"The Mountain Man Festival" sounds like the name of a surprise birthday party my folks would come up with since that's the nickname my father tends to give me.
I think a 90 min feature of Phelous snarking at stuff with Michael and Jason interrupting would be infinitely more entertaining than Wrong Turn 5 (and probably most of the other movies of the series). I remember seeing the first one and that already bored me.
TheHitherto Me too! It is very entertaining and cool in a horrible, yet silly way! The first one is decent but that's it. 3 is not very good. As for the fourth and fifth installment I just learned that they exist!
Phelous is right, Wrong Turn 2 was the only entertaining movie in this series. As the series progressed, the movies became so dull and pointless that even the death scenes were boring as hell
18:49 Then Wrong Turn 9, where the inbreds steal the Alien's technology, time-travel travel back to Earth's Cretaceous period and kill off the dinosaurs.
Doesn't inbreeding give you a shorter lifespan, I'd use that as an excuse to stop making these sequels. Also, did Michael Meyers do a finger snap and a neck roll?
+Clay3613 Not too long, though; the average lifespan in the Middle Ages was around 33 - 40 years, although you had a better chance of living to 50+ if you were healthy past 21. It does depend, but inbreeding among nobles/royals probably didn't help, (though most of the upper-class didn't live as healthily as the common folk, diet and exercise and all).
It depends on how long it's been going on, what mutations appear and how close the parents are. Human inbreeding has been historically common, but still not advisable. For example a single instance of hemophilia has been retained in European royalty. They're by no means a gaggle of biological freaks, but this one gene has put several of them at risk and has made many of them significantly weaker and more fragile than they otherwise would be. You can use inbreeding with care to increase the frequency of good genes.. but bad ones also piggyback their way into the gene pool at equally high rates. Just look at the mess that is dog breeding. You get desirable traits, but all pure bred dogs have high rates of genetic illness, and they occur at higher and higher rates the more the idea of a 'pure bred' dog goes on.
In horror movies inbreeding is awesome. Sure, you'll be pig ugly, but you'll also get extreme resilience for some reason. See also The Hills have Eyes and probably some others titles.
Kevin Siungdung This is a re-upload, presumably from around the time of the Fallout with Channel Awesome. I don't know who the ghost is supposed to be, though.
Looking through the title cards done by Andrew, the high af ghost first appeared in the title card for the Nightmare on Elm Street remake review as Teddy. Still no idea who he is.
This movie(if want to call it that)is basically a super incredibly cheap The Texas Chainsaw Massacre or an even dumber Hostel(if that's even possible).😒
There's a part of me that wants to ask why there's a floating sandwich in some shots of the review, but the other part of me knows the answer and is disgusted/horrified/confused as to why they would even put that in the movie.
Okay... I'm getting ULTRA tired of people seizuring on the ground when they are harmed on the ground in horror movies. "Ow that really hurts! LEMME JUST FLOP AROUND INSTEAD OF MOVE!"
To be fair the bit about raping and killing the girl at the end was arguably the most unsettling part because he manages to get away with her by the end of the movie. that was just uncomfortable despite literally everything else in this movie
I have to ask, how much more of a stinker was Hellraiser 9 that Doug turned that down, but said yes to this? I saw Hellraiser 9 and while it has its good points, this must be Shakespeare by comparison or I can't see why Doug would agree to be in it.
I did a little bit of digging around and apparently wrong turn 3 4 and 5 we're all made by the same guy and he actually had a contract to make three wrong turn movies from start.
With the running gag of Michael and Jason, all I can think of with this review isn't just how ridiculously overpowered the Inbreds are in this film, but also: "Michael Myers is an escaped mental patient. Jason & Freddy? Different kind of movie!"
Yeah it's the hot chick from Dominion and the first two seasons of Game of Thrones! Roxanne McKee! She really needed that pay check? Wait did the other chick say: "Officer I think I took a Wrong Turd"?
Am I the only one that is disappointed that they never found a way to send them into space? They did it with Friday The 13th, they can find a way to do it here!
Things that could of might saved this movie 1 the inbreds turn on the guy who abuse them 2 one of the main characters could of lived but cops find his weed and think he was high and not believe his story about the inbreds 3 they could of had a fourth inbred that died in the prequels
Why is it that Michael's story in this video is 1) more compelling than anything in the movie, and 2) made me think so much of Buzz and Woody from Toy Story?
This review hinted at the one thing I want to see now after watching how jealous Michael was of the attention Jason was getting: Michael vs. Jason. Couldn't be any worse than all the Wrong Turn, Saw, Hostel, Paranormal Activity, etc., sequels and we've already seen Freddy take on Jason, so why not?
both being silent stalkery antagonists would fit well if playing to their strengths freddy and jason work for the opposite and teen targets but instead with michael and jason it'd be alot more action and alot less quips. but hmmm. then who should freddy fight that will joke and smack talk back.. leprecaun maybe?
I think the only reason this isn't a thing is because they're a lot like each other. However, I think if they emphasized their unique traits it could still work, especially with their motivations and tactics
would you ever do the texas chainsaw movies? the weird sequels to the original and the ones based on the remake, and the remake, I think any of those would be a pretty funny review
What I find confusing is how jumbled the tone seems. It looks like the movie opens with some attempts at dark humor and trashy thrills. Like the opening kill with the hand making the "5." That's obviously meant to be silly... ...but then the movie ends with everyone dying and the implication a young woman who just had her eyes gouged out is going to slowly be tortured and gang-raped to death. Those don't really go together. Either you commit to goofy, trashy schlock... or you commit to a bleak, apocalyptic tone. It's nearly impossible to move organically between those two extremes.
@@EnchantedTooWellthere was only 2 women kills though Cruz and Sheriff Angela Carter, and Cruz's death as mean-spirited as it is, was meant to be a homage to Mara's death from wrong turn 2 since both characters were "final girls" who turned out to be the false protagonists and die early on, so it was always intended but I do agree.
Not sure what's worse: the amount of obviously European actors trying to pass off as Americans, or that they're not even trying to hide their European accents in a movie that takes place in West Virginia, meaning they're not even trying to do the correct accent.

Depends on how polluted the genepool is. Inbreeding was fairly common in medieval times and those people generally lasted awhile.
