it astonishing how they tried to put this much explicit material into a modern horror movie, especially in a time nudity is considered more troublesome than blood and gore.
To me WT6 felt like a reboot-effort that turned into a complete mess with ideas all over the place, but I still found it hilarious how damn OTT it was.
I couldn’t even finish Wrong Turn 6. I turned it off intending to finish it. Seven years later, never went back.
Neither could I. I watched the first 10-15 minutes of the movie then was wondering why the hell I even watched this movie in the first place.

Wrong turn 6 I believe is a film the studio wanted to forget ever existed. It was made for 1 million dollars and pretty much cost more then what it was made for. A lawsuit or something like that happened with a family which ended with all copies of the film being recalled, the film got shit for that suffocation death, and one of the actresses (I won't say which one) caused a bit of trouble. I think the studio just wanted to wash their hands of this film and pretend in never happened. Hell even some websites on the wrong turn series either gloss over it or have no mention of it at all. I only ever watched this film once and I didn't even finish it.
These last movies in the Franchise makes the first movie seem like a masterpiece lol

Wrong Turn 6 had some controversy where they used a real missing woman’s photo and that caused some issues with further releases after. Probably why people forget about it.

I'll admit, I like the entire franchise. Is it garbage? Yes. Yes, yes it is. I do prefer the first three movies over the rest, but they're like a guilty pleasure, its just ashame they ended up relying on the sex scenes to fill up the movie time. I don't like them in any movie. Am a prude what can i say 🤷♀️🤣🤣

This was the first Wrong Turn movie I watched. Truly baffling.
Wrong turn 6 is a reboot that ignores Wrong Turn 2,3,5 and it it is really the last in a unknown Trilogy
Wrong Turn 4- Origin Story
Wrong Turn- original film which I call hunting season
Wrong Turn 6- Final chapter and it brings the story full circle
Say what you want about all these movies but these 3 are my favorites and there my ideal Wrong Turn Trilogy even if people don’t see them that way

In the end it was the series itself that took a wrong turn. When I watched the Dead Meat Kill Count for this seeing one of the cannibals in cult robes made me laugh. And on that video someone said that the cannibals are basically the Sawyers and Hewitts from Texas Chainsaw and the Jupiters from Hills Have Eyes with none of their personality.

I was 14 when I saw this in a video store... rip video stores... my heart had jumped out of my chest. I am an avid fan of this franchise I've pretty much told the story of how I found and perceived these one by one as I've seen these reviews so I think by now if you've read them all I shouldn't have to explain why its in my top ten horror franchises. The first time I watched it was the worse viewing of it but I've grown to be able to laugh at it at the end of my marathons. Only one I doubt I'd ever watch on its own but I dont skip it.
I gotta say I'm not huge into rock music. But damn that intro song goes hard.

The reason why 6 isn’t in the blu ray collection has to do with the missing girl posters. They used a real missing person poster without consent. This movie is pretty bad regardless.
The funniest part about this movie was that my mom bought it for me as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. It was a stocking stuffer alright

There are multiple cuts of this film, aren't there? I've just watched it and I counted like three sex scenes altogether in a 90 minutes runtime. And the longest lasted for about 20 seconds.

So, sounds like I jumped ship just in time, because I skipped it. I mean Friday the 13th has been known to have tons of s3x scenes, but at least while they are getting it on, people are reminded Jason is still lurking around somewhere. Maybe this script started as a remake of Caligula, but they changed their mind when they went to shoot it, so decided to throw in the characters from Wrong Turn, and market it as that. 😂🤣
